It’s a TRAGEDY tht there’s so many INNOCENT PPL locked up behind bars to rot for crimes tht they r totally INNOCENT of. Law enforcement shud take the time to gather all the evidence & not stuff it up as they regularly do & not get tunnel vision because it’s somebody’s life in their hands & a lot of those ppls r INNOCENT. The justice system needs to pull its finger out because it takes 2 seconds to lock u up & it can take 40 years plus to try to get u back out & all tht time you’ve been 100% INNOCENT. That's the thing tho: there was no evidence of myocarditis. That defence expert **speculated** the cause of the heart scarring was myocarditis. He admits he's speculating at 34:16. Meanwhile the Medical Examiner stated Lina's heart had healthy function, & was unlikely to be the cause of her death.
People certainly die from myocarditis, but according to Johns Hopkins (world-renowned hospital with specialized heart/heart surgery centre) "most cases of myocarditis are self-resolving". And it's pure speculation that Lina even had myocarditis! Typically people with the issues Lina had--minor heart scarring &/or heart arrythmia--live long healthy lives.

@@Jinxs-Journey Aw I’m so sorry. I lost my only child as an infant. It’s devastating. I hope you’ve managed to find some peace. Myocarditis is one of those tricky illnesses because of how differently it can present. It can happen more suddenly than it did for your son. I think any heart disease can be like that. My brother just died of the same disease that took our dad, which attacks the heart worst of all. My dad had been discharged from the hospital about two weeks prior to his death and was having what appeared to be a normal day for him and just keeled over dead. My brother on the other hand, had the whole death bed scene, with family around him, knowing he was down to weeks, then days, then hours. The heart is weird. It can hold on till the bitter end and it can also just suddenly stop beating when it’s under attack.

I lost my very healthy, non sickly 15 year old daughter to myocarditis. The description the coroner gave of what her life must have been like before she died was unrecognizable to everyone who knew her. She was NOT sickly. She was active like any teenager. It is a misnomer to say otherwise. Working with American Heart Association and speaking with many cardiologists since then have confirmed this after all, athletes die of this also.

I’ve been working in EMS since 2004 they say doing CPR on one of your family members is the worst, I can tell you I’ve done CPR on my brother and he survived when EMS showed up
They’re were talking to me very disrespectful once I told them I do the same job as you and all I need is a ride to get my damn brother to the hospital, I’m not kidding there attitudes changed that second thinking I just F up. It’s crazy my sister passed away a few years ago and a month late I almost died and the month after that I did CPR on my brother. I suggest people learn CPR and immediately you training turns into doing what you have to do to save a life. Anything dealing with kids is the worst scene and the calls you don’t want. I love the adrenaline rush going lights and sirens, I’m also very calm at call I go to. I treat people the way I would want my family treated. I honestly should of reported these EMS workers because I was so damn pissed and I saved my brothers damn life like I said I needed a damn ride to the hospital. Also there’s times you can break ribs doing CPR my brother called me the next day and said his ribs were hurting, I said would you rather pain or being in a coffin and he was lucky that I was there and it was me and him and I was trying to asking where the remote was and he didn’t answer I walked over to the bathroom and could hear his breathing I kicked the damn door in and got him to
    The floor and went into

I didn't realize that when CPR is done that it can crack ribs. In the end, she realized what I was saying and she wanted to live as long as possible but not with machines. Her heart stopped beating...it was an electrical malfunction - she lost consciousness, collapsed and her heart could not re-correct....I disagree that she was "asphyxiated" by the "pressure" of the objects on the bookcase when she fell on them. She was dead before that. Adam did NOT "strangle" her....no way. There was no evidence of any "struggle" in that bathroom indicating she was "fighting for her life" in some of kind of fight with Adam. None whatsoever.

I told them that the last thing they would have thought of would be cardiac issues/aneurysm. He died in the shower. And fainting, difficulty breathing & chest pain is a result of having myocarditis. So she had a preexisting heart condition & her body was signaling an underlying condition by fainting. She pushed it aside, she was healthy, happy & just living & loving her family. "I'm okay mama, see I'm okay". So sad. The horrific part is that they actually took him to trial & resources do matter & it can happen to any one of us.

Interestingly he was the one who had cheated on me, but she literally asked me one day if I ever thought that I was responsible for what he did! Syncopy, which is the medical term for fainting or passing out, can be caused by an underlying heart condition. Someone with a history of it needs to have a comprehensive check of their heart. It is true that the scarring of her heart was not her cause of death. But the thing I find so outrageous was the exclusion of the magazine rack and contents due to the fact that the marks on her neck and chin made it evident that it was no mechanical weapon or even human hands that caused them. I despise overzealous prosecutors that will stop at nothing to rack up another win in the courtroom and drag an innocent person through the coals in the process. That is not justice. It's barbaric! This case should have never happened. But I am also so greatful that another innocent person wasn't given a prison sentence and was vindicated. Anyone of lesser financial resources for their defense is certainly not as fortunate. My heart goes out to him and his family for the grevious losses they have endured and for all those innocents who are presently sitting in prisons throughout our nation. May God extend His mercy, compassion, and justice to them. ❤

Getting him and his brother mixed up makes complete sense! And why the hell do you need a whole damn swat team to arrest a guy that didn't even know he was a suspect??? No need for a sneak attack! What a waste of resources. There was zero evidence against this man, yet they tried to put him in prison for life. No physical evidence and zero motive. No money issues, affairs, nothing. Throw away that whole police department! So glad the jury got it right! That was genuine fear, panic and sadness in his voice on that 911 call. He tried so hard to save her. RIP Lina and prayers to your family.
