Watched this video a month ago to decide on getting this bag. Now that it’s arrived, I’m watching it again as essentially the best instruction manual ever!
Felt compelled to add my $. 02. Aside from the MAJOR blunders relating to the KS campaign, the bag is great for what it is! It's not built for one bag travel!!! It's a gear bag. Many people are giving it a bum wrap because they are using it wrong (myself included). At first, I tried to use this as my everything bag. I was stuffing a laptop, my vanquest edc pouch, lunch box, jacket, phone... You name it, and I was stuffing it in there! I was super 😥 with the bag. Then, I had a realization... I didn't buy the bag to me my everything bag. I bought the damn thing to be a gear bag. It excels at that job! And works best with pouches or modular cubes. You don't need to buy their expensive modular components for it to be great. If you pack modular, you will love this bag. The bottom section is not really built for shoes (despite their advertising attempts), but it's a great place for a rain jacket, umbrella, or lunch box. Loading the exterior pocket does impact the interior pocket, but the exterior pocket is way nicer than most other pockets on other bags and still maintains a great aesthetic when full. Most bags look odd or bulky when you add something. Solution:pack something soft on the inside of that side of the bag. And gripes are gone. I use the side by side tech pouch and a hydro flask... No issues! The edc side access is a bit tight but I love that you can pack up and down. I store an extra reusable tote in the top section of the bag and it never interferes with the pen, notebook, or charging cable in that section. I tried to love the wool pocket for my phone, but it's dimensions just felt better suited for my vanquest edc pouch... Added benefit, filling that pocket more fully added rigidity to the bag and made the fidlocks easier to stick. And for the record, you will go crazy trying to slide to close. 100 times easier to push the closed and you hear a click as confirmation that it's closed. The best place for a backup battery is also the velcro flap of the lid. I have an anker battery in there and it adds weight to the lid which makes closing the lid much easier. Finally, "easy access" or " security pocket is best for carabiner type objects. I throw my hero clip in there and it's much easier to get out than my wallet or notebook (that's what the edc pocket is for). I think the laptop portion of this bag is perfect! If you are lugging around a 17 machine you should just give up on trying to have a sleek aesthetic in your bag and go for a big and rugged everything bag... Not what this bag was advertised as... It was advertised as a sleek carry that can be nodded to your carry with experimentation. It's not the best bag ever, but it's damn good for what it is and great as a gear bag for commuting or as an accessory to a roller /duffle when traveling.
Other reviewers also look only at the bottom compartment as an internal shoe compartment... Unzip and push the "shoe pouch" outside the bag and leave the zip flap open. You get a built in expansion of the internal volume, just as waterproof as if you pushed shoes into the bag. Great built in expansion opp being missed.
"Are you feeling lonely? Maybe you should buy a bag" lolol I'm not even interested in buying a bag at the moment, but I watch every single one of your videos cause your presentation is ace
Thanks, really enjoyed the video. I have the Errant and despite the smaller capacity works really well for my edc needs. Just one question please, I find the shoulder straps, very very uncomfortable. They're very stiff and it feels like all the weight is on the shoulder. Even if I use the chest strap which alleviates some of that weight on the shoulders, it's only partial. What has been your experience on the straps as they age? Do they get more comfortable? Or were you able to do something to make them more comfortable? Many thanks.
I love this bag. Everything about it works and I find new ways to use it every time I travel. The style is a bit high tech, but everything works so well and is incredibly built. The zippers and straps are super solid, and I'm finding all the organization pockets are useful. I only carry a toiletry bag now and keep my peripherals in the pockets. I can even carry a laptop and a 12.9 ipad, minimal clothes with no big deal. Love it.
Awesome! Thank you for the love. We are so glad you like the materials and internal organization that is put into this backpack. :) The ERRANT PACK is actually my personal favorite and has met all my expectations in an EDC. Cheers!
