I can't wait for the day that sexuality doesn't mean anything, you are who you are and that is the way God made you. Good to know you are making friends and expanding your horizons. Thank you Joel and Keegan for taking us along.
Honestly, if you want this house, you say it is too expensive and has been on the market for about a year. This is the best indication that the price being asked is too high. It can not hurt to make an offer at the price you want to pay. It does not matter if you insult them, it is a starting point. I have been in property for about thirty years. You never get what you want if you do not ask. There are three usual endings: one, they say no. Two, they say no but counter, or they say yes. Most people will find their first offer turns out to be the best one they will get. Unless of course, you really are not ready to make the move.
True
I think Keegan’s current house is beautiful. And you’ve made the inside together. And he always refers to it as ours. So that’s really special.
I hate networking too. It often just feels so fake and exhausting. I hope something good comes from the expo for you. That bit about the lanyard, yikes! Thanks again for taking us along with you.
Vlog Joel is my favorite version of you. This is like a catch up with a friend over FaceTime
I really like the window sitting nook in that hotel room. What a view!🏙️
You said about Keegan’s hotel room. You should try a suite (on the Marina facing side) in the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Any room between 40th and 50th floor, the views are absolutely spectacular, as is the infinity pool in the rooftop garden on the 57th floor. It’s certainly not cheap. I will usually go for 10 nights, spend the first 8 nights on Orchard Road then move to the MBS for 2 nights. Lovely way to end a visit.
Hi Joel (and Keegan)...love your vlogs. I have just read "The Switch"...loved it ...and for the character of Jackson, who lives in Yorkshire ....I visualised Keegan and it made the character come to life. Love to the 6 of you..kids and dogs included....James xxxxxx
Nine days left Joel and London footage so you are great
9:27 It’s a nice, cozy room.
Been loving all of vlogvember so far! The cruise sounded like so much fun and glad you guys got some time to relax. Sounds like you had a productive day at the world travel market too, it’s so cool that there’s people there from so many different places. I can’t believe Vlogvember is almost over already, but I’m looking forward to the rest of the videos!!! 🌈❇️😁❤️
Wonderful vlogs! I'm impressed by all of the things you've been able to keep up with! I really enjoy seeing all of the scenery and going along with you to see the coffee shops, trains, back home.... I moved from a larger city to a rural area so I can understand loving where you are now -- but still missing the heart beat of the city.
SO gutted we missed eachother at WTM 😢
I know!! SO close, but so far 🥲
Loving Vlogvember Joel!!!! Thanks for your efforts of doing it everyday! 😋
Thanks for taking us along, I had no idea that networking events like that took place. ❤❤
It's good that you're young and have the energy that you have, Joel! And I'm glad that the day was so productive! But remember to take care of yourself too ( :
Congratulations on the 7LBS… Everyone you need to celebrate it. Whoooo Hooooo 😊GO Joel
I love it when you’re in London, there’s so much to see, just like NY. 🥰 It’s always about the free stuff at conventions, especially chocolate! And I’m leaving next week for a 2-week Danube River cruise to see a bunch of Christmas Markets in Hungary, Austria, and Germany! 🎄 You guys should definitely try one! ❤
Thanks!
Thank you Dave! ❤️
I think we are spoiled because we get to see you everyday now! It will be hard going back to once a week! x 😊
This may sound weird to you but I love your vlogs because they are comforting to me and a distraction, from a very stressful situation I’m dealing with. Watching you and Keegan’s cute, fun and homey life and your love, really is enjoyable to me. Mary sound weird but, there it is. lol
Aw I'm glad you enjoy watching them! I hope you're able to de-stress soon!!
Keegan’s got the guns!🤪
Wow that hotel room is lovely. Interesting convention hope you managed to get what you wanted out of it 😊.
world Travel Market looks like a tremendous venue to visit. What a huge place! Can't wait to see London all decked out for Christmas. NYC is looking very Christmasy now! Thanks for sharing this video. I hate to think of Vlogvember coming to an end. You really have done great!
Joel I wish times had been different for me when I was younger. The world is changing and in some good ways, I have children from previous life but now in a same sex relationship with the love of my life. My prayers for your love and life, I enjoy your post thanks. :)
Enjoyed you blog.
