- Recently switched over from clip studio paint to Procreate . I love clip studio on my Wacom cintiq but just not as portable as the iPad. So made the switch and little by little I’m getting the hang of things . One thing I did notice was the difference in creating a custom brush vs clip studio. By no means am I an expert , there is tons of brushes to purchase or ways to create them, this is just me sharing with fellow curious cats like myself. I will probably share more tips here and there as I progress on my knowledge of the program. Thank you for watching !!

Nice video ! I’ve tried doing the brush ,but when I import the canvas ,the background doesn’t turn black…. It’s not working. If you know how to solve this please leave a comment.✌️

Hey there !! Could it be it under shape option, the check rotation. Makes sure it's all the way to the right , to follow stroke 👍

Making sure the azimuth under shape is flipped on helped me a lot
Ummmm not sure if it’s an update. After I import the scales in the shape section I’m not able to make the white background go away. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hey thanks so much for the brush! It looks great!
But i have a little problem:
the brush only works on the canvas - i generated it on (or if i Duplikate this spezific canvas)
but if i open a new canvas - the brush looks like my 1 scale pattern and not like the snake - as if all the settings were off
BUT in the testing-canvas in the brush settings it DOES still work.. but NOT on the real canvas
Do u know whats the problem or what to do?

Hey there! Thanks for watching. So is the brush acting more like a stamp brush scale, just the 1 set of scales? Perhaps check your spacing , try to see if they are close enough together to create the brush continuous. Hope im understanding the issue correctly. thanks

its like this:
the brush works on the canvas i created it.
If i duplicate said canvas - its still working too
But if i open a new canvas (also sqare) and use the brush - its like the brush has 0 settings
But if i look into the settings of the brush - they are correct - and also the test-canvas in the settings works - but not on the main canvas 😅

I have the (bad) habbit of constantly rotating my canvas around... and it seems the brush only works at a certion position.. so i hav to rotate my canvas 90°, and THEN it works 😂
So i am happily using the brush now. I just need to keep my "rotating" under control 🤣

The brush works fine while editing, but turns sideways when i go to use it! Any idea what I did,
check your brush shape orientation , makes sure it follows the stroke. Let me know if you solved it. Thanks

There's no istreamline in my procreate pls help me, it only shows jitter and Fall off :( what to do?

When I click on the shape source, the canvas doesn’t turn black for me. So the copied canvas just looks like the entire white canvas. Could u help.?
you might have to tap it with two fingers or double tap.

Idk why but streamline doesn´t work for me...like I go into stabilization but nothing changes when I mess around with the settings
did find out why? Try the brush on the preview screen with a curve , then try to see if the streamline changes !

I did it though somehow with no background but don’t know how this is going to work when I wanna print it. Still this is amazing and will help my tattoo preparation a lot! Thank you 😊🙏🏼

@@My_Ideas_Never_Die Well, It started mostly from the beginning, when you changed the drawing guide. It was different for me, and when you went to paste the image to the brush it just became an image. So when I adjusted the brush it just became a bunch of small images instead of when you tapped it the backround went away and the black lines became white etc.
@@AnheruShiroi The drawing guide , along with the Drawing guide adjustment setting can be found under the wrench option , on the Canvas tab. Or if you tap on your drawing layer, make sure the drawing assist is checked, just couple of ways to activate it.
If you are getting still images on your brush, its because the image need to be changed to transparent, usually taping the image on Shape editor with two fingers will change your image to transparent.
I checked the tutorial and seems to be working with 5.2 version. The only change i see is the "streamline" option is under stabilization . Let me know if you need more help!