You are hilarious. I’ve been a fanatic about quality bags. Going back to school at 36...I’m shopping for a college backpack right now and I’m not sure if I’m watching these videos anymore for backpack information or pure entertainment 😂
Between the Prima and the Errant, I'm now sold on the updated version. Before seeing your reviews I was more sold on the Prima system. Love the enthusiasm, and I appreciate the hands on look paired with your humour, its pretty entertaining. Great stuff
I was about to buy the Aer Fit Pack 2.0 with the Black Friday sale. Thought I'd look at some reviews and spotted yours. That led me to your website where you listed this backpack as your top choice for a daily carry. Purchased this one instead. So pumped. Thanks, brother!
After 1 year usage it's a great backbag with some flaws imho: 1) The small straps to open the backbag on various clasps started to fall off and break after just a few month. 2) Most disappointing thing are the accessories like the aux compartment, which is just faulty design and doesn't hold properly at the top, since the wrong mounts were used. It makes it useless for everyone, since you can't trust it will hold while you hike or have so run a bit faster. So I don't recommend anyone to buy it, since it's also very pricy and not well thought through.
I could watch you talk about bags or whatever all day... you seem like a super chill dude, who would be a blast to grab a beer with. Thanks for the great review, I REALLY want the Errant pack now.
Just bought a wandrd prvke 21 but you just sold me on this one. I really enjoying my wandrd bag but this just has too many things I would want as a daily carry. I will keep the wandrd bag as excursion and hiking bag. Hope they give you a kickback, you are always the go to bag person, fight them on getting that fanny pack idea.
That’s funny because I am currently trying to decide between those two bags, and also the Dayfarer. It’s been a major dilemma for me. Can the Wandrd be used as a daily non camera bag? For a change of clothes (pants, shirt, sweater), a book, snacks, an umbrella. And also for light traveling? I’m no camera guy at all.
This man is the Jon Snow of bag reviews! 🙌 great work Chase! Does anyone else own the tan one? I'm having trouble judging the color through watching videos. How does it REALLY look??
I also think the black version of this looks super professional. I have slimmed down my rotation to a Filson 24 Tin Cloth, AER Commuter Bag, and a GR1. I’m catching feelings for this bag already and think it will bridge that gap between Indiana Jones and Tech Nerd. The GR1 drives me bonkers sometimes because it’s so like “I AM TACTICAL MALL NINJA” and the modularity can get cumbersome.
Collin Hayle it’s a 26. It is cumbersome. Does well as a minimal one bag on a trip. Which is why I am ordering this backpack in the video. It appears to check all ththe boxes especially in black. I don’t like colorways that attract a lot of attention to them.
Hey Chase, I never really post on RUclips. I love your channel and I feel that after watching all your vids that you are a man with values. I backed this campaign (have also backed 60 KS campaign so I know how things can be delayed and not go to plan) but Boundary haven't just made some mistakes here. They have flat out lied to their backers and treated this whole campaign with a lack of duty of care to their original customers. Cavin openly admitted last week on a live Q&A session that BS have sent out 1000's of website orders ahead of their KS backers, what I mean by that is if you ordered an Errant on their website in Jan, you could get it a week later (for only $10 more than the KS backers paid, so what's the advantage for backing this project early then!!), but the backers are still waiting for 6 months +. His excuse was they need revenue to continue.growing and didn't want to shut down website orders that are bring funds in. All us backers wanted was to be made priority and get our bags first as that's the whole point of KS and then BS can take care care of their WS pre-orders. So now they have run out of stock and many KS backers haven't received their bag. On top of that, the bag is different to what was originally advertised (ie the bag you got) it's now 3lbs. Is smaller than 24L (I calculated 16 usable Litres), changes to material, changes to accessories design, promise to manufacture to bluesign standards but now the bags don't have bluesign tags or certification. Lots of QC issues, my aux compartment simply keeps falling off and instead of replacing it BS have said they will make a new one and charge me for it. Chase do us all a favour and go on the Errant KS page and read the 22000 comments (which is unheard of on KS, with 90% of them unhappy backers) and then tell us that BS are a good company. The changes on the pack and the accessories also happened without any communication from BS (ie tota bag dimensions, look, type of zippers used etc, materials) so us backers received the order and then went huh? This is not what it looks like on their WS, so we complained and BS answer "oh yeh, btw we totally changed that, its a bummer but we decided it's better bigger and cheaper for us to manufacture without the aquagaurd zip. Also, consider the fact that this is BS second campaign and all these issues happened on the first campain to so they haven't learnt a thing and clearly don't care about their