not necessary, its quite easy destroy the planetary fortress therefore more loses for oponente

The protoss in the PvP are both in my league.. playing against them feels so scary but watching them is comical. I must be hilarious to watch
The difference between plat and gold is nuts. Really makes me realize how far I've come
@@obamagaming9456 I'm actually plat too but these guys would probably stomp me. I'm zerg with 65% WR against terran, 75% against zerg, and 35% against toss. If I was even 50% vs toss I might nearly be diamond but since toss is 90% of the ladder and I suck so bad against them I'm stuck where I am.
I got beaten by a toss with 48 APM yesterday. I literally tripled his APM and lost. The only way I beat them is if they fuck up really hard and I swarm while they have no units. If they play the slightest bit safe then it's a guaranteed win against me for them.
@@TheAgavi Shouldn't making tons of queens work against low league protos that only go voidray?
@@TheAgavi Honestly I think you can just queen walk 90% of low elo tosses and double your winrate. Just do an early timing attack with roach/ravager/queen after +1/+1 finishes and you'll beat a fair majority of them. The only opener that would force you to go defensive instead is DT rush, but then all you do is defend with spore crawlers long enough to get a few overseers and probably wait for +2/+2 for your next timing attack.
@@ralfkinkel9687 In theory. In practice I rarely get it to work. Cannon battery with voids is just too hard for me to break.

Fun fact, ultimate end is the summon title for the secret summon Knights of The Round from the game Final Fantasy VII. It did 15x massive damage to all opponents.
that rogue sound in wow and the creeper "TSsssss" from minecraft. 2 of the most fear inducing sounds in any video game.
To help anyone who doesn't understand clock direction:
Directly South = 6 o'clock position
South-West = in between 7 & 8 o'clock position
Directly West = 9 o'clock position
North-West = in between 10 & 11 o'clock position
Directly North = 12 o'clock position
North-East = in between 1 & 2 o'clock position
Directly East = 3 o'clock position
South-East = in between 4 & 5 o'clock position
If people cant read a clock, can you really count on them knowing north south east west, and the combonations of them?
Where does beer o'clock fit in on that map?

protos saw it coming, scouted it. im cvonfused why he didnt just move 1 probe to block the cc from landing...
as a terran player the first game was so painfull to me especially the lost of the second battlecruiser

Listen, I am by no means an expert, but these games man... I love that you're casting them but it's like watching a so-bad-it's-good-movie. It gives me hope that I can compete in gold league :D

Those 2 players in the second game are very learn resistant.
I played StarCraft 1 back in like 2000. So, for 22 years I have not played or watched matches. Been loving these videos. Any advice for new players of SC2? Other than getting the game, is there any RUclipsrs that give good novice/beginner advice? I'd like to create good habits from the get-go. Thank you

I'm right there with you on the clock thing Lowko, that hurts the soul a little.
Yes, I do. However I leveled up in different zones then when to Strangle Thorn Vale at level 60 to do quests and would still get killed by rouges. Sometimes I would kill them if; 1 their vanish/sprint was on Cool Down. 2: I had 15%> after their stun lock. 3: my CD were ready. 4: my shaman had their shield on.
I can answer the rogue question of 'why' .... the answer is: because rogue.

loved your STV - rogue gank reference. My first wow character was a rogue but i never ganked players in STV tho.. despite the temptation. Only when they are trying to kill my quest mob or attacking an ally. :D good times indeed!

As someone who doesn't ladder, I try never to think that I can play better than these people. But then I see things like loremipsum walking DTs past a bunch of cannons he already knew where there. As a bronzemaster Protoss main I couldn't possibly disrespect the most OP unit by throwing it away like that.

I used to have a nifty 3 BC with 1/1 and Yamato teleport timing. The best answer was all in counter attack, so 12 marines in 2 bunkers was a good answer for that.
Going for the Nexus is a good idea. But you have to kill it. In one engagement, if he went for the eastmost canon first with dark Templars, he would eliminate the only detection from that side, and then he could just kill the Nexus without further losses.

I may be a complete boomer, but since kids today only know how to tell what time it is from their cellphones, they have zero clue what the actual clock face looks like. It's like that scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, only there it was Sean Connery playing his dad asking "What happens at 11 o'clock?". Not only do I have still got a regular wristwatch, it actually doesn't even have any numbers on it, so I would totall confuse some kids with it.
I thought i was the worst SC 2 player in the WORLD. My keyboard skills are bad as an old man. This made me feel amazing!
I actually thought Loren Ipsum might have had the win in that second game, considering his army was so much bigger after that first strike and the Prism wasn't scouted for a while. But sadly, no macro behind, and STV's wall of cannons seems to have made the red protoss indecisive. Then, y'know, there's trying to KILL DA NEXUS all the time...

Toss here, and if there’s one matchup I’m tempted to bm it’s PvP. Cannon rushes and Carrier turtles can shove it.

Stv was bad but for my server atleast.. Hillsbrad was the big one... Questing there almost always resulted in everyone getting on their main and duking it out between tarren mill and southshore

Every rogue ganked people in stv, i ganked people as soon as i arrived, and then 30 lvls later came back and kept ganking, trigering an alout was waf fun tho. just gank enough until a hero shows up to defend the lowbies. but you had already another friend w8 ready to 2v1 him.

Wish they'd buff neosteel bunkers, it'd be neat if you could get it earlier
There should be an all Queens hotkey. Like F3 for Queens since they aren't on the lazy drone or full army hotkey. I lose track 2 to 3 queens every game
Press F2. Ctrl+click any queen, either on the battleground or on the selection tab. All queens are now selected.

I once asked a guy in another game about why he keeps going after hq and ignoring barracks and towers and stuff and he told me if he cuts of the head the army will surely die XD
