- Two games of StarCraft 2 submitted by viewers. Some of the absolute worst StarCraft I've seen in a while... But a lot of fun! If you have an awesome game of SC2 you want me to cast, you can submit it to replays@lowko.tv.

"During this whole engagement, nothing is going on in the production tab." Bruh, you gotta watch your units gloriously kill your opponent. No time to macro while presiding over victory!
YOUR WARRIORS HAVE ENGAGED THE ENEMY!
oh boy gotta check it till the last with my game on the line!
not gonna lie i'm guilty of this, I like to see the pew and upgrades slip the mind when i'm taking care of the engagement :(
This is literally how I played SC1 growing up
@@mikeballew3207 I'm currently replaying that on an old Windows 95 machine... and sadly that's still how I play now.
@@DOSdaze what a chad
Give our first Protoss another 5 months and instead of walling off his own base, he will cannon rush his opponents and then transition to Void Rays
Such a contributor to the sc2 community
"How could you lose Aiur to these creatures? Did they leap up and chew apart your starships?"
Apparently the counter to intergalactic starships is a bunch of guys with machine guns.
@@nhatho1723 Here in the US, we believe that unironically
@@mikeballew3207 Murrica!
Dont forget about the heroin they inject to make the guns shoot faster. Yee haw!
@@nhatho1723 I know right! So stupid, also with the Zerg units. It was better even in Starcraft 1, where there was the Goliath for example, it used maschineguns on ground targets, but switched to rockets, when shooting air.
Lowko: “Attack move to a location, not to a unit!”
Me: “Yeah, you tell ‘em Lowko! What a silly player! I definitely don’t make that mistake in my games!”
"These people are awful, they're not macroing whilst a fight is going on? That would never be me, I'm always macroing!"
For this level of play, this is a great lesson on how semi-decent macro can carry you to plat.
That and a turtling Protoss that goes Void Rays can get you to Gold. In reality, this Toss plays like a bronze leaguer
Nah its just zerg having imba macro
Can confirm. Am platinum and can't micro at all
@@williamehrhardt918 Most people can't micro. That's okay. I can't micro more than the SC2 "special missions" (forgot what they're called). But even just playing the campaigns on brutal should teach a player enough about macro, about spending money and unit compositions. As much "fun" as LowKo is having, I think a big thing he kinda just forgets is that ladder = nerves, as well. And you can get lost in the moment very easily. The 1st set of games was actually decent (at least the Zerg player, bar just brute forcing his way into the base). The 2nd set of games was just two players not building any units for some inexplicable reason though.
Semi-decent macro and just having been playing the game (even if badly) pretty much since it came out are the only reasons I'm ever in Plat. (I'm usually high gold)
“I’m not mad I’m just disappointed” is the most father thing you said.
I’m a father.
I'm really enjoying your exasperated commentary on bad games 😄 As a total noob myself it's actually pretty educational
No lie, I've learned so much from watching Lowko and Harstem! Viewer submitted games in particular give me flashbacks to some of my cringy former games
30:10 building only void rays but upgrading only ground weapons. That's the bronze league spirit...
I rootet so hard for DaNoM, it was such a relief to see him win against this Airtoss!
hello there
Aye 👌🏻👍🏻
@@idodeclare6804 General Kenobi!
@@prome3439 you are a bold one
absolutely love these lower level games. so funny
200 IQ move targeting the gas geysers with lings, it’s rare anybody ever remembers to retake or resaturate gas at this level, he’s devastating that VR production 🤣
Alarak saying something about zerglings jumping up and biting spaceships, little did he know zerglings are the counter
that first game was glorious- like 50 supply of adrenal zerglings taking down every last protoss structure uncontested
god i love viewer submitted games
that mass zergling strat to counter voidrays was clutch
SO clutch!! Zerglings didn't work? well obviously just use more the next time :D
more viewer games, lets go!!!
I only started playing this year, these games remind me how terrible I used to be back when my Protoss strategy was blocking my natural and proxying Zealots
Edit: I started last year in June, I forgot this is 2022 :0
"NO I HATE IT CROCDOG! IT SUCKS!" Lowko got those parenting skills right there. I love it.