I will never comprehend the prejudices of some people. The concept that you are gay men should be an absolute moot point. The idea that you are in a strong, loving relationship should be a celebration. Rather than a point of contention. Let alone a threat of harming you. The concept boggles the mind.
As someone who recently networked semi-successfully in French, I love a chance to roam around and talk to people.
Loving these daily vlogs!! I look forward to vlogvember every year and taking us along
looks like you had fun!!
Perfect little family ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing this vlog. Have an amazing day! Cheers.
❤ love the vlog ❤ and the pups too
I enjoyed your time in London 😊🎉
Joel, I totally agree with you about networking. I friggin hate it!! How do you get over the anxiety 😭😭
I hope you visited the Vegas stand. We would welcome you both with open arms.❤
Maybe there's a creative way to fund or mortgage that house you love. Hope so. Also noticed Keegan's site change to Keegan & Joel. Looking forward to its content.
I love your vlogs and your trip looked amazing. I used to live in NYC and ❤️ that city. Are you still doing vlogs with Leah?
Lovely hotel Joel. Could you include the details for future possibilities for those of us O/S that might one day be looking for somewhere to stay in London? - Ta! 🙂
Keegan and you are so awesome as a team! Imagine if you two were on ‘The Amazing Race’.
What a great idea. Strength, intelligence and an ‘edge’ to them as a pair. That combined with determination would make them winners.
Sorry to put on my train nerd hat but Elizabeth Line has nothing to do with the Tube. It’s a separate rail line with its own timetable.
I'd put an offer on the table for the house. If it's been on the market for a year, then either the price is too high or there are other repairs or considerations that buyers don't want to deal with. Price is negotiable. If the house doesn't sell by spring, you'll be the first call they make to negotiate with you. I put an offer on my house and the seller wouldn't budge. So, after 6 months they'd let the taxes go deliquent, couldn't pay them and rather than have the house default, they came down a little and I paid the taxes. Everyone walked away happy with the deal.
6:57 Nice to know you dodged that bullet :)
Plan a trip to Southeast Asia! Philippines, Bali, South Korea and then Japan..you won't regret it.😊😊😊
Joel is not a sigher, he’s a Mess-sigher 😂
😂
Joel are you doing another Christmas shop with your mom?
You look so handsome in spite of not getting much sleep. Good genes.
Joel you look fabulous no matter a few pounds. Beautiful hotel room! Just loving these daily videos, know it’s a ton of work so thank you! ~Cara 😊
8:25 I agree, best to stay in free countries, I know that limits us to 50% of the countries in the world, but you know, a lot of blood has been shed for us to be free, so, it's priceless. I definitely try to avoid places where LGBT is oppressed and that includes red states here in the USA. 🙂 (and if I did go to a red state, I would want to stay in more cosmopolitan areas, that is to say, the larger cities. Unless I'm going to a national park in a red state....but in the latter case I would try to spend as much as I could at the federal facility and not locally)
I've been through a few Vlogvembers with you, and I must say you're doing so much better energy-wise.
Knowing the house has been on the market for a long time, says alot about the price and the price compared to other properties in that area. So if it's still there when you're truly ready and at a lower price, then it was meant to be your home.
Also, I always shake my head with all the videos done in these problematic countries, pushing these places as a wonderful place to visit. Yeah, maybe for these straight, "somewhat douchebaggy" content creators.
Anyway, thanks guys...❤
Thanks so much Kev! I definitely feel more energised this time!! Maybe I'll even carry on into December... we will see!
@@TheJoelWood ..omigosh!!...lol🤪
Maybe you and Keegan are having a hard time sleeping because you both have alot on your minds? I don't know. Anyway, it's good seeing you here again today.😊❤
What hotel did you stay in?
100 Shoreditch!
Joel, I just found out about the formula for recovering from jet lag...it takes one day for every hour difference!!!
Interesting that we still have to keep in mind we're gay at venues like this. There is an annual travel show in LA that I attend and I notice that gay travel companies don't show at these events which is disappointing. I mentioned this fact to a couple of gay oriented travel companies. Also the city of West Hollywood/Beverly Hills should show at these events as well. If NYC can show so should WEHO and BH. Gays have a lot more disposable income. At least places like Disneyland and Disneyworld/EPCOT know that fact and there are annual gay oriented celebrations at their parks. All of these travel promoters should go after the gay community and their spending ability. We need to be represented.
