This episode like it was written by someone who missed the point of the original Marvel Zombies. Which, to be fair, is a lot of people. Even all the sequels missed the point. Marvel Zombies is about the zombies. There wasn’t some quirky band of survivors, it was basically just Black Panther and the Asteroid M mutants who waited out the zombies in space. The drama came from how the heroes were all going through different stages of grief and coping. Some heroes were in denial, some were actively grieving their circumstances, some had completely swung into their new roles. We get to see once proud heroes at their absolute lowest mentally. There was comedy, but it was bleak comedy and usually done by the coping heroes to further show how far they’ve fallen. This just made it a survivor story. I admire them going for lesser side characters to make it more unique, but the original story was already an incredibly unique twist on zombie stories. I’m not a sticker for “comic accuracy” even as a comics fan but there were expectations here and they weren’t met. Feels like such wasted potential.

Wanda's powers are too strong to treat the zombie virus somehow, how convenient despite thst not being how her magic works... But shouldn't it have been too strong to be infected in yhe first place because for it to be a cure, it has to be way way way stronger than the contamination not weaker... So, what the hell... And why does he need to feed her??? She doesn't need to eat... The zombies don't eat their target otherwise there won't be any outbreak because the first zombies would just eat the entirety of their target rather than infecting them... And it's still pissing me off how the wasp removed her freaking helmet despite bein covered with zombie innards... She literally exposed her face to it... All because they want to show a pointless facial expression of disgust from her despite that also being achievable without her removing her helmet, just draw her body being disgusted and frantically trying to get the guts off herself and her voice should do the remaining, sounding disgusted, you don't nythe pointless braindead unnecessary removing of her helmet especially when it is so important to the story at hand... Ss if we really need to see her disgusted face thst badly... And how the hell did her freaking suit get damaged??? Was it Sharon's bones that tore it or what because thst stuff is meant to be strong to just be torn that easily... You can't even tear a simple leather jacket that easily... But her superpower costume that jelps with her shrinking and has wires in it for the connections of her suit, that conveniently tears inexplicably... How does someone write this way??? How bad can a so called writer be... What the hell... How are these people still allowed to use any writing equipments not to mention write for an expensive studio... They could have easily shown sharon trying to chew the wasp as the wasp holds Sharon's teeth up to prevent the chomp and one of Sharon's tooth grinded into her shoulder in the process or the tooth doesn't have to be the reason, let sharon look up, which would make the wasp fall diwn into her throat and the stomach acid after her helmet and deactivated it (we can visualize this when she's outside after ecploding sgaron from within, her helmet won't be on and she would try to activate it but it stalls and stops working) and she would be infected by the stomach acid batthing her face... This would explain why it's taking her a long time to turn, because the infection as been diluted by the syomach acid and it's not at full potential to infect fast enough but would eventually get there... And this way, sharon gets to be occupied rather than staring at bucky like she wants the D and no more unexplainable convenient tear... I just thought of this whilst typing it... Writing is actually not this hard, i draw and write snf and it's shocking that Hollywood is having a very very big problem with the simplest of the two that it's ridiculous... Stop praising them over something ss basic as reminiscing your family for a well blended exposition and learning about the character's personality... That's really basic and doesn't require cheering, you should demand more, not this basic barest minimum....
Also how did the zombies even pirce thanos's skin, remember it took iron man throwing everything he had at thanos to make him shed a single drop of blood
4:18 I could be confusing with DCeased, but im pretty sure the zombies in the comics keep their intelligence and personality, they just crave flesh. so being able to pilot the ship he came in on isnt too crazy
It would've made more sense that the infinity gauntlet with ANY amount of stones would repel the zombies as well Otherwise, it's mighty convenient that ONLY the mind stone produces frequencies that the zombies don't like You'd think all the stones would be doing that, 'cause i don't know what specifically about the mind stone would be causing this Even with only the two stones he had after killing the asgardians and Loki, Thanos should be like a zombie repellant for any zombie in a mile radius
it took multiple avengers with some ludicrously powerful attacks to give Thanos a small cut on the cheek, I don't think a zombie simply swiping at him would do much unless the virus managed to be injected into him via an orifice or something, but even then there are so many ways the stones of infinite power could prevent anything from happening to him.