backers. I have had personal email correspondence with the BS team and every promise they make has not come true.. And when everything goes to the craphouse, the CEO should be there right? Well the shits hit the fan this week after BS promised, 100% promised to have ALL bags shipped out by Jan 24, they are now saying March - April and the Big Dog Cavin is putting up pics of his holiday to Paris on his Instagram while backers are waiting over a week to get one response to an email!! Plus their unethical marketing campaign of using click farms in India (look at the FB page, they only have 1K followers but on most of their posts they have 20K likes and thousands of comments from obvious fake accounts (click farms). Plus advertising on Google that they won the 2018 Carryology commuter bag of their when that isn't even a category on Carryology (although the Prima did win camera bag of the year, but it doesn't have the same ring to it does it). All I am saying is you have a lot of influence bro. I backed this campaign based on your video. And at the time you would've had no idea how pear shaped things would become. Perhaps you could do a second review with the updated bag and comment on the changes that BS have made. The bag has gone from being a bargain EDC bag at $100USD that potentially could carry 24L, to now a 3lbs bag that can barely fit someones EDC. By my calculations it has 16-18L of useable space. My current EDC bag is 21L and can fit much more than the Errant. Just saying, things aren't as good as BS are making it out to be. I am very frustrated by their comments on this page saying they haven't been dishonest. That's a lie. Keep on keeping Chase, we love your work!
second this. although I don't mind the smaller volume, I do mind the changed of weight. But I do complain about is how arrogant boundary is. you can check their update page in Kickstarter they almost never said "sorry" even though the project have been derailed so much, and at every mistake they keep pointing fingers to suppliers, fulfillment centers, etc.
Patrick Hernandez They have putrid customer service. After taking my money they have after four months said they have run out of bags. WHAT? WHAT? Can they even do that? Yes they do it. Putrid customer service.
I'll definitely work to get my hands on a new version of the errant to compare with older. I've heard the rumblings about this. I feel bad for the Boundary Supply team... most people can't begin to imagine what it's like to bring something like this to market. Kickstarter is always a risk for this... but as i've said to other backers, at least when it comes you'll be stoked to be getting one of the most interesting daily carry bags of 2018-19. It's such. a. good. bag. I have to admit, I haven't seen the new changes yet, and the "such a good bag" is coming from my encounter with the prototype, tho. So, we'll see when i get my hands on one of the new ones. Sounds like that won't be for a little while... Want to say thanks to all you goddam lovely turkeys out there supporting indie business like this. Can get rough sometimes, but this shit has more intention in a quick-access pocket than most Timbuk2 bags have in the whole product. Break a leg out there!
@@chasereeves I get it you're hyped for the bag, and rightfully so. But what are your thoughts about good product coming from unethical company? its not even about the delay or changes. Its about attitude and trustworthiness.
Again, entertaining and good review at the same time. This backpack was finally something that seemed to be just what I was looking for ! I pondered quite a while between this and the wandrd prvke 21, but ended backing this. First time for me. And first time to put some real money into a backpack! Keep up the good work, I think it's amazing that you're starting to do reviews on other stuff as well, not only bags!
You missed the passthrough to the commuter pouch from the main organisational area. You could clip the clippy thing to a phone inside the pocket and charge it at the same time. Bringing the inside outside. The key clip thing isn't standard by-the-way. Great review, great bag, is now my daily driver. Oh yeah but the black one, not the faintly sickly beigy pukey one
I’ve been using this bag for over a year… it is not a bag for traveling This is a minimal edc backpack The materials are amazing, which drew me to this bag
Chase thanks for your thorough and ENTERTAINING review of this bag! I've been in the market for a great PERMANENT daily carry bag ever since I got the Shimoda Action X50 for my camera gear. The Shimoda showed me what a quality bag really feels like and I wanted the same for my daily carry. I've tried the Peak Design 45L Travel, Everyday 20L, eBags Pro Slim, and bags from Timbuk2 & LowePro. All of them GREAT bags but just not what I needed. The Errant seems like it has everything I need. It has the slot for the 12.9 iPad Pro (most only have slots for the smaller iPads) as well as my 15" MacBook Pro. Plus I bought the Boundary Lunch bag that fits in the bottom compartment so I only need ONE bag for work. I love out the Errant can be accessed by small zippered slots or opened wide for full access. Like You I tend to shop continuously for the "right" bag. It took me YEARS to find the right camera bag. I'm hoping the Errant is as good as you say it is! (Don't worry I'll let you know if it's not! ;-)) Thanks again for the review!