As much as it’s nice to see certain countries being called out, Florida needs a special mention with respect to how they’re endangering queer lives.
Florida is very gay friendly. I have been going to Florida for decades and never had a problem. Orlando is very gay and Fort Lauderdale is very gay and Miami and Key West. There are over a million gay people in Florida and over a million gay people travel to Florida every year for vacation with no problems.
Ron DeSantis is very gay friendly and has gay friends. He just does not want drag queen story book time in grade schools or gay books for first and second and third graders to read. And I being gay agree with him.
No gay person in Fl is in danger, it all started when transgender and drag lobbies decided to introduce it to grade school kids with sexually explicit books and shows. The rest is false
@@WhoGoesThere-ru9wpRON DESANTIS gay friendly 😂😂😂😂
Central Florida here and Ron Disaster is decidedly NOT gay friendly. However, Florida has areas that are very gay friendly.
DAMN I WASNT NUMBER 1 BUT HOPE YOU GUYS ARE GREAT COME TO MYRTLE BEACH. JUDSON!!!!!!!!
8:15 Even though queer people are no longer considered criminals in India, travelling…is a complex issue. Asia (with a few exceptions) can be tricky.
depends on the region. You can see tons of foreign gay couples on the beaches in Goa, the locals don't care. One of the biggest designers that was local made it big in Europe and he and his French partner lived in Goa and the locals all adored them. He helped out in design ideas for the festivals. When he died, the entire village, which is mostly catholic were there for his service. The catholic church in Goa also gave him a big send off, even though he lived his life as an openly gay man with a partner. He was very much loved. For the Christian Goans, it is "live and let live", there absolutely no hatred for gay people.
It would be problematic for the Muslim communities in India, but still not as bad as the middle east.
Joel…that hotel room was not big. On average, London hotels are much smaller than most American hotel rooms. It is just like the housing.
Weighing yourself? Why you look amazing
Perhaps the house was the cause of your anxiety episode, with your hand trembling, which you mentioned in the last video...
I would not have an issue with visiting a place that had nominal illegality but with no prosecutions (eg Singapore until recently). However, I would never visit a place that actively persecuted. Even if it was not an issue for me (eg travelling alone) I would have to factor in the lives of the people who lived there and had no escape. Or whether my obviously gay (I am told) presence would cause trouble for locals. Thank you for the video!
I missed the part about "countries I would never visit."
💙
List of countries (states in u.s) who anti gay rights also have or trying revoke rights for women
GOOD for both of you with regards to the lanyard situation. Why wear swag from a hatful nation. Glad that you found a pair of lanyards that does not have the "baggage". Having traveled extensively throughout out the middle east, you are not missing anything, it is all glitzy shopping malls and hotels. Seen that been there. I think that a lot of content creators have given the themselves a bad rap by wanting a "freebie" to be featured on their channel. I think that the RUclips channel "Cruise with Ben & Dave" has the cruise industry pretty well covered. That always mention that they pay for their own tickets. Las Vegas is good, we live here and it wasn't until about 2010 that Las Vegas finally got on board with marketing to gay travelers. It wasn't gay hostile, hardly but their marketing push and many venues aim towards and still do, the 30ish white hetero male with lots of money to spend. Fortunately, now gays are welcomed with open arms. It's all about the money.
I do remember you talking about the expo last year. Unless I’m confusing you for another RUclipsr.
As to you both having bad sleeps.........take it from our 32 year relationship.........buy an American king sized bed. Best thing ever for a relationship !!
Networking is okay for me, but stupid icebreakers and exercises like that make me insane! That is NOT my thing!
I hate it too. I have social anxiety. 😢.
2:03 lol, you guys just need electric cars, then no killing of the planet is involved 🙂
Joel New York City has large beautiful hotel rooms you just have not stayed at the right place. I guess they're too much money but there are big beautiful hotel rooms in New York City believe me.
Oh come on Joel the place's you stayed in in Las Vegas and Los Angeles were far far nicer than that room.
