It was impressive that father Momotaro immediately folded the blankets that Gentaro had scattered neatly. Gentaro was taking a nap outside.

Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMOTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAKK.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

A huge part of me wants to believe Momo fixed up the blanket for Gentaro in case he came back. 🥰 I'm not sure what the actual intention was but I have noticed he's always making sure he's clean and stays away from dirty things. It's adorable to see a silverback who is all about cleansing himself.❤
At 12:55 Gentaro looks so sweet lying on the blue blanket and pillowing his head on his arms. I love watching the gorillas feeding on the ceiling. Momotaro is impressive, as always. Imagine the strength it takes to suspend his 200 kg (I think it is) weight with just his arms. He is so powerful! ❤🦍💕💜

I had to chuckle when you said, “and he is very clean!” That is what I’ve noticed about him too. He stays sleek. When he picks tiny things up off the ground he will shake them in his big hand to remove extra dirt before popping them in his mouth. Wonderful silverback!
I too have noticed how clean Momotaro is in his personal habits. He doesn’t like to get dirty. I always get a kick out of how he usually arranges his blanket before he sits on it. Genki, on the other hand, is the queen of poop-throwers when she is displeased with her mate. Momo must hate that!
That’s wild because it was stated that MoMo does not lay out his own blankets and here he is laying them out 😂

Genki doesn't show too much love 💕 to Kintaro anymore,he forces himself on her,then sometimes she responds, she is only a good mother when they were young.

Does Gentaro think of Genki as his mom, can he remember, like she doesn't think of him as her child?
I suppose that Gentaro think of Genki as a surrogate mother. Genki takes care of him as if he were to be her real son. In short, she doesn't recognize him as a real son. That's because they were separated each other for ten months. The zookeepers gave her to see him through the fence during the period of the time, though. Either way, Genki accepted Gentaro as her baby after all.