I'm glad I have found someone who loves bags as much as I do....my wife says its a sickness....she might be right. Although, I probably can't afford most of the amazing bags you review, I LOVE THIS BAG and will be getting one!! I truly enjoy your reviews, as they are honest, entertaining and very informative. Appreciate all you do, keep up the good work!
Thanks for the review Chase! I've been looking for exactly a bag like this, and I've wasted (?) so much time on your videos trying to find the perfect match. Immediately backed! Doesn't mean I'll stop watching, though, I need my daily dose of geeking out over bags. :)
So much potential in this bag. A shame they have still not delivered to their KS backers and the bags have a ton of quality control problems. I'm glad I flipped mine after a week of EDCing it.
What a roller coaster of a review. I went from loving it, to dismissing it, to loving it again. Either way, I can't run from you anymore Chase. subscribed.
I really do like that. I've been using a "swiss army" kinda backpack for years and I've always wanted one of those quick access pockets because I always do that half off rummage thing. Thats a great feature and I'd get it just for that
Chase. Great show you have. Have highly enjoyable and you are costing me money. Thank you I think. Question. With these bags many questions are being raised regarding quality of the bag. You have mentioned that the rough and tough bags are not your thing so when you mention build quality should I take it from a daily use point of view rather than a hiking point of view ?
According to you, which one is more better amongs the Opposethis Invisible Carryon, Aer Travel Pack 2 Small, Knack Pack, Nomatic Travel Pack, Tortuga Setout Laptop backpack or Setout Divide, and the Topo Designs Global Briefcase 3 Day. Tom Bihn, Cotopaxi allpa 35 L And Boundary Supply? The comparison including price, model, water resistent, volume that can load and modular system, and usefull for everything activities and also the comfort for business meeting and one week travelling and hiking. I mean for cross over activities. Thank you.
I'm tempted to get it. I see other reviewers get upset with the compartments because if you use it, it tends to conflict with another compartment. I don't really need it, I'm more of a pouches type of person. I'm interested, but I don't like how a lot of the reviews reflect on the lack of communication / wait time to get the bags. Would love to try it for all my trips.
Nice review! Errant vs the Everyman Hideout Pack; which one would be better for the travel/weekend trips? My feeling says that the Everyman has a bit more space
Hi, really like your videos. Pretty sure I watch all your videos before ordering my backpack. I almost ordered THE ERRANT PACK but I went for the X-PAC ERRANT instead. Apparently it's made out of some indestructible kevlar based material. Would love to see you do a review on this new boundary supply material.
First of all thanks for explaining about Boundary supply’s Errant backpack, it’s really a unique backpack, and I am soo happy that I jumped into the perfect video, that backpack is seriously a multipurpose backpack I seriously want to get one for me in the future, but I think the only downside is that we can’t store shoes while we have those camera compartments, other than that this backpack is a bang for a buck, I can keep talking all day long about this thingy, but can’t do that, so thanks a ton for such a great video Chase ❤️👌🏻
Hello Chase, will you do, among all bags already tested, a comparison for the best back pack able to have a camera pouch insert? As a traveler being able to safely carry my DSLR in my back pack is a must
The Wandrd PRVKE is a great backpack for camera gear, but if you baby your lenses, you'll probably not be happy with how thin their dividers are. I'm perfectly fine with em, but some people think their lenses are extremely fragile.
Hi, I really like this bag with the way you described but I was not sold on the look. I like the peak design more. I ride motorcycle and did get rider shoe which needs a home. Can you recommand me something with the balance of the two?
Yo Chase. Thanks for the review. Best one by far. Do you think the water bottle pocket on the side would hold a 32oz Nalgene? Thanks and keep up the good work?