Never hold back, only 100% truths.
I don't always rush my blinkless stalkers up a choked up ramp into multiple tanks and bio, but when I do, I get about the same results 😂
"You know what Crocdog? Its not I'm mad, I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed" - best dad Lowko
Lowko casting silver-league games: "OmG gUyS i'M sO tRiggErEd!"
Bronze league: "Allow us to introduce ourselves."
Bronce league is just cannon rush after cannon rush. And then people throw their hands up like: "Yup i can't beat this!" and surrender xD
@@LostOnceLefthanded Sounds like I should join some bronze league! :) hehehehe see how those cannon rushes work against scvs
I love this, this is like the return of Bronze League Heroes from back in the day. Would love to see more!
From husky?
Honestly???? This was the most entertaining matches that I have seen from all your videos, and I watched dozens of them !!!))))) It was sooooooo funnnyyyy to watch, to laugh and to enjoy))))) amazing games!!!! I want more of such games!!!! Please))) thanks for this video Lowko))))) good job)
My strategy once upon a time isn't that different from Lowko's. What I'd do, however, is make all the units from most costly to cheapest. My grand reasoning, not really knowing what the units did, was that each unit would have something it's good at. That being the case, having all the units meant I was ready for anything!
Although it's not great it can be handy when playing Phoenix on Co-op xD
This makes me want to look back and find the match where, as a Zerg player, I discovered widow mines don't work like spider mines...
To be fair, Lowko, the Mammoth Tank exists in both Command & Conquer (the entire Tiberium timeline) and Red Alert 1. Red Alert 2 replaced it with the Apocalypse tank from that time onwards, but it's still basically a Mammoth Tank with a different name.
Always love these Viewer Games... also at 2:40 you can see Protoss sending the probe holding a mineral into the assimilator
13:42 ive never seen zerglings burn down a base so fast before, wow.
I never thought Zerglings would counter Void Rays.
33:15 "You got 10,000 minerals in the bank, bro! Like we never see this many digits worth of minerals!" You must have missed LagTV's "When Cheese Fails" series, where Jeff and Adam would call 5K minerals "Facebook money" and 10K minerals "Oprah money."
HIT ME UP WITH THAT OLDSCHOOL NOOOOOOIIIIIIIIISE
I like viewer games. I would love to see some team games as well, they can be fun
I feel like DaNoM made a bet with someone on how far he can climb the ladder building only zerglings, he clearly knows how to play and rushes to adrenals
Lowko the tyrador skin's "tell" on the barracks is the front lights flashing on and off. The lights on top always flash, but the window on front glows onto the ground while producing.
Always enjoyable to listen to your commentaries
C&C and RA both have a mammoth tank but in RA it felt more like "Just another unit" whereas original GDI mammoth tanks in a 1v1 matchup of C&C are like "YEAH I GOT MAMMOTH TANKS NOW WHAT SUCKA."
Its like if ultralisks could also shoot air (mammoth tanks, in addition to having two tank barrells and a lot of health, also have a rocket launcher that can target air). Crazy, right?
But to your point about numbers, the most powerful unit in OG C&C is basically the nod recon bike because they move fast, they can shoot up, they can easily snipe harvesters, and they're really cheap and fast to build. Literally bad balance but it didn't matter because playing multiplayer games wasn't like it is now.
The Mammoth Tank was also in Tiberium Wars as well... although it looked like a mammoth and not a tank... its still a mammoth tank xD
I used to play SC1 against my friend on the Nintendo64 splitscreen... he tried rushing to air units one game and didn't realize I was rushing mech... he sent his first two air units (maybe VRs? I don't remember) towards my base and they were halfway across the map when he heard (since splitscreen we hear each other's notifications) "Goliath online! Goliath online!" and just swore, threw the controller, and left the house.
@@gatherer818 RTS on an n64 sounds like a terrible experience, especially with a game that depends on not knowing what your opponent is doing. Its real odd that SC1 actually got made for N64.
