hehe, and I am the guy who stays in the game after winning, just to continue spreading creep and marching queens. I mean that's the real goal of the Zerg right? to be enveloping the Petri dish map. The opponent is just a nuisance along the way ;p
I think those last few minutes, with the opponent going afk, is why this is one of his favorites. Knowing that you are getting under your opponent's skin is very satisfying.

Florencio is just playing 7d chess and waging psychological warfare against his enemies. Not building army up to the pop cap is a pure chad move.

Reminds me of a game I showed a friend. He is learning SCII and asked me to play a match for him to see, I had a reaper in my base and basically ignored it, lost 2-3 SCVs. He didn't understand why I was so unbothered by that reaper and said it didn't mattered. When the match was over and I opened the replay to point out _why_ the enemy had lost that game, I showed him that while he was microing his heart out with that reaper, he went on about a min and a half without building anything in his base.
Florencio here killed 2 probes, unfortunately his micro on that reaper cost him a lot of production timing on his own workers and is still 6 workers behind soon to be 8.
Remember guys, until you reach diamond 1, your reaper is a photographer. Don't micro it.

Ah Florencio, the only guy that can do those crazy build orders to such a high degree that it makes the opponent lose the will to fight back truly skilled. Just the kind of thing that only the sewer mirmaid is capable

But atleast the one at 24:40 survived a crazy amount of shit happening around him. just dont follow him at 27:30 a nice sight i tell you that.
So that makes 4 critters in that match and they are not even targetable. pretty metal.

New idea for starcraft 2 I just had: Add train worker button with (toggleble) autocast. Trains until full.
Would save a whole lot of commands that could probably be given automatically.
It feels like Flo's been playing Starcraft 1 himself, but in SC2 there's not much SC1, so instead of _just copying_ he invents how to play as he likes, so he learns how to actually play this game.
Plus, this brings us so much fun, so why the heck not, right?))

I just want to point out, I still remember that in Wings of Liberty it was worthwhile to mention if a Zerg player was hitting most injects for the first ~5 minutes of the game. Scarlett started to make a name for herself because she was doing a good job creeping up the map. That was a standout perk from her. Having 5+ tumors going at the same time.
SC 2 has come *a long* way since it's early days.

Just after 24 min, Jawa decided to bring more observers to the party! Edit.. he spent the whole game lacking of observers!
And then he brought 4 observers to the same spot, spotted the 2 ghosts nuking his Nexus, and did nothing about them! hahha

I was at best plat 1 when I played in 2012-2014, and I played A LOT. I came back in 2020 and immediately got to diamond 2, and I have never built an adept, disruptor, used recall or battery overcharge (protoss player) and I have not learned any new builds. I am definitely worse now than before. I actually think a smaller player base makes it easier to rank highly, since it seems like a higher number of tryhards are gone.
I remember a Florencio game where he lose because he leaves thinking he already won it and we’re just killing the corpse. Turns out the opponent just goes afk and never leaves.
I admit there were a few minutes where I wasn't paying full attention... But no compliment for the orbital command? Or did you?

The only upgrades Florencio got were the cloaking ones. He also could have gotten the one for banshees and some some worker harass with them if not for the plentiful cannons.

Everytime protoss lead its army into a swarm of widow mines with the detector units IN THE LEAD, causing them to get sniped first, I felt physically pained.
