If you Google their two names almost every photo of them he has an arm around her. Not in a possessive way, more gently protective. It feels so obvious now looking at photos of them throughout the last 20 years that he's always loved her. I love their love story so much man
I understand people shipping them and wishing they were a couple but... man, I'm glad they're friends. I can't say about Taylor but I'm sure Hayley needs that. Friendship is just, objectively, more stable than love, less ups and downs, less dependent on passion and more on loyalty. Don't get me wrong, if they were to be together, I'd be super happy for them, but as it is, I'm just so glad they've got that friendship.
