Pass. Kinich and Emilie synergize well but I don't plan on pulling for her ever. I'm glad that he's good on his own and isn't like Xiao or Wanderer that needs specific teams to be good.
There is a mistake at 10:27 ajaw does not get extended, the nightsoul state itself will be, so if you cast the burst during your skill you wont loose skill uptime (1.7s is exactly the casttime of the burst)

I've been using Kinich with both Thoma and Bennett and the combo is really good. Bennett can catch Thoma's pyro particles which makes his uptime extremely high, and you get a shield which is very nice, and then you also get the ATK boost from having 2 pyros in the party.
Her take on C4 is actually the opposite of most theory crafters in the community Since his burst is weaker to start with and then his skill gets way stronger with cons. His C4 isn't a big damage increase Just do your own research on the DMG numbers and then decide. Personally, I would advice against going for just C4
its mostly by C4 standards. like, for a C4, its good compare it to xiao’s C4 which is really crap, or even navia’s rather mediocre C4 for a C4 limited 5*. i looked from a value perspective

Let's say you get C2 mavuika Now let's say you want to C4 another character of a similar value to kinich C4. Would you rather not leave one at C2 and C6 the other? And I think looking at it that way steers you away from the C4 a bit more. But if the answer is still that someone wants to C4 kinich. Then they can, it's definitely a real constellation unlike xiao C4
6:12 I think yelan/Benny/thoma is actually his best core for burgeon. Yes, you have to run deepwood on thoma, but in exchange you get res shred which contributes to his burgeon damage, since you'll be running EM thoma here. yelan has damage percent, less than furina, but in exchange you get the perfect storm of application. Cannon shot-exquisite throw-ooyori guarantees a burgeon every proc, and you might even get some burning uptime depending how you slot Benny between yelan and thoma. You may get less team damage this way, sure, but you still get to take advantage of kinich with burgeon without having to sacrifice benny's massive attack buff, especially for fang havers.
I would say Artifact stat priority is CDMG > ATK % > CRATE > ATK / ER, I really don't think his ult does enough damage in order for us to build into that (even after C5). It can help with generating more big cannon shots more consistently, which is in my opinion it's main use. But again, I don't think that's good enough to consider building ER over CDMG / CRATE / ATK %.
The biggest value in his burst is that using it during his skill can help you get an extra cannon shot. But once every other rotation should be fine, trying to use it every rotation would need a lot of er unless your team just has absurd energy generation.

Got 2 Kinich in a 10 pull :p what i noticed that Kinich doesnt kill enemies, cuz the Canon is still Ajaw on his hand! I also noticed that when Kinich bursts and for example goes further away, Ajaw stays there and keeps talking his burst lines seperately from Kinich!

Anyway, I was waiting specifically for the next episode of this series so my question would be more appropriate (though waiting on Mavuika's inevitable episode would actually be more appropriate), but do you plan on doing an episode for Dehya? I have always liked her, even back before we even knew her name. So you can imagine my...displeasure when she was released. Even then, I tried to roll for her, no luck. I saw free 5 Stars were being given, so I just got back into Genshin Impact. I used my free 5 Star Select on her, I don't regret it. She's still fun to play. Though I wanted to mention that whenever the burst is used during the nightsoul blessing, it is the nightsoul blessing (skill) duration that is extended and not the duration of Ajaw (burst). Which is slightly different but important since it allows to squeeze another spike cannon shot before the end of the skill. Also, when going over the team comps, I feel that saying Kinich name over and over again sounds repetitive, we understand it’s his team, since the video is about him.

Question When in skill, he's described to only gain Nightsoul points (via normals, burning reactions, etc). Meanwhile, the Obsidian Codex specifically states that it gives crit only in the event that Nightsoul is consumed, not generated. Does it REALLY give crit to Kinich? Are you 100% sure?
Its interesting to see what makes people like certain characters or not - for me I think his design is actually neat, I liked that smooth ability of his to drift slightly, and he's handsome yet so much of his kit, his companion, and playstyle don't do it for me, as a pull he doesn't appeal to me whatsoever and I really dislike the pixelated concepts that feel like it breaks immersion in Genshin. Appreciate walkthroughs and character reviews like this that help me better appreciate or acknowledge a character's possiblities and talents yet solidify my choice. I feel better about not wanting/needing him...though sad I don't want him or Raiden so I still can't get Cheverus for Clorinde Amazing for you to love him so much, so glad you finally got him (and only a few Chevs - poor Thoma becomes more disliked the more he arrives, wish they revamped their system based on which characters you already have C6ed - especially after that rough spree of wishing)!
My fav team rn is Kinich, Emily, C2 Dehya with deepwood memories (yep i lost to her on his banner xd), and Bennet. Finally i can use Dehya and it feels good :D

Honestly, Xiangling is pretty awful for Kinich; easily the weakest link. Because Kinich needs to be moving constantly, you'll frequently move in such a way that keeps her Beyblade away from enemies, and Kinich is ranged. If you tether to an enemy far away, her beyblade can't even hit the enemy to begin with, rendering her UTTERLY worthless. Any Kinich team will do better with Thoma than Xiangling.

I use burgeon: Kinich, Thoma, Nahida healer (I love prototype amber and she have 700 EM) and Furina. I don't have Baizhu, but this is great. Replacing Thoma with Dehya it's a suicide squad team. I need to change Furina's Arkhé and it's messy. Both teams gots me full stars.
It's great that I have literally no claymores for him to use. I never got the free 5 star weapon from the event (I don't do web events in general) and I do not own any of the other like, top 10 weapons for him 🫠 best I got is the Prototype Archaic and that's the worst one. Yeah... I might be screwed. Unless by some miracle I get his 5 star weapon.... wish me luck 😭

@@Juice-chan so far, my operational teams are Neuvi hyper/freeze, Yoimiya overcarry w/ Beidou, I'm sure I could piece together a vvvape variant, hyperbloom, burgeon (if I steal Kuki's artifacts) I'm not really clearing floor 12 just yet. My account is about a year old and I haven't been very optimal about it Anyway, guess Kinich would go on the pyro half so they can share Or I'll keep him on earthshaker because the passive is less janky
I use Nahida and he is doing pretty okay dmg for now around 300-400k with a lvl 7 talants 🥸 Edit; forgot to say I use kinich, nahida, bennet and xl. Rotation starts with nahida ends with kinich 😅 ik kinich doesn't need em but deepwood just helps ig

if you have furina then run kinich/furina/baizhu/xiangling or dehya for burgeon and kinich/nahida/xiangling/bennet for burning

@@Juice-chan so far, my operational teams are Neuvi hyper/freeze, Yoimiya overcarry w/ Beidou, I'm sure I could piece together a vvvape variant, hyperbloom, burgeon (if I steal Kuki's artifacts)

Edit; forgot to say I use kinich, nahida, bennet and xl. Rotation starts with nahida ends with kinich 😅 ik kinich doesn't need em but deepwood just helps ig
@@MoistMaze While Nahida is most often NOT recommended for Kinich, as he does not make use of the EM buff at all, she is still a viable dendro slot option in his Burgeon team, since dendro resonance gives EM buff to the Burgeon trigger 👀