Commuter biker question: where do you put/attach your helmet? Another one on front external straps: aren’t they any? Where do I put my skateboard, coat when not needed or whatever unexpected bulky thing you want to attach to your bag when already fully packed? Thanks!
Hey bud. I found you over the peak design everyday back pack like 6 months ago. How the fuck do you not have 500,000 subs yet? You go WAYYYY into detail in your reviews!!
One of the main reasons I might get this bag is the shoe compartment, but it looks like it's somewhat confined. I wear a size 13 (US mens) shoe -- will that fit inside?
Hey Chase, now that you've had this bag for awhile, what are your thoughts on the nipple clips? Saw some other reviewers mentioned that it's very loose and doesn't close very well. Saw you had some trouble in your video as well. It's a deal breaker for me so I just wanted to ask.
Chase please get your hands on the new X-Pac versions of the Errant and Prima packs!! Definitely want to see a video and how they feel and carry vs the Kodra before I preorder an Errant!
Great video. Thanks. Would you be able to let us know the INTERNAL dimensions of the bag, specifically the biggest internal dimension (I'd call it "height" but others might call it "length")? I'm trying to find a bag that will fit a keyboard that is 47.5 cm long. Thanks!
Steve Wang They have putrid customer service. After taking my money they have after four months said they have run out of bags. WHAT? WHAT? Can they even do that? Yes they do it. Putrid customer service.
@@bainaborrokannago6517 I'd say the issue is more with information not being shared/ distributed when needed. A lot of the information needs to be dragged out just rather than Boundary Supply releasing it. They also do not have a good handle on supply and how their orders are being shipped. And this is their second Kickstarter, not their first rodeo.
Great video! I am excited about the back padding and ventilation of the bag when cycling. With a laptop, does it feel like you are wearing a back-board or does it feel comfortable when in an aggressive position on the bike? Thanks!
It seems they've gone for a little bit too nuts. The idea of roll top bags is you have the option to extend the top, but also close it down when not carrying a lot, and with the closing plastic you're sort of in non of those modes...plus they don't seem to shut most times! I like the rest of it though, its got lots of things im looking for in a bag.
This bag is definitely inspired by the Timbuk2 Robin backpack but with more organization. They even use the same magnetic clips made by Fidlock, (and has the same problem with that flap).
I've got the Prima bag, with the full on camera insert thing, and I love it... but I can see the Errant with the two camera-ish inserts being even more flexible for my uses... I may have to get the Errant and offer up the Prima for sale... eBay or something.
AHHHH! They used your idea!!! On the new Port Kitts, they have loops where you can attach the hip band to make it a small stand-alone bag. It's not a fanny pack, but I still think its sick. I'm glad they listened to you. Mine's gonna come in soon.
Hmm, this is a very nice bag, this might finally be what I have been looking for. I'm really liking it a lot. I'm about 85% sure I am going to buy this.
I ordered this bag for my boyfriend two weeks ago based on your review. Boundary supply’s customer service is horrible. I’ve emailed them 3 times because I haven’t received a shipping confirmation yet and their website says I should have received it in two business days. After emailing two email contracts listed on their site AND their contact us email (3 separate emails total sent) I have not heard back from them. I understand that it’s Christmas time and they may be swamped but I’m going to cancel my order and get my money back. What a shame. I was really excited about this bag.
Maranda Fitzhugh Hello . Something similar just happened to me . My impressions are that they are just a few people in the company and one of them is in charge of the customer service and also other things so the response may be delayed . So I have ordered about a month a half ago and the response i received was that even though the order was made through the official website they are still considered pre order and they will be starting shipping on dec 15. Here you will find the full answer . “ Brett Allen (Boundary Supply) Dec 4, 12:25 CST Hi Diego, Thank you for your patience while we get everything in order with our factory and fulfillment centers. Please check the Errant Journey Homepage for recent developments and watch this video explaining our production and fulfillment timeline. Our team will be updating the Errant Dashboard weekly with up to date information! As stated in the most recent Kickstarter update we are currently producing our bags and are scheduled to ship air freight to our fulfillment centers in early December 2018. Once they arrive our fulfillment partner will package your order and ship as soon as all items are available. When tracking is live you will receive a separate email so please keep an eye on your inbox. This bag has peaked my interest, especially once I saw that it will be available in Multicam-Black. However, for all its cool features it still appears to suffer form the same problem that so many bags suffer from: too many pockets. All those mini compartments will expand into the inside of the pack and will invariable limit what you’re wanting to fit into the main compartment. This is a flaw that I’ve experienced with just about every design I’ve owned, and one of the many reason I haven’t bought a new bag since owning a GR1 (its large and unobstructed interior allows the freedom to pack your bag how you want to). This is all personal preference, but I would love if Boundary Design were to make a more minimalist design in the future. They seem to show much promise as a company.
