you deserve so much more than you have! I've only seen your fixing audio in premier video from a few months ago but came to your most recent just so you could see this. YOUR A LIFE SAVER!!! (new subbed)

Wow, thank you! RUclips really doesn't promote my videos when they are first uploaded at all. I get a few views, some likes, etc...then most of my videos just flatline for a while. Eventually some of them find their way into search & being suggested, but I haven't figured out why some are successful later and others aren't. It's a confusing struggle for sure! Thanks for watching, commenting and subbing! 👍

Can you possibly help me out with an audio issue I’m having with my canon r7 can’t seem to get the sound from the mic to the camera

Sorry I didn't get back right away. I have never used an R7, so I'm not sure what the issue would be. do mics automatically connect with the R7? Do you have to tell it to use an external mic? Maybe your external audio settings are set too low?

I’m trying to attach a wireless mic to my canon rt7 but for some reason the sound is still picking up from the camera and not the mic. Is it a settings in the camera that I should change to make it work?

@@jacobrearick5557 If you have a Canon Rebel T7 then it does NOT have a mic input. You are probably plugging it into the spot where a remote shutter would be plugged in.

@@ThisGuy yes, that’s what I was coming to a conclusion. So really there is no way to hoop up my mic to my RT7 camera? What can I do to hoop up a wireless mic to my camera and still have the mic on me that I can at least be 10-20 feet away and still get my voice on good quality.

@@jacobrearick5557 for a T7 you will need to record the audio to a separate device and sync the video (from camera) and audio (from recorder) in editing. You would hook the mic into a zoom H1 type device (instead of the camera itself), or even into your phone too I think and use the voice recorder app.
