- I'm with my good friend and local food expert Phil Tzeng @lasvegasfill as we dive into a gastronomic journey across Las Vegas, starting with the irresistible Korean BBQ Buffet at Gangnam Asian BBQ Dining that includes A5 Japanese Wagyu Beef AND Lobster Tail, this was the BEST Korean BBQ buffet I've been to in Las Vegas and for ONLY $45. Later we shared a meal at the most expensive sushi dinner restaurant Kame Omakase where the artistry and tradition of sushi are showcased in an exquisite setting.

We live an hour and a half away and haven't made it for a year. All I miss is the food!
I lived in Vegas for several years. I only went to the strip maybe once a year and only when someone came to visit.
I do miss the food, so much.
Don't bother the buffets are mostly closed or over priced...there's very few places that are worth it in vegas...try henderson

almost half way through before we hit umami town, anything with Japanese food it's like he can't think of another word.

There are a lot of great sushi options in Vegas, I love that. Kame I always avoided cause it's too pricy for me, but there are a lot of great mid range ones too, for anyone interested.

I've always wanted to do an omakase but I have hang-ups when it comes to texture that I'm worried I'd offend the chef if I didn't finish the dish because of that 😶 I'll just live vicariously through videos like these
I too have texture aversion and I would try these dishes but from experience with Uni it's hard for me to eat. So many things he said are "buttery," my mind is saying it is mushy and a no go. $350 minimum is a heck of a lot to spend if somethings are going to be triggering your gag reflex. I have to agree to just watch from afar as you said.

Besides it being $500, I don't think my culinary pallet is sophisticated enough. I find tuna and salmon sushi adventures enough 😂

The first half of this was like a buffet Gyu-Kaku. The cuts of meat and smores are almost identical. I love that place, and would love if there was a buffet version.

Wow, Mike had a meal at a sushi place here in the States that serves REAL wasabi, and he didn't make a big deal about it? 😅 Guess now he won't say there aren't real wasabi over here the next time he eats sushi in Japan or Singapore?