@@messmeister92 Sorry to tell you bro, but that's exactly what's happened. I received my bag 4 days agao and have already flipped it. If you put a water bottle in, put a couple of things in the side pocket and a laptop in, the main compartment is tiny. I could squeeze my PD tech pouch in their and a sweater and that's it... Also, the shoe compartment is advertise to fit US11 shoes, I'm US 11 and there is no way in hell my shoes would fit.... People on the KS page are saying their US 7 doesn't fit...
Patrick Hernandez I believe it, and knew I saw it coming but still wanted to try for myself. I haven’t gotten the back yet, but now I’m nervous. I wonder if +Chase Reeves has any thoughts or advice?
Hey Chase. Been thinking about this bag for a bit. Thanks for the in-depth review. Definitely gave me a chance to see all of the features better. Just went up on my 'wanting to buy' list. I did have an off topic question for you though. Given all the bags you've reviewed, do you accept requests to help someone find a bag that fits their needs, if provided a list of desired features? I feel like I've been looking for the perfect bag for forever, so I thought I'd just throw this out there. Either way, thanks for the review! Definitely earned a new subscriber today!
Have you had a chance to check out the GoBag 2, travel carry on? Would be interested in seeing a review for that one. Also can we get an updated Daily bag video of your top choices, since you've tried so many new ones?
Do you think this is a bag I could use to travel in Europe for 3 weeks? I like the sleekness of it, access inside. I like to travel fairly light but sometimes take too much. I'm 57, very athletic and don't want anything too bulky. Really looking for comfort when carrying on metros, to hotels, back and forth. I never check a bag. I really like the Tortuga but it seems like it is bulkier compared to this bag. But maybe I should go that way. Thanks.
Chase, I need your help! (1) Are all the zippers on this bag YKK? (interior and exterior) (2) How water resistant is the outside overall? Just to confirm, all the exterior zippers are YKK stormguard, correct? I have been watching you and your "business papers... man" reference for almost a year now, and finally I think it's about time that I buy a EDC bag that you recommend. haha Love your videos! Thank you!!
How much clothing fits inside that backpack? I have thought to buy this backpack. I would use it for the University and stay away from home for a weekend, would it be okay?
Wondering to back this bag - but it looks like it might gnaw a bit into the shoulders at the top part of the shoulder straps.. Any problems with this yet? Thanks for a thorough review!
Would love to know in your reviews if the straps have some sort of grip on the inside of the straps. Lots of people are one armers and if there is not texture the bag just slides off the shoulder.
When ever that instagram ad throws me a new bag I think is cool. I come to this channel to see if it's really cool. It's car fax for bags. Issa bag fax.
Curious about the "throw pocket" at the top of the clamshell opening. When it's full does it cause a bottleneck at the main flap opening? It seems like you'd need to maneuver around that pocket if you were loading some large items in through the top.

Maybe you should buy a bag"
lolol
I'm not even interested in buying a bag at the moment, but I watch every single one of your videos cause your presentation is ace
We couldn't agree more.
Anywhere you pause, you'll get a unique facial expression from Chase.
I have a condition.
Not surprised at all to see you here
Still love you though
I tried it, and it worked.
@@chasereeves your condition is the fact that you are bigger than any bag you could show here. Time for stage 2 of this ride...