That is true on the nod bikes but it's not that powerful in the pro scene as players are able to micro their harvesters around buildings to keep them alive while having their own units nearby to quickly shut them down as they are made of paper, it's not too different from starcraft hellions.
Something similar happened to me lots of years ago while playing ao2 when I got my elephants killed by a bunch of pikes (trash units) and then I realized.. yup I need to be clever and pay attention to bonuses lol.
The first game seems like 2 friends setting up a game where they promised to only build lings and voids just to showcase how "OP" zerg is 😅
I haven't played ladder since before legacy of the void came out. Having one or two builds, and being able to micro even a little could almost get you to masters. This makes me want to jump back in.
"This guy has successfully now cannon rushed his own natural expansion." TV, Lowko.
love it when you cast the low level matches!!
FINALLY A VIEWER GAME
These 2 games made me feel so much better about myself and my (apparently not so meager) skill.
Now I feel like I'll finally meet people around my level when I come back after a 2 year break
omfg the sound that ghosts are making on 28:52 will come for me at night
Moral: Use alot of zerglings. if that dont work, Use more zerglings.
Thanks for posting this even though the matches are bad; I suck so much at this game I think I learn more about what not to do from the bad games, because I can't even follow what the pros are doing, or how they're doing it.
I'm learning so much right now. I think I will get into ranked as zerg xd
Remember. There is no problem that a tsunami of Banelings cannot solve.
25:29 The probe didn't manage to escape.
He asserted dominance. That's why the siege tank decided to run away and the whole army didn't even dare looking at him while going home :)
Well, comparing to pro games, these ones are good - all because your commentary makes them very interesting to watch and fun to listen.
You don't disappoint us! Thanks!
This zerg strat has never not worked for me 🧢. I’m one of apparently many who never play the game but watch lots of your vids. Insane how consistently you upload man ❤️ great as always
Lowko, when you go off mic in outrage, that's when these viewers games go from funny to EPIC ROAST
That terran skin, just above the lights on the buildings that were producing there was smoke coming from the vents and the idle ones didn't have smoke
@22:40
The smoke.
Smoke coming out of the barracks producing, no smoke on the ones not producing.
*little kid presents adorable stick figuring drawing*
Lowko: "I hate it. It sucks."
The protoss in the second game probably doesn't even know A move exists. So he's literally right clicking onto units otherwise they wouldn't attack, they would just die walking into the enemy.
Exactly! This is how I played AoE2 when I was 7
This video is an example of why you're my favorite caster.
Can’t believe that Lowko missed the 33 probes in the mineral field with a capacity of 6… 31:40
14:15 PROOF that Zerg is OP! This Protoss player did everything right:
1) Full wall off with Photon Cannons
2) Built a fleet of Void Rays
3) Prismatic Alignment to kill dozens of enemy units
4) Meander across the map with an unstoppable fleet
And he STILL lost to the weakest Zerg unit! @Bill Gates please nerf Zerg!!!!!
33:28 Lowko, he’s making memories.
Have to say those full upgrades Lings really did make short work of that P base when you only have a few cannons defending it
*"GET REKT!* 🐜" - Zerglings (probably)
Frustration guesses:
~30sec: One tries stupid buildorder
~2min: crazy "pro" strategy like proxy spine crawler
~5min: No idea, what they actually are doing
Lets see, what will happen ^^
Well, at least CrocDog didn't shy away from using a Raven. XD
07:30
"heelll yeaa", ahahaahaa I cracked up
2:00 what would it take to make this Protoss scout? How about full walling a probe out of his own base?
29:28 - We saw the moment that evil was born.
It looks like my firsts games when i was a little younger, i'm 16 years old, mass photon canons in my main base, and a huge bank.
90 seconds in, Lowko already frustrated, I’m already roflmao. “He’s successfully cannon rushed his own natural” lolol
@23:15 The lights on the barracks don't seem to change, but the barracks producing something seem to be emitting steam from their chimneys. Not the most obvious sign though…
Ground beneath Barracks is lit when something is produced.
