    That is very impressive. I would like that same platform built on top of my short wheelbase F-150.

    The Wingamm was sold in Italy for much, much less than the US price due to shipping. If they started making them in the US or Mexico, they could lower the cost to a much more affordable price and sell them like hotcakes. Use the Henry Ford way and make them affordable so everyone can get one.

      Sorry It's not worth it for 190,000 USD, especially not utilizing a true battery/solar system. I thought they were going to be a middle class affordable option.

      The trouble is that they do make the vans in Mexico, but they ship them to Italy to add the camper parts and then ship it back to the US. So it goes from a cool van you can buy in Europe, to an overpriced thing and the small size is not really a benefit here. I still like it, but every time I watch a video they have increased the price by thousands

      @Desperado3248 3 месяца назад +1

      ItsUS price makes it non competitive I the US. Way overpriced and under equipped. Unless it is made in the US it will never get a significant share of the market

    • @Erin-Thor
      @Erin-Thor 3 месяца назад

      One could argue that made in Italy is a big plus for Quality. Building them in the USA where we don’t care, and using the ‘Henry Ford way’ of faster production isn’t necessarily a good thing. 😊

    • @dalecummins689
      @dalecummins689 3 месяца назад +3

      @Erin-Thor Still wayyyy overpriced, drop it at least 70 thousand, making it about $120,000, and then it "may" get looked at by the masses.

    I think the target audiences are: solo travelers, couples, those with a doodle dogs, those with modest sized driveways, new RVers that are intimidated by huge RVs, those who want beauty and not just function, those that like to see a lot of friends around the country but want a place to retreat to that has all their stuff, those who want their RV to look more like an office to work on the road (and not like a bedroom), those that like innovation, those don’t mind meeting new people, those that have adult kids that can share it, those that want to bless their friends by loaning it out, those that want to sleep more than 2, those that want to sleep only 2 but not next to each other, those that don’t want convert sofa and bed twice a day, those that want to spend all day at the park down the road but the weather is spotty, those that want to park in friends driveways without taking over.

    I would ask you to consider some changes as you mature the model. 1) Remove propane. The propane locker could be used for housing lithium batteries and replace appliances with induction cooktop, 2 way refrigerator, etc. 2) Make cassette toilet optional and offer Laveo dry flush. I am a previous owner of an RV with cassette and I do not like it. 3) Make the swing bed arms longer on the upper bunk so that the bed lays lower and older owners are able to access without a ladder. Most buyers of this model will most likely be retirees. 4) Offer a lithium package with 3000W inverter, DC to DC charging, and at least 600AH or more of battery capacity.

    • @kenmcclow8963
      @kenmcclow8963 3 месяца назад +13

      Some newer vans have switched to heat and hot water running off the gas tank and switch to induction stove and a second alternator to charge the batteries, so propane is no longer needed. It will be nice when more are doing this along with the dry flush toilet eliminating the black tank and cassettes.

    • @kandicenagel5257
      @kandicenagel5257 3 месяца назад +4

      I agree, remove one tank and the existing stove top. I think one tank is required for the Trumacombi (heat hot water). Replace the existing cooktop with dual induction burners.

      For a lot of RV owners with dry flush toilets, they become secondary and used when campground toilets or public washrooms aren't available.

    Get rid of the curved counter, ditch one of the propane tanks or both for extra storage. Put solar system on it. Run heater off fuel tank. Natures head type of composting toilet.

    Not affordable for most people and those people with money don't want something like this. Not sure who is the target market. For those with low budget, just buy a 2nd hand van and custom-build it yourself.

    I forget the technical term but yes in the USA composite materials have had a long and bad History of coming *"unglued from itself"* especially in the very diifcult weather in the Southeast and South/Texas very hot and humid weather. If this changes that that would indeed be a revolution as many in the USA are going back to aluminum which was the original material used back in the 1960s for ahem *#glamping* ahem, yes #gulfstream #airstream 😊😊😊😊😊