@5:56
Great stuff
I always appreciate someone who swears tastefully
Those front lash points perfectly fit their "aux compartment" accessory bag which is the exact thing this bag needs to go from wow to WOW
Man that headphones pouch thing in the tech clamshell is absolutely beautiful
I was about to buy the Aer Fit Pack 2.0 with the Black Friday sale. Thought I'd look at some reviews and spotted yours. That led me to your website where you listed this backpack as your top choice for a daily carry. Purchased this one instead. So pumped. Thanks, brother!
I did exactly the same thing! Did Boundary Supply send you shipping notification yet?
@@brendanli good luck bro lol
I have bought both Aer Dayback and this bag at the same time. After a year I ended up like the Aer better.
After 1 year usage it's a great backbag with some flaws imho:
1) The small straps to open the backbag on various clasps started to fall off and break after just a few month.
Thanks alot Chase. I finally bought the first ever backpack that I extensively researched for myself. Awesome presentation and review!
Nyan Lin Soe what are your thoughts 5 months on ? Thinking of buying it soon , for commuting and day travelling ? Thanks ❤️
9:45 I screamed when the table started rising!
9:44 "Now, I bring this up because..." as he brings up his desk. Comedic Genius!
9:43 "I BRING THIS UP BECAUSE....." *bag literally comes up"
I also think the black version of this looks super professional.
Joshua Mueller what size is your GR1? I found the 26 liters to a bit cumbersome for daily use, the 21L was better for daily.
@@chasereeves this still on your list?
Again, entertaining and good review at the same time.
This backpack was finally something that seemed to be just what I was looking for ! I pondered quite a while between this and the wandrd prvke 21, but ended backing this. First time for me. And first time to put some real money into a backpack!
Keep up the good work, I think it's amazing that you're starting to do reviews on other stuff as well, not only bags!
It's worth the investment!
I’ve been using this bag for over a year… it is not a bag for traveling
This is a minimal edc backpack
The materials are amazing, which drew me to this bag
This one is only $110 on Indiegogo delivery in January though
Love the look of this bag. However, looks aside > Boundary Errant or Peak Design Everyday Backpack ?? Thanks for the tips
Watch both my vids critically and follow your heart! (And use my link if it’s easy either way pleeeeez :)
I did the same. I can't support a company with these. Values.
"Are you feeling depressed? Maybe just go on a hike with a bag that's good." Just Chase giving effective life advice casually.
What a roller coaster of a review. I went from loving it, to dismissing it, to loving it again. Either way, I can't run from you anymore Chase. subscribed.
Welcome home, Gabriel. 🙏
Hands down my favorite reviewer. I’ve just discovered this guy but the pure entertainment along with such an in depth review. Well done!
Merci!
I really do like that. I've been using a "swiss army" kinda backpack for years and I've always wanted one of those quick access pockets because I always do that half off rummage thing. Thats a great feature and I'd get it just for that
Design looks like it was inspired from those good ol brown paper bags and I am here for it
I’m normally considering things from my daily/urban/tech point of view.
Chase Reeves thanks. I appreciate the reply. I think the other comments were from hard core people.
"I bring this up..." (slowly raises tablet) ... no reference to dad level pun.... Classic.
Chase, I'm real interested in that clean, wooden overhead bookshelf. What is it and where can I get it/make it?
I’ve gone from wanting this bag to hating it to loving it again all because of this guy, exesorize me and my dad
Finally bought this bag because of your review! Cheers
I was going to get this bag but the close at the top would be too annoying for me. Everything else seems great!!!
Nice review! Errant vs the Everyman Hideout Pack; which one would be better for the travel/weekend trips? My feeling says that the Everyman has a bit more space
Everyman does have more space, totally.
I absolutely love how stoked this man is about this bag.
Any thoughts vs. the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L?
Hi, really like your videos. Pretty sure I watch all your videos before ordering my backpack. I almost ordered THE ERRANT PACK but I went for the X-PAC ERRANT instead. Apparently it's made out of some indestructible kevlar based material. Would love to see you do a review on this new boundary supply material.
The "business papers" line is getting more erotic with every new video
Best bag reviews on the webz!! Bought this bag through your link...you absolutely deserve to get paid! Thank you!
Alexandra MacLean how do you like it so far
If it only had a "Phft" Pocket...it would be perfect. Super stoked about this bag!
