Mega Man 4 (NES) - Final Stage / Ending

This is the final boss rush and ending to Mega Man 4. Maybe the least memorable of the Mega Man games I've played so far. But being a Mega Man game it still a top 30 NES game and certainly worth a playthrough. I didn't manage to find the balloon or wire upgrade kits, im not even sure what the wire upgrade does though having been on a NES kick for a few months now and this being my 33rd (I think) NES game i've beaten in those months. I'm not sure I'll be coming back anytime soon to find them. Good game!

ngl i thought it was the most forgettable one. but its also the last one i've beaten other than 6. maybe if it played this before 3 and 2 i'd have a different opinion.
it's like on the same level as 3 whereas 5 feels like a real upgrade from 3. but it's a mainline mega man game and there are no bad mega man games
(well maybe other than 8 with all the up up! down down! bullsh*t)

Did you manage to find the balloon and wire upgrades? Where are they even? What does the wire upgrade even do?
edit: also i died on the final boss not knowing how to make the drill blow up. thought it blew up on contact but its more like a remote controlled thing
