As a student, I pay $2.99 per month for my Office 365 subscription, which totals $35.88 a year. So, $149.99 would cover about 4 years of the subscription, and I also get all the updates. I plan to keep using this subscription.

in my country the price of the Office 2024 (Home edition) is so high you can actually buy a good midranger phone with a lower price lol, no wonders people pirate it so much here

Screw Microsoft and its Office. Quality software comes with a manual! I've been purchasing (not perpetually renting) SoftMaker Office for about twenty years.
