Ribble make great bikes. I'm over the moon with mine.

Upscaling 1080p to 4k isn't recommended usually as it can create artifacts. You'd be better to keep filming in 4K and buy a bigger card and extra battery 🙂 I'm glad you like the bike as I'm thinking of getting one

Nice bike. I bought a Cannondale Supersix Evo Neo3 to commute from Richmond to Newton Aycliffe. It works really well and I do this 2 or 3 days per week at present (let's see what happens when the weather/light changes.

I'd have it in turbo mode whilst on Dalton back lane, not my favourite road for cycling!
My friend is thinking about one of these (as was I) but battery range is an issue.
Have you yet done a battery range test ride in eco mode?
    Cheers 🚲👍

I haven't done a proper range test yet, but I'm taking it on bikepacking to the netherlands soon, that will give it a good test.

Ah nice, the Netherlands are great to cycle around.
I'd be interested to know what range you get over there.
If I eventually get that bike, or another that uses the Mahle system, I'd end up getting a second battery to run in parallel.
      Enjoy your trip 🚲⛺👍

Hi and thank you for the review. I am seriously considering the grx400 version. A question please -I use my bikes on the hilliest parts of Co Durham, both on and off road -and I can’t quite understand if/how the Mahle motor will help me when grinding up at my lowest cadence , say in 1st gear and eco mode. Does the motor still assist at the lowest speeds? I am 67 and don’t go very fast, but I still enjoy the climbs. Cheers and I love the accent 👍

It should still assist you even in eco mode and lowest speeds. Like a little gentle nudge up the climb, if that makes sense.

Hi Thank you for posting your review. Most reviews are on the CGRAle
After 4 weeks have you done much off road and if so how do you rate the bike. I am looking at this bike for tracks and trails in the Peak District and I can’t decide on the 2 bikes. I have a hip problem and riding is not a problem unless I have to get out of the saddle which is somewhat painful.

I’ve done some off road riding on gravel and old railway paths and it seems to cope really well, haven’t tried any gnarly single track yet.

daft question but i still use one off these on a turbo trainer?, great video though

Don’t think it would work, it’s not a traditional thru axle or anything at the back.

Do you feel there is much drag when the motor shuts off . I’m so close to getting one but the 16mph limit is holding me back 18 would be better for the level I ride at 20 I’d lose the car for work

Can’t say I’ve noticed at the level I ride at, 16mph is just right for an old fart like me.

If you have a bike bolt a Tongsheng tsdz2B motor to it.

Hi I’ve just bought this bike and I’m just wandering what range you actually get in Eco mode.! I regularly did the C2C and hoping to do it again on the bike but just thinking about how far I’d get on a full battery

    • @symbiantscycling
      @symbiantscycling  Год назад +2

I’m not sure off the top of my head, I might have to try it out myself and see how far I get on a single charge

    Bigger battery = further range.
    625wh required.

Interesting and enjoyable review, but why do the presenters always add such bloody dreadful music - totally unnecessary.
