Yup. Ever since they were 12. He stayed after the Farros left even though Zac and Taylor were/still are best friends. Even though I miss the old line-up, this 3 piece is the tightest they’ve ever been. They’re all so close to each other more than ever.
I really hope things actually work out for them long term. A friend of mine was expressing skepticism about it, to which I replied that they’ve been through hell together. Members leaving, divorce, the Jeremy situation, Hayley coming to terms with the decline in her mental health, Hayley being called so many names and having her character attacked, touring, fame, etc. and through it all, he was loyal. He stuck by her and pushed her to keep going. They’re both older and much more mature now too. Its actually a pretty beautiful story.
Even though I miss the pass members of Paramore I am so happy that Taylor still stuck with Hayley and never left like I'm so grateful for Taylor cause idk what I would do without Paramore tbh

This is so raw and I love it. It's crazy to think that Taylor is the last guy in the band. But I think that it says so much about Taylor. He has made Paramore so much more and he's half the reason they have been so successful. This next album is gonna be gold I can feel it. I have so much faith and love in them. This makes me cry but Paramore is gonna be a continued success. It means so much that he has chose to keep going with Hayley because this band means so much to me and for so many others. The wristband shes wearing in this video looks like one of those anti-sickness bands, my grandmother used to wear them when we went on road-trips so she wouldn't get sick. Hayley must deal with sea sickness. Its also really refreshing to see an artist speak so raw and from the heart and show that they are humans too and they deal with the same emotions as us.
Around 2:57 it sounds like Hayley's about to cry and it made me rlly sad bc she sounds so emotional and her and Taylor dealt w/ a lot this past year but Paramore always come back stronger (the world can't keep them down amirite)

I already loved this speech but now it hits me so hard after hearing "26" and reading her essay. "Don't let being sad or being upset about something take your hope away from you ever" ("hold onto hope if you got it, don't let it go for nobody") "This past year is a year I never wanna relive again" (which she describes in the essay). It's weird to say that it all makes sense now, even though it already did when I first watched this. I'm baffled about how there's just so much life behind the things artists say on stage. I probably should listen more.
You can see how hard she's trying to hold everything in. You can hear it in her voice too. I love these two and hope that they'll always remain the way they are to each other now and forever

You can see the care Taylor has for Hayley because he wanted to keep going and it was a bonus that Zac came back when Hayley throught all was gone. Taylor supported Hayley through hard and bad times. No matter the circumstances, Taylor will always care for Hayley if they are on stage or not, that's the whole reason Taylor is Hayley's rock that helps the band progress into who they are today, it is all thanks to Taylor. I recently saw them on January 14th at Genting arena Birmingham in 2018 when Zac came back, it was the best night of my life because it was my first time, I have never seen them perform live so it was amazing to watch them and see the care they have for the whole band as well as themselves and the millions of fans who watch them perform every night.
I’ve been getting more and more into paramore recently and I had no idea Taylor was just so genuinely wonderful, and I’m so happy i can come back and wish I could tell them it gets better! Like we never know what’s around the corner, their journey as a band and personal journeys are so beautiful

Hayley’s grandpa is also a singer and he wrote her grandma a love song called Friends Or Lovers, decades ago. Taylor secretly recorded her grandpa singing it and spliced it into the background of Crystal Clear and surprised Hayley with it 🥺
I always liked this song, but just dismissed it as a simple 'love song'. I now appreciate the real depth and emotion here, it is a love song, but not a said-and-done-before romantic one, but one to friendship. And how some of the best people in our lives aren't always our family, or partner, but our close friends, our 'chosen family', and how certain relationships we thought little of can blossom into something really special, and the friendship of Taylor and Hayley really shows that. Long may they and the rest of the Paramore clan keep doing what they're great at!!
