- Here is a video of me building my miter saw station. I used 2x4s and 3/4inch plywood. It took around 6 hours and cost about $100 in lumber. I plan on making a part 2 video when I expand on the miter saw station and make it better.
Tools I Use and Recommend:

Superb quality throughout, easy to assemble. I found the saw to be highly accurate and a delight to use (I am a homeowner using this saw for various projects). I attached the saw to a folding mobile stand to save space and that works great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxPeGkHOMe05FySypTOvYumxMn-xi39oRe as well. However, you have to be sure the saw is securely locking in position before collapsing the stand. I've had many of the brands over the years and have come to point where I only buy Bosch, the extra money is a small price to pay for the quality and ease of use. Treat yourself to the best.
Life Saver.. Here I was thinking I would need to spend $400 bucks on wood to outfit my garage with a nice miter station.. No explanation needed brother! But to see it done with 2x4's and no sponsored expensive tools was refreshing!!!
Keith Barnes Jr Thanks a lot my friend!!!
@@CalebsShop Do you have an instagram account? I am about 90% done with the build and want to shout you out for making it super simple!!!
Awesome, love how you attached the 2x4 to your miter saw. I had never through of doing that.
Todd Braun thanks and it’s my favorite jig! 👍🏽
That tip just saved me time and money. Alone worth the price of admission.
Good job, your a clever lad! Enjoy watching clever people put things together in ways other might not think of doing it.
I love it, simple, fast and good funtionality. Thank you for sharing.
Watching you use that table saw and seeing it rock like that was terrifying.
Nice work! I need a miter saw station soon. Waiting for part 2!
Twisted Boards Yeah the station is really handy to have!
Uncomplicated and suitably functional. Thank you.
Parabéns simples e rápido , objetivo muito bom 👍🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Genuis. And good editing too!
thanks so much! 👍🏽
Nicely done

Pretty slick, man.

very nice caleb!
Well done young man, y'all got it done in no time...
Bill on the Hill...:~)
thanks my friend! 👍🏽
Kudos Caleb - nicely done! As a huge fan of the KISS Principle, I see I am but a journeyman and you are a Master! 👍🏻👍🏻 Also like the pocket hole jig - you have just ‘obsoleted’ my Kreg, brother! You’ve got another subscriber.
PS: Clever move using your miter saw on the floor to build the stand. Nice touch! 😉
thanks so much my friend! 👍🏽
Damn - that's the saber saw that ate Cleveland!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you Caleb.
you are welcome thanks for watching! 👍🏽
Nice
Hi everybody. Good tools + good skills = wonderful job 😁 hahaha congratulations very good video 👏🤝👍🇺🇸🍷🍻.
One more time very good job and very good video congratulations God bless you and God bless the USA. 👍🇺🇸🤝👏👍🇺🇸
thanks so much! 👍🏽
In the beginning when you were making cuts, you had a 2x4 attached to your miter saw so you can clamp a stop block to it. How did you attach it to your miter saw?
Whats that pocket hole jig you're using at 2:05? Looks nice, clamping built right in and maybe not $150 like the kreg ones.
Chris Winder Yeah it was like $25 on amazon... works great!
Chris Winder my same question. Harbor Freight has a great pocket hole jig as well.
Niceeeeee! I have the same miter saw. How many inches in length is the miter bed in order to get full range on the miter ? 🤔
Nice, simple. What more would you need. Subbed bro.
thanks so much! 👍🏽
Great job! It would be nice if you posted the lumber quantities that you used in the description section. :-)
just buy a bunch of 3/4 plywood and 2x4s so you have more for your next project 🤣👍🏽
Amazing build may I ask how many 2X4 and how many 3/4 inch plywood did buy I’m a beginner
I wanna say 1 sheet of 3/4 and a lot of 2x4s lol 🤷🏽♂️
Did you ever build "part 2?" It's been about 2 years... nice build, by the way. I'm watching RUclips videos for ideas for my own build.
lol not yet I have moved on to other projects... maybe in 5 years 😂🤣
Its 2023 im still waiting for P2 😂
Thank you for your ideas in P1
How is that Ryobi saw holding up?
Will the saw rotate enough for 45° angle?
yes it will but I have to pull it out a bit
Nicely done. Do you have measurements you are willing to share?
Scott Snyder I show most of them in the video but i’m not 100% sure as I freestyled it!
I figured it out. Thanks
I love this, do you have planes for this
Looks Great. Are you going to mount bolts for the miter saw?
Taylor Jones I plan on adding a ton of stuff to the miter saw station. it will all be in my part 2 video!
Taylor Jones I currently have it bolted in!
Caleb's Shop can’t wait to see!
Do pocket holes/screws.make for.a.solid table.that will not move around? Never used them. Always screwed two.pieces together with straight through. Just bought the kreg jig and I picked up an aluminum jig like u got at garage sale for about $2 but without the bit
they work great 👍🏽
What pocket hole jig are you using?
the cheapest one off amazon 👍🏽
What are the measurements on it
cristian gonzalez not 100% sure as I freestyled it!
Man wish you had a list of measurements and cuts
Allie Wilcox I do show most of the measurements in the video... unfortunately I just freestyled it so i’m not exactly sure what the measurements are...
Damn, wish you had your plans lol, I need something like this, would be perfect too lol
1:53 What do you call this part?
I want to buy it
It's a Kreg Jig
What are the dimensions of the table? 36h x ??w x ??d
whatever size you want lol I honestly don’t remember 🤷🏽♂️ sorry
Lighten up on the expresso. ..lol
lol 👍🏽
How tall are the legs?
Blerton Jaha normally 35-37” but really depends on preference and such
3 feet 👍🏽
I did something like this, but mine wobbles...lol
Do you like Ryobi
Gangsta!!!
Ill bet $50 you can make 45 degree cuts now. Lol. The base cant fully turn now can it?
easily does 45 degree cuts when I slide the miter saw to the front like it is designed to be. it was farther back at the end of the video for storage
Hi there, it’s a good job, I love it. But I have question, what is the purpose of this video?!!!
Isn’t it to be tutorial for people so they can learn and build one?!!
This is just comment , you don’t explain anything and you put your video on fast play mood, how do you think someone can learn
Thanks
We clearly see all he does. I feel confident in using this to assist me... and I’m a complete noob lol
it’s a general idea of what to do. chose your own adventure 🤷🏽♂️
I hate silent movies!
put your own music on 👍🏽
No step by step instructions, just a video of construction with no explanation.
Steve Sud Yes just wanted to show the process!!