Why didn’t Vision just his death laser thing to clear out the zombies all around the compound. He’s basically a robot with a infinite power source in his head. So he should have no issue killing everything in the compound, Right?
No, it's not a stretch... It's character assassination that thanos became a zombie... They're not thinking about if it makes sense, they're just choosing characters based on how cool it would be and trying to write a story around them and they couldn't for thanos so they ended it immediately... They just wanted the brainless fanatic consumers to have their balls tickled...
26:03 Im 90% sure the only infinity stone that kills you if you touch it is the power stone. Either that or the only one that doesnt kill you is the soul stone for some reason because Hawkeye, the normal human, held it in his hand for a long time. Thats not even including the times thanos held a stone in his un-gloved hand and felt nothing. Basically they're all super dumb because there was no reason they shouldnt take the mind stone and run. Also is vision like an amplifier or something? Why do the zombies rush in when the stone is taken out of vision when its still in the exact same location.
Maybe im just playing devils advocate, but i feel like the Janet thing works. The zombies are shown to have some higher thinking, so zombie janet luring them to the quantum realm and getting them back out is plausible. Still not great
@puggietaur ah but they can, proven by Happy saying blam. It's possible their vocal chords are just rotted, but in Scott's body she could speak just fine It's just devils advocate though, im really enjoying your videos
While I get that you're upset about your favorite characters making blatantly wrong choices, these are not prime timeline versions of these characters. They are going to be written intentionally different in order to differentiate them from their "true" counterparts.
Why would they be intentionally written as different characters? Isn't the entire point of the series to explore hypotheticals or "What Ifs"? That they are the same characters but only a single timeline event had changed? Or is there something that communicates that justifies (or even tries to excuse) how all the characters make choices not in line with their motivations or personalities?

I've been tricked, deceived and quite possibly bamboozled! I've been speckledorfed! That's not even a wird and you have to agree with me on that! Curse you, Mandella Effect, for because of you I remembered the iconic and beautiful "Blam blam blam!" as "Kablam kablam kablam!". I have committed horrific heresy caused by a severe lapse in judgement and I do not expect to be forgiven.
Blam!
You missed the fact that Happy has the glove on his left hand, but she puts it on her right hand.
That's really basic and doesn't require cheering, you should demand more, not this basic barest minimum....
i'm not exactly praising it, just pointing out the moment that is better than every other part of the show
Also how did the zombies even pirce thanos's skin, remember it took iron man throwing everything he had at thanos to make him shed a single drop of blood
Just realised that he covered that at the end sry
7:39 Ngl. She made a good point. I’d follow her lmao
4:18 I could be confusing with DCeased, but im pretty sure the zombies in the comics keep their intelligence and personality, they just crave flesh. so being able to pilot the ship he came in on isnt too crazy
that's not the case here. the zombies in the episode seem mindless apart from the mechanical feats we see them pull off
@ true. the intelligence level of the zombies in the show are really inconsistent.
It would've made more sense that the infinity gauntlet with ANY amount of stones would repel the zombies as well
Otherwise, it's mighty convenient that ONLY the mind stone produces frequencies that the zombies don't like
You'd think all the stones would be doing that, 'cause i don't know what specifically about the mind stone would be causing this
Even with only the two stones he had after killing the asgardians and Loki, Thanos should be like a zombie repellant for any zombie in a mile radius
it took multiple avengers with some ludicrously powerful attacks to give Thanos a small cut on the cheek, I don't think a zombie simply swiping at him would do much unless the virus managed to be injected into him via an orifice or something, but even then there are so many ways the stones of infinite power could prevent anything from happening to him.
I love how they completely ignored the original comic
It matches the writing of the original source material so that’s a positive right?
i wouldn't consider it one... if the original is bad then do better 😆
How did Tony get infected in his perfectly sealed suit that’s capable of space travel
“End of the line” wasn’t a pun. It’s a reference to what Cap & Bucky say to each other “I’m with you till the end of the line”
it was both. i know it's a reference to that but it's also a train pun
14:28 this frame pisses me off because literally what else could this stand for dawg😭😭😭😭
brandon frank parker. belgium fried potatoes. many things really
The image at 16:05 looks more like the technovirus more than the zombie virus so that might be how Vision got got.
12:47
To be fair she was on the side of him that has a metal arm so even if she did bite him while he was grabbing her he wouldnt be infected
26:03
Im 90% sure the only infinity stone that kills you if you touch it is the power stone.
