Hi Bill, you are absolutely correct about the missing information. The price is fluid - engine price varies with the exchange rate, options vary with almost every single pilot I know, but I promise you if you call Abid, he will have a quote for you in no time flat. About the fuel consumption... I have an AR-1 with a 914 engine and it sips about 4 - 4.6 gallons of automotive fuel on my regular trips. When I fly on a long cross country flight and my cruise speed is between 80 and 90 KIAS the fuel consumption jumps to 5.5 gallons per hour. You can easily plan on legs of about 2:00 hours, and at about 2 h 15 minutes you should be looking for a place to refuel if you are on a cross country flight. To tell you the truth my bladder has less endurance than the gyro... :) Manufacturers usually have this data for the various engines, but even better source is social media - Facebook, etc. - where you can meet pilots with real life experience... and they are willing to share it... believe me... :)
Looking at the website, 912 and 914 Rotax power available. Are there plans for the new 915is? I think these Gyro's are great, and want one, but have 2 reservations - Payload and Speed. I don't need them to go 180Mph, but for regional trips need it to cruise at at least 100Kph IAS. Also, payload is a factor as I want to bring a few days worth of luggage, and though some offer some space for luggage behind the seats, I've yet to see a stow away bin or luggage compartment. In my mind, to be more practical, greater Payload and Speed is on the wish-list. Also, I have no interest in putting one together, and want a certified pre-built Gyro ready to go. Best Regards --
They already delivered one with the 915is, if I am not mistaken. Mine is with a 914 engine and I comfortably cruise in it at 85 KIAS (157.4 kph). When I crossed from Florida to California a year ago my back seat was occupied by a very large duffel bag full of everything I thought I need for the 5 fay trip, then some. Few months later I participated for few days at an AOPA fly-in, so I brought camping equipment, etc. Also if you are not willing to get greasy, you still do not have to necessarily look for a certified machine and pay premium price. The one thing missing in most these videos is price, MPG and distance flown before refueling. I would think that would be important!

They want you to ask for it.
Prices CHANGE - and become outdated! The best place to get a price is from the manufacturer!
Thanks for the review! How is the head room in the front seat? I flew the AutoGyro Cladius and my head was touching the canopy.
Thomas Anderson what do you expect when you’re 6’ 8”! LOL
@@daisybeagle6259, I am only 6'4" and I have the same problem... :)
Daisy Beagle Hahahah that would be a head room issue in anything. I’m only 6’1”.
What does a trailer cost for a gyro?
I have a 32" Diamond Cargo with 9'6" interior for my AR-1 and it was $14K direct from Diamond in June 2022.
