Thanks a bunch! I tried to make a top hat for my first attempt but I couldn’t figure out how to stop it. A few months later, I watched the video and I can now stop it, I made a popsicle, and now can actually make 3d lines as shown, thanks!
you can double click for continue mode or you can hold down on the button and then release it. by holding down on the button that should help to prevent you from hitting the reverse button (I am assuming that is what you mean by the stop button as the forwards button is also the stop button when in continuous mode).
complex items are made flat and then joined. If you are trying to draw in the air pull up, stop wait 4~6 sec for the filament to harden then keep going from that point. Wait for the filament to start coming out before moving. Again thought complex stuff is made out of flat parts. In the air drawing is a skill that needs practice and patients. Also once you have a base ie joined some flat pieces together and then draw on the object.
As soon as i press the button for the heat the little screen just turns off, and a couple seconds later its back , i try it again and again same thing every r time HELP PLEASE😢
Hi @ShyGuy679 sorry to hear that you are having an issue with one of our pens. It sounds like you don't have enough amps. Our pens need 5V, 2Amps less than 2Amp and they will do what you are talking about ie reboot due to lack of power. Are you using the included power supply or something else? I could be some other issue. I suggest reaching out to help@scrib3dpen.com so we can diagnose your problem and get it fixed one way or another.
PLA takes 6 sec to harden ABS takes 3 sec to harden. Draw up stop the pen and hold for 3~6 sec before clicking the forward button again to continue. If you watch at around 2:50 were it details how to draw in the air.
There is a PLA setting and ABS setting, PLA tops out at 180, ABS setting tops out at 220C. ABS on a 3D pen is 200~220. 3D pens do not need to go up to 240C to extrude plastic, some printer also operate at 200~220 range.
you can find it on Amazon (www.amazon.com/dp/B08HM3X3D3?pd_rd_i=B08HM3X3D3&pd_rd_w=GNcBn&pf_rd_p=51cf0d17-50cf-4c89-b1a7-606703cfac11&pd_rd_wg=mrHm5&pf_rd_r=AANSQQXXZQ30Z4BRV7AB&pd_rd_r=dcb86a00-48ec-4e21-ab33-eed6f42b9151)
hold down on the reverse button for around 30 sec so the filament then start to reves ou of the pen. If you are still having issue please reach out to help@scrib3dpen.com

Pretty great for welding multiple parts of a 3D print together.
Thanks I just got my pen today
thanks!
Same
Just a question, is the motor a brushless motor or a regular motor
DC motor, not brushless
Constantly hitting the stop button on this pen . It looks ergonomic but in practice it is not

😅
how do you change the filament?
How do you make the filament stand up? It just falls straight down. We can’t make anything 3d.

Can you press and hold rather than having it feed the filament out continuously?
if you press the button it will start and if you press it again it will stop. holding the button and releasing it will not have an effect.
@@Scrib3DPen this makes it impossible to do anything with it. These are trash
It doesn’t stop where I want to do. How can I control it?
i think press the forward button again. I just got mine too. ill watch the video again
click one to start the pen and once to stop the pen. Same button.
Thx for this
Trying to order this as a gift, what's the difference between yalls advanced pen and regular one
The Adv has more control, is more ergonomic and has better flow.

hi, can this pen go beyond 180c? ABS usually melt at 240c as far as I know. My pen is topped at 180c

@@Scrib3DPen thank you
How do I turn it off
unplug it, if it's left plugged in and the motor is not on then it will go to sleep after 5min ie heater will turn off.
@@Scrib3DPen thank youu!
