When I found dusty, I was truly heartbroken. Seeing a species go extinct is tragic, but I found the loyalty of her keeper to be really heartwarming. At least she won’t die alone.
I know this comment is a year old but I understand your sentiment to the dear old girl. I make a point to bring her and her handler food and drink as well as completely buy out his inventory and or sell him stuff until I'm giving away valuable items. I feel a bittersweet pang whenever I hear Dusty's mournful cry echoing across theAshland. .
Especially if you rode them often in Morrowind... It really is so sad... And the fact that, in new games, we'll never again hear "Why walk when you can ride?"
The fact that Bethesda took the lore in a direction to truly wreck the continent and culture of Morrowind really is gut wrenching.
I know this was 2 years ago but I hope that the things are just very endangered and hiding out in some unknown place like maybe a not yet found island far off the coast with a ton of the silt striders on it

When I'm playing skyrim I always put your CCC videos as background noise. And I always end up laughing at the same puns over and over again, even though I saw those videos a million times.

I do the same. It's so relaxing and interesting to listen to while playing. It's grown to the point where I get uncomfortable with the silence if I don't have my laptop up running his videos!

The ash spawn at the graveyard is there unnaturally, do the sidequests and you'll be told that they are being lured to the area by the wizards enemy.

This is why I love Skyrim. Even in 2018, people are still just utterly captivated by and taken aback by the atmosphere, the story, and the sheer excitement brought upon by this wonderful masterpiece of a purely artistic expression which we call a game. If somebody can be inspired by the game so much as to create this beautiful, informative video many years after its release, that just proves that Skyrim is timeless. I can't imagine how much time and love you put into the production of each and every video detailing the lore of The Elder Scrolls. Thank you for making these videos- I've been binge watching them all day. You're a special kind of RUclipsr.
It's much easier to enjoy Skyrim when you don't have to wander the near-empty map, or kill bandots for gold, etc.... & just sit back to watch all the things you were supposed to be looking for. That's not even talking about all the cut content, abandoned plots, & removed features that past games had
Not saying Skyrim isn't without some redeeming qualities, but looking back I enjoyed Oblivion much more & even Morrowind, old as it is, stands up pretty well against it which is not ideal

There is a third location where you will always find Spriggans that escaped Red Mountain's corruption, The Headwaters of Harstrad. Also, the the shores of the isle of giant nirnroot also contain the largest concentration of pearl oysters I've seen anywhere in the game. Thank you for revealing additional East Empire pendant locations. I've found and sold 10 so far for an easy 5 grand but you just gave me at least 4 more. Thanks :)

Hey, Camel, just writing to help out with one of the things you mentioned in the video, the boat you talk about at 43:30 is actually there because the crew are enthralled by the Water Stone, they will tell you that they came ashore for supplies and don't remember anything after it until you freed the Stone.
43:06 There is a way to get on to the boat. You can either use a potion of waterwalking, or Ahzidals Boots of Waterwalking. The boots are obtained from the quest "Unearthed," where you fund an exhibition in Kolbjorn Barrow ran by Ralis Sedarys. You will enevitably have the choice to kill or spare Ralis after he's been (sorta possessed) by Ahzidal and trying to resurrect the dragon priest. It's a cycle of kill the draugr, search for missing miners and locate pieces/solve puzzles for enchanted gear. There isn't anything on the boat, but still, it's fun to walk ontop of the water while confusing npc's ai. :)
The thing that I love about solstheim is that they used music from Morrowind for it
I absolutely love juxtaposition of the nearly poetic, romantic language that Camel uses verses the amazing dad joke puns.

The nostalgia from hearing the call of dusty made me actually cry, Morrowind was my first elder scrolls game, and will always be my favorite and the fact dusty is the last silt strider makes me so sad, i love silt striders, rest in peace dusty...

It is wild how the noise a giant insect makes can be so calming and nostalgic. Like you said, that sound meant safety -- if you hear a silt strider's song; you are either in town or drawing near after a long and dangerous walk... usually wishing you had ridden that silt strider after the latter.

I have played Skyrim many times and indeed I am going through yet again, but now, I will have my 'eyes open' even more than I do and look for what you have pointed out with your wonderful story telling. I had no idea how much I was missing or rather not finding
Good thing I just picked up a 6 pack. Time to settle in for this nearly hour and a half episode.
I like playing along with these. It's like a guided tour and everything is new to me because I've been playing since it came out and only done walkthroughs for the daedric quests. Glad I waited. Not trying to brag. Skyrim isn't really a game you NEED walkthroughs for and I definitely used a guide at least twice for all three dark souls.

It's so hard for me to play this game but watching these videos make me want to go back and play, I can't wait until the next elder scrolls comes but when it does I can kiss 4 or 5 years of my life away but it's worth it.

The desiccated corpse near the exploding spiders about 25 mins in is not a metal head. In the “rock on” symbol the thumb is positioned on the nails of the middle two fingers. When the thumb is positioned outward away from the palm, it’s the American Sign Language sign for “I love you”... sort of heartbreaking considering there are two corpses.

The abandoned ship isn't a mystery. The crew has been enslaved by Miraak and are working at the Water Stone. If you talk to them, they tell you as much.

Everyone and their grandma probably just pointed this out, but, regarding the empty ship and boats at 42:50 : when you free the Water Stone and all the people working and chanting around it, you'll notice some of them are running away towards the shore. If you follow them, they'll reach the boats and start some dialogue saying that they area already late, and "Why did we take such a long shore leave?" and some more on the same line. Apparently they don't remember being under Miraak spell and working on the Water Stone, and they say they'll just go back to the ship. I've waited a bit but they actually never do go back, they just stay there near the boats and look puzzled.
