Thank you so much for this. I didn't know I had to press the power buttons once and then hold them down to turn them on. Maybe if I wasn't lazy and read the manual I would've known but thanks anyways. Unfortunately my drone can't fly because it gives a navigation error.

You might want to slow down a bit. In your haste to 'Go Fly' you didn't see the "Installing Firmware" message at the top left of the screen. Always make sure your firmware is up to date! Otherwise, thanks for the video.

Did you find any apps that doesn't require subscription? There were like 3 at android app store for me, it's ridiculous I've payed for the drone why should i pay more
The app should be free and I understand the subscription. I have a free app on my iPhone.
I used an Iphone 12 for about a year together with a mini 3, but now It dosn't pair!! I dont understand because I plug the same cable to others phones and they connect automatically
That’s weird it should work just like any other iPhone
The problem with mine is the two lights next to the power button is turning on and the red light continues to flash. The camera is pairing but the drone itself is taking flight (the connection to the phone and the remote is the correct place.
It takes a while for it to initialize so once you’re out there you got everything set up you have the back of the drone facing you you may have to wait a couple minutes for this to happen You’ll see on right corner of your phone it’s ready to takeoff but it will ales a while

Hi tom. To use this remote do I need to activate roaming data and locations on my phone.
Nope, I don’t think you have to do anything like that. You just gotta connect it with the app and you should be good.

Not sure of the question, but I know that when you first come together, it takes a little while for it to connect

Does the DJI Fly App, does that automatically upload the software and put itself on the phone or do you have to do that beforehand?
The best thing you can do is first go to the App Store for either Google or Apple download the application and follow the prompts. Once you have it on your phone then you can use it with your mini drone. It will not automatically download you have to do it. Good luck and enjoy your drone. Thanks for watching.

Now ive done that how do i start it flying without the app or phone (android user) ive followed instructions as to where to point the sticks, nothing happens 😢
You have to download the app onto either an iPhone, or an android to only way you can make it fly

I'm still having trouble connecting my drone my cell phone is a Motorola
so why do I do go to Google Play or I don't know how to scan it
You should be able to download the app from Google play onto your phone and use the connectors, which I think are USB-C’s and I have to tell you it takes a couple minutes for it to initialize after you’ve done everything on the controller you press the button once and then press and hold same thing on the drone the drone and make some clicks and then you should see the application open up but it may take a minute or two

Why does my dji app want me to pay a monthly fee does it cost money to fly it?
You should not have to pay anything it’s free
My drone white lights does not blink. They stay turned always

My controller keeps giving me the (accessory is not supported by this device) I’m using an iPhone 13 pro max , everything’s updated ,when I try to update the firmware for the remote it says (cannot load firmware ) please help
Try powering down the phone and powering it up then connected press the controller once then press and hold, then press once on the drone and press and hold weight it takes a couple seconds for it to kick in then look on your phone and you should be viewing with the camera sees on the drone
I tried so much I believe there’s a problem with the remote ,because when I plugged it up to my computer on the DJI assistance 2 app it wouldn’t even load the firm ware from the remote ,, I’ve spend hours looking at videos trying to link the remote to my phone but I keep getting the same results , I’ll post a video

none of that matters if you can't make contact with the satellite ... so before you go flying make sure you note the trail of information you provided to DJI while setting up the app or else you end up sh#t creek like me and sit on a couch staring at a grand of drone equipment while trying to figure out how to get back in flight.... steaming at my ignorance at this point... and make sure you don't buy a second hand drone b4 you get the said info from the original owner...

How about me? I use rc with built in screen in my dji mini 3 I can’t set it up
I have not used the DJ mini three, but it’s got to be something to do with the connection on mine. I have to press it and then press and hold on both the controller and the drone and the drone has its back facing me to make sure that your application is working, you’re using the phone but you said you have a screen on yours so it should be even easier I’ll have to buy
