The Oasi 610 GL is possibly my favourite motorhome of those that are currently available. I think it makes enormous sense in a small motorhome to have the bed come down from the ceiling over the living area like in this one. You don't use the living area when you are sleeping. This one has the garage at the rear which is essential for me, for my bicycles. That fibreglass monocoque chassis is a great thing because so many motorhomes develop problems with water ingress at the seams in the body. Finally I love Wingamm interiors, very simple but also stylish.
I love that pull down bed which should need very little maintenance. No crappy electric motor which will fail at the worst possible time just clever design. The extra bed at the back is very handy too. Might be a squeeze getting two bikes in the garage area🤔
I had heard that these are finally gonna be sold in my neck of the woods across the very large pond that is the Atlantic Ocean! lol And I’m glad because these are very nice little campers! Very nice 😊.
Alan, yes this company does have the Oasi 540 offered for sale in the US, sad it is not canada as well. Their use of space is Phenomenal and even though I am 70, the stairs would be manageable!
When the 540 came out, it was advertised by Wingamm as below the 80k€ mark. Two years ago, it was already over 100, now it's at 140. Not that I could afford it either way, and I'm sure it comes from selling them like hot cakes whenever there's availability, but still, crazy stuff.
Next time you are at a show with the manufacturers can you ask them under what circimstances do you want to see outside when you are on the toilet, or do you want other people to see in? Why don't they put a useful wall cupboard there instead of a window? Many manufacturers have a window in the wall, as well as a roof window. Why? Why? Why?. I agree the Wingamm is the best made camper by far.
When i rented one without a window as you mention, my kids couldn’t see a thing because of the the blind wall on the right. The door hadn’t a window either. So a window on the right is a must for me. And what’s not to like about the possebilty to open a window in the bathroom after you’re done with no 2….😂
No Wingmamms are available in the US. You should stop saying that. Their initial US model, the 540.1, is now years late and still pending certification and is not even the same vehicle because it is built on the gas Ram Promaster rather than the diesel Fiat Ducato chassis.
I saw your comment and thought that it was based on good evidence. I have been in contact with the owner who says that they are available. Maybe a misunderstanding, somewhere?
@@VanlifewithAlan thanks for fact checking! The Wingamms are "available for order," in the US, so technically, the owner can make this claim, yes. However, the units are not physically available. There are zero Wingamms that have been delivered to owners in the US since they are neither yet built nor US certified. The US releases are being covered in the gosmall.livelarge YT channel.
I haven’t liked or comment on a video for a long time , the first motor home is absolutely perfect !

An excellent description - thank you!

very nice inviting cosy louge, what would be better is if the rear bed could be remoevd to be an extra large garage
The interior reminds me of a bedroom in a care home...
I love it!
I like the 3rd bed, and how long is this model though
Hello Allan

Alan Heath have they stopped building the Micro on the Vw?
I think so, I have not seen one for a while!
Yes the 540 has replaced the VW micro a few years ago, based on Wingamm's own YT channel.
Brilliant Motorhome but very expensive unfortunately.
Nice for that size, to bad about the price!😆
skydancer 100%
Really nice designs especially the first one but ... yikes, what a pricetag!

Same van built under license for us market makes most us built motorhomes look very dated
