I got one to play around with, but mainly to try and fix some prints from the printer. I had an extra magnetic build pad ($10.00 on Amazon) and so using that with the pen allowed for easy adhesion and peeling off. Loved messing with it so far and it will put a use to the extra filament that is left over from spools.
Wecgot ny son one for xmas it works great and our filament wasn't tangled like that it was nicely placed in each color individual packaging so def looking out for the consumer hints making it a even better product thanks fir the content
One of the best surfaces I have used is painters tape. You can easily draw something, then lay down painters tape over it. Now you can still see the stencil and peel off the plastic pretty easily. I find that it has a good balance between adherence and easy removal.
Then maybe you can help me I’m having a problem is it’s not pausing when I don’t want to extrude filament. So I have to waste or can you tell me how to make it press button work? Like when I press forward it just goes forward when I release it stops? Because it just keeps either going forwards or backwards on the filament 😅
How is he able to see the temp cause I can’t when I click the arrow on the side I see nothing on the little screen when I don’t I only see PLA but no I watched this whole video and it never turned green what do I do
It seems Mr. Smarty here is printing on paper, thinking that plastic won't bond to it. 🤡 Well, news flash, it will! And it will also bond very well with fabric. Instead, you could use plastic on plastic, or how about laminating the paper first? Another option is to use glass. Glass would be an effective material to use because it won't stick too hard to it and will still form a bond.

sorry but that 5 dollar pen is a fake one made in china that will only last like 5 minutes, i know from experience

What type of drawing medium works best? Canvas paper, wax paper, parchment paper, silicone Matt? I have the PIKA3D Super 3D PRINTING PEN

Use laminated paper or plastic sheet cover on top of your design so it doesn’t stick.

You should NOT touch the tip or freshly extruded material. Those will hurt a good bit.
I wouldn't leave the 5yo alone, but she definitely could do it.

You need to put a plastic film on the paper.
the little roll of pla it comes with isnt near enough for 99% of people so uhh, ask your uncle for his leftover 3d printer pla and you're set 👍
