I’m not 100% sure what you’re experiencing, but it may be that the white or black (used when creating the texture brush) may be off a little. This happens to me every now and then-when I’ve double tapped for white or black and thought the tool gave me one or the other, but gave me a very light green or something. It may be worth checking the colors to ensure that the hex value of white was/is #ffffff and black was/is #000000. Best wishes and thanks for your comment 🤗❤️

One thing, when the brush is done according to your tutorial it paints always in square patterns
