One thing I've noticed is that if someone is chatty, they're almost definitely trying to distract you from something, and if someone says there's an 'emergency' and they're 'going afk', but not surrendering, they're actually trying to max out on carriers.

Havent played SC2 since 10 years maybe, lots have changed, any bronze player would steamroll me probably. Having played alot of OW though my apm increased by multitudes... if only i knew what to do. These videos are a delight to watch, trying to think together with the players.
Gotta say I'm happy for Hamburgers win. Seeing that toss cheese strat get beaten always puts a smile on my face. There's so few toss strats that I actually like watching, due to how most of it is just all in cheese..
Terran just needs vikings and cyclones to shut this cheese down completely, real good protoss dont go for cheese a lot. Go watch some professional games (exclude has if you dont like it) instead of talking bad about protoss strats man.
I think why there's master league with low mmr is because when they are in league placement match vs a master league, the master league just Surrendered
Im not gonna lie I spent like 40% of in game time on getting achievements and like 58% was in co-op, campaings and ai games, the rest was ladder and I didnt enjoyed it after recieving gold with hard work and many spilled tears so Im not even laughing at viewer games Im just enjoying to hear some good commentary in english.
As a Terran, I’m so glad that the people who put stargates on the enemy side of the map and go void ray shield battery exist. It’s super cool and I’m glad and happy and glad it’s fun fun cool fun

At the beginning of the last season there was a bug where everyone got promoted to masters. As they finally fixed it 32% of the player base were already Master player.
That was just painful. Doesn’t matter if you think you know where your opponent is, vision is important! A single unit, one you’re not using, sent around the map can save you from cheese, or something game-ending. Don’t have to check often. Check if you think your opponent is cornered. Check if nothing has happened in a bit. Check if your opponent doesn’t gg, etc etc I don’t play versus, I don’t like SC2’s PvP (or most PvP in general) but even I know that vision is super important.

During a patch ago. If you Lose a match in ranked I tested it. Lose a match any match on American server during the patch. You were put in masters but you still had your same MMR.
I played a game just like that first one, I was zerg and the terran player managed to sneak away a command center when I killed his base. We kept moving around the map and taking each other's bases lol
Get double gas. 1 probe mining gas after both finish for like 3 mins. Lol. Also, ranking so funky these day. I started playing after like 6 years break. Took 5 placement, lost 2 and won 3 and was put in master. I was diamond/plat back in the day so it was strange. I did manage to stay in Master tho.
Lets say their is a command center there i would have small squads patrol across the map to make sure i own the game and the map even if it was for nothing
Lowko! Just wanna say that I appreciate very much that you do NOT do "game highlights", but rather show whole games (with occasional speedup/rewinds which is totally OK). I think that adds lovely "chill component" do your casts, so I can watch my favourite youtuber while doing chores around the house, instead of actively following fast-paced action, that SC2 really is. I got master badge for 2v2 and I'm only diamond 3. Def messed up
I can confirm. I was placed in Masters with a 2.5 k MMR after not playing since 2013.
In one recent game, the player said "lol yeah right I can't win" and gg-ed. The Masters badge shows up on loading screens.

The range of tactics that can potentially be used is far greater in low-level than high-level play, I think.

Yeah that was a glitch where you would get the masters League portrait but you would still match with whatever you normally would have.
I think he thought fire supression systems was a thing in ladder games.
The Masters league thing is a low level glitch thats been happening to people around silver - randomly being given masters border sub 2k MMR