How on earth did Tahalla and iron man get affected??? Aren’t their suits designed to stop things like this??
10:56 also he should have spider senses
what if: i got nothing :(
YOU GET NOTHING! GOOD DAY SIR!
what if ster got nothing
Maybe im just playing devils advocate, but i feel like the Janet thing works. The zombies are shown to have some higher thinking, so zombie janet luring them to the quantum realm and getting them back out is plausible.
Still not great
the zombies can't speak though, and janet needs to speak though scott for it to work
@puggietaur ah but they can, proven by Happy saying blam. It's possible their vocal chords are just rotted, but in Scott's body she could speak just fine
It's just devils advocate though, im really enjoying your videos
@@MoonyMckayNetwork man. To think a terrible joke in the show done for a single scene proves that all the zombies have the capacity to speak.
@@ElfireII ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How did Janet contract the virus when she is the same size AS the virus????
They made every character dum for the plot to move foward and thanos would not allow himself to get infected
Bro is mr.angry I’m dead 😭
Dont those webs dissolve in a few hours?
While I get that you're upset about your favorite characters making blatantly wrong choices, these are not prime timeline versions of these characters. They are going to be written intentionally different in order to differentiate them from their "true" counterparts.
Why would they be intentionally written as different characters? Isn't the entire point of the series to explore hypotheticals or "What Ifs"? That they are the same characters but only a single timeline event had changed?
Or is there something that communicates that justifies (or even tries to excuse) how all the characters make choices not in line with their motivations or personalities?
Sooooo basically this episode did what Infinity War did. Show mind changing crap and doesn't bother to realize they make every scene worse
Elaborate
@KingConvoy889 The sling ring portals comes to my mind for the most part on what I mean. Those portals are kinda too overpowered and surprisingly overused. They get used so much and yet at the same time they are wielded by idiots.
If that elaborate enough do respond. Love hearing from other people on RUclips
@@johnprime1147 they are very useful though so it's expected for the "idiots" (idk who you're talking about) to use them to their full extent
i don't know why i am watching this video from past 20 minutes🙃🙃
how does zombification work? do u need to have your skin cut? i dont think a few measly bites would be enough to infect the impenetrable skin of thanos
Age old addage bro. "You can't write characters who are smarter than you are". This is just another embarrassing revelation of the overall quality of the modern writers for the MCU
How did iron man get infected
good critique in general but too many nitpicks
so so so many plot holes in this episode, iron man and black panther have Armour, how the hell did the zombies bite them, also iron man can fly....
16:05 what is this??
zombie ikaris, aren't you excited? 😁
Doesn’t Ant man need his helmet to shrink?
to do it safely yes
but here, his suit can immediately put the helmet on like hope's does right before she shrinks
What if.... we fucked up everyone's character?
the point about them doing stuff normal humans cant as regular humans is kinda stupid, since this isn't real life
The MCU has consistent rules though, so unless there's an explanation for people being enhanced then they should just be a normal human
King of nitpicking
i'll gladly hold that title
to be fair, even the original zombie story and the concept itself isn't even that good (let's face it, almost everyone involved, if they were in character, would never get bitten)
I look forward to your Loki take down, that show was just utter garbage
Can you guys stop calling lagos lah goes... It's lay gause as in cause of gun with an s instead of n... I jste when you guys pronounce it wrong... That's where i am currently, where i was born and were I live since birth... Please learn to pronounce it better...
And by the way, that's not real Lagos or even Nigeria... For one, we don't have any disease institution in front beside a market... We're not dumb just because we're s third world nation... There are places for that around other companies not markets...
Ugh, i hated this episode so much when it came out. A way to tame down and soften Marvel zombies indeed to the most basic, generic Zombie au ever.
I hated the comic, this is so much worse.
Saying Loki has bad writing is a crime to humanity.
watch my loki videos and tell me i'm wrong 🤷♂️ writing is not the show's strong suit, it just has good acting and music that hide it
We’ll see, also these are great videos, keep up the good work. Please expose Agatha’s writing as trash.
@SpiderFan-e13 not worth the time. i don't really care about that show and the people who say it's good will change their minds within the next week, LOL

What if... this is an utterly garbage video?
that would be unfortunate, good thing we don't live in that universe
