The fact they returned the original demon's souls version of the weapon to elden ring is amazing. I used this on a strength intelligence build on ps3 demon's souls, wore the witch set and moon infused it, used only soul sorceries for magic, no fire. Was my favorite build in demon's souls, i also used a moon infused greatsword alongside it.
I may just mimic the build in elden ring some day cause why not lol. Would be interesting since theres literal moon spells now.

Crescent moon axe scales better with dex not Str, and the reason to use it is its unique heavy attacks