You know what really got me in that second game? Protoss went up to level 3 on ground units, but was barely making ground units until the very end, while also not getting any air unit upgrades. Were they confused over which upgrades were which?
"This Game Sucks" but the commentary is funny. It's not a bad game after all as we enjoy watching it. Cheers Lowko
"How did you become the 1%?"
"We use trackpads instead of a mouse and keyboard."
The barracks have steam coming out of the vents on top when producing. Low Blind.
Seeing 30 Marines kill several voidrays made me so happy. CrocDog is a legend
I love viewer submitted games. Do them more please. I wish I could play against these bad people in silver as well. I am not great, but I know I am at least high gold and not silver.
I used to block my ramp with stuff and one base all in voids. Worked like a charm😂 WOL 😊
Lowko roasting this protoss had me dead
For the terran u gotta give credit to him for Morphing cc into orbitals and actually using the energy...
The lights under the rax light up when producing
As I was watching the second game I realized you need to send it to Harstem. Not because he will enjoy watching it, but because he will enjoy the example it makes. One thing that pisses Harstem off is when Terrans complain that EMP is too hard to land. If there is one thing the Terran did right in that game, it was landing the EMPs. If for no other reason than that, make Harstem watch this.
I love these lower leaguers! They play at my speed. It’s hilarious! Don’t feel bad if you suck- I completely suck but I have a blast playing. It’s just a game that I love to play. I suck at bowling but rule at golf. The point is to just have fun.
31:00 That doesn´t hurt, every rape voidball is just lovely touch for my heart.
Don't think I ever seen someone lose by actually losing all their structures on this channel
Command and Conquer reference was gold
23:00 lowBlind, there is smoke or steam comming from the producing barracks
I want to see more of these low level games. They remind me of my starts with starcraft lol
Seems like zerg was doing zerglings only challenge and teran 10k mineral challenge. And they managed to do it!
I love how the silver Zerg is better than the gold protoss. A perfect allegory.
This is zerglings only. I do this sometimes, so much fun.
Hey Lowko! What do you think about casting more archon, or battle royales replays? I always love your casting but it's really fun seeing the crazy plays!!
So what I'm gathering from these low tier matchups is:
Play bad+make Lowko cringe cry=Free coaching input from Lowko without having to win the Viewer Tournament 😃
The bad game play really brings out the Lowko in Lowko lol - more please :P
the level of frustration when Lowko say " decide to fly back home..!"
I think you can tell it by the smoke that comes from the barracks.
“Oh God. That nexus is misplaced.”
Prismatic allignment 3rd effect is intimidation
Nothing better than to hear Lowko getting pained by low league games. Keep them coming!
That is the kind of protoss players I go up against
:)))
I will admit that in my HoTS days, I won a lot of low level games by doing the "AHHHH THEY HAVE STUFF THAT FLIES! I NEED 200 ZERGLINGS NOW! HE CAN'T KILL THEM ALL!" strategy.
It's valid strategy vs. a lower level player who is not prepared for that. Just gotta kill his base quicker than he does yours.
@@Diree I honestly enjoyed those games more than my actually good games. It was just fun.
@@ZergleJerk It's why I like these user games often more than the pro games. Pro games are often just, well, the same, since there's only ever a few top strategies. Unless you're beeing cheesed or someone is a micro god ... there's no real surprises. While in these sort of games, you have NO idea what the players will (or won't ^^) do next. I honestly love them.
Lowko. You are a highlight of the esoteric selection of things this ancient gamer watches on RUclips. One of the best announcers in not only StarCraft 2, but Esports and sports in general. So much so that my wife will sit and watch as she has overheard me watching so many times that she understands the game somewhat now. We watch on the TV most commonly, so I can't hit the 'like' button w/o a convoluted set of actions so I've been meaning to go back and hit lots of likes. This last video got a dislike though, you shouldn't have been quite so harsh on CrocDog. He is bad but you could have given him shit while still keeping it cool. Go to minute 31 and listen to yourself. Lots of people spending lots of time listening to you. Ok, back to hitting like on more of your videos. Cheers!
