I'd really love to see a comparison between these and Sorbothane hemishires. I suspect the pucks use a very similar material and are much more expensive. I've used Sorbothane under loudspeakes and record players and it performs very well. It's used to isolate everything from microscopes and telescopes and heavy equipment.
Love your mixes. Record A/B example, otherwise placebo effect is in play. Stands likely more important than pucks vs. just placing speaks on meter bridge/shelf/desk.
Man I have 2 Yamaha hs8 on a 80yr old cherry desk. Right against the wall, sucks. At some point don’t we revert to and talk about what the ROOM actually IS? Love these reviews. Let’s discuss.
The room accounts for a lot, especially if you're planning on releasing mixes commercially. But I bet there's a large percentage of "commercial" or mainstream music these days that's recorded partially or completely in home studio setups. Billie Eilish comes to mind. Maybe they're sent off to someone to mix, but who could afford a day rate at Blackbird or Ocean Way? Happy New Year my dude!
I recently put an ISO-200 under my sub. Very Nice! (Borat voice)
high five! (Borat voice) 😂 Happy New Year!
Might be exactly what I need. Thanks, Justin! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year buddy!
H.B., dude! I just stumbled onto your channel. You won a new subscriber.
Thanks Mark! And welcome to our little corner of the interwebs! Happy New year!

I'll have to do some research on these. Might be a good future video. Thanks @jaspers49! Happy New Year!
