I am a journalist who listens to Hannity, and I don't think he considers himself a "journalist." I believe he'd acknowledge he's an advocate/commentator. And since when does being a college dropout disqualify someone from a high position? Harry Truman, Barry Goldwater, and even Walter Cronkite had no college degrees! I've not finished college and I have about 40 years' experience in newspaper writing. Too, Sean has said he's a conservative, NOT a Republican, and HAS criticized some Republicans.

If knowledge got out that a company isn't paying women equal then a rival company will swoop in and hire all the good women from that job with promise of equality. I remember that I enjoyed listening to Hannity in his early days on the radio. He was thoughtful, inquisitive, fair to all callers, and generally a decent, pleasant to talk to guy. Then one day, like a light switch, he turned into the total lunatic we have today. Actually, now he is worse.

If companies were earning zero profit, they would be forced to raise prices, yeah, but companies are earning trillions of dollars in profit (6+ trillion last year alone). They can afford to lose some profit to pay their workers more. Remember, profit is revenue - cost. Profit is the rightful fruit of your labor, minus the cost of equipment, your wage, and the boss's pay. Why should you not keep what you make?

I am a journalist who listens to Hannity, and I don't think he considers himself a "journalist." I believe he'd acknowledge he's an advocate/commentator. And since when does being a college dropout disqualify someone from a high position? Harry Truman, Barry Goldwater, and even Walter Cronkite had no college degrees! I've not finished college and I have about 40 years' experience in newspaper writing. Too, Sean has said he's a conservative, NOT a Republican, and HAS criticized some Republicans.

Women are not treated as inferior at a workplace, that is a myth. They do get paid equal as well. It is a lie to say that women are not getting paid equal. The government is catering to women by forcing companies to pay them equal, they are picking favorites. Never mind the fact if that were to happen businesses just won't hire women and women are paid equal. Since when can the government decide who can succeed? Overall, no, the government can't pick favorites and women are being paid equally.
It was honestly shocking to see a US congressman put Hannity on blast, on his own show! Elison just flat out called him a Republican mouthpiece.

The main reason why women don't get paid more is because of their choice. Not because the company won't do it. If knowledge got out that a company isn't paying women equal then a rival company will swoop in and hire all the good women from that job with promise of equality. There are several reasons why women make less than men and one of them isn't because companies purposely pay them less.

I remember that I enjoyed listening to Hannity in his early days on the radio. He was thoughtful, inquisitive, fair to all callers, and generally a decent, pleasant to talk to guy. Then one day, like a light switch, he turned into the total lunatic we have today. Actually, now he is worse.
That's completely untrue, because companies aren't operating at a margin of no profit. If companies were earning zero profit, they would be forced to raise prices, yeah, but companies are earning trillions of dollars in profit (6+ trillion last year alone). They can afford to lose some profit to pay their workers more. Remember, profit is revenue - cost. Profit is the rightful fruit of your labor, minus the cost of equipment, your wage, and the boss's pay.

Whether you believe Hannity is smart or not, simply being a college dropout isn't a good argument for not being smart or successful, it's merely a talking point. Bill Gates says hi. Some people don't need a teacher to make them smart, they can self-teach themselves just as well...and save a lot of money in the process. Having a degree doesn't mean you'll be successful.