Commuter biker question: where do you put/attach your helmet?
Another one on front external straps: aren’t they any? Where do I put my skateboard, coat when not needed or whatever unexpected bulky thing you want to attach to your bag when already fully packed? Thanks!
They sell a strap set separately
This bag is actually pretty well priced on Kickstarter. 👌great value
How much space is left in the clamshell when you have a pair of shoes in there? Great video!
Definitely want to see a video and how they feel and carry vs the Kodra before I preorder an Errant!
which would you prefer? the prvke or the errant? daily carry with some light travel.
Great video. Thanks. Would you be able to let us know the INTERNAL dimensions of the bag, specifically the biggest internal dimension (I'd call it "height" but others might call it "length")? I'm trying to find a bag that will fit a keyboard that is 47.5 cm long. Thanks!
Do you like this color or would you go more with the grey or black?
If you have a moment Chase, please see the comments on their Kickstarter and Indegogo campaign and see how Boundary Supply treats their backers.
Chase, do you like this more or the Aer's Daypack more? I'm deciding to get one of them. Just nt sure which would be a better choice.
I'd... have to go with this one, personally.
@@chasereeves Do you have any backpacks that you prefer over the Errant backpack thats around the same size? Just being curious haha..
Opened the link and seems like it is not available anymore now. This bag looks amazing. Want it
Oh man what an awesome review! I would love to hear you review just about anything.
Josh Yeo and Chase are two favorite people on earth!
Great video! I am excited about the back padding and ventilation of the bag when cycling. With a laptop, does it feel like you are wearing a back-board or does it feel comfortable when in an aggressive position on the bike? Thanks!
Feels comfortable for a rigid, breathable pack to me.
Haha "I bring this up..." That was a great little moment.
LMAO, the preorder on Kickstarter throws you over to Indiegogo, and the preorder there kicks you back to Kickstarter!

I don’t know why I would do without your reviews!
How certain are you that will happen with this bag?
Chase Reeves I’m not; that’s why I’ve bought one 😉. Hopefully I’ll be proven wrong. Thanks for your review, it sent me over the edge to buy one!

Hey Chase, I see from the latest kickstarter update on the Errant, that they are adding Nywool to the commuter pocket
Whoa, nice!
awesome bag and review. Cant decide which color I should go for lol.
i'm between this bag and the wndrd pvrke 21L. It's tough choice.
Do you have a full sized numbered apple keyboard to see if it fits somewhere along with the laptop? Some people move around offices. Thanks.
OoO Interesting. Now I'm debating between the the Errant and Prima system. IDK which one to choose!
Nice looking bag. I would like to see a black color as well. Chase - how does this one compare to the Dayfarer? Which do you prefer of the two?
I definitely like the materials on this one more. But both bags are great. I’d probably go with whatever one I liked the look of more.
Thanks.
Yes, totally possible, but you’ll have to be the judge! Break a leg out there!
6:46 I believe that those latches are for their AUX compartment (that you can purchase for 55USD).
Chase, I need your help!
(1) Are all the zippers on this bag YKK? (interior and exterior)
(2) How water resistant is the outside overall? Just to confirm, all the exterior zippers are YKK stormguard, correct?
I have been watching you and your "business papers... man" reference for almost a year now, and finally I think it's about time that I buy a EDC bag that you recommend. haha Love your videos! Thank you!!
Thank you Chase! This sealed the deal for me.
Thanks for a thorough review!
the eyelets on the front are for the extra accessory. See their website.
Would love to know in your reviews if the straps have some sort of grip on the inside of the straps. Lots of people are one armers and if there is not texture the bag just slides off the shoulder.
How do you think this bag would handle textbooks and longer items since that headphone pouch seems to block tall items?
When ever that instagram ad throws me a new bag I think is cool. I come to this channel to see if it's really cool. It's car fax for bags. Issa bag fax.
Curious about the "throw pocket" at the top of the clamshell opening. When it's full does it cause a bottleneck at the main flap opening? It seems like you'd need to maneuver around that pocket if you were loading some large items in through the top.
Guys you cannot forget that this is around $100 on kickstarter. Nothing comes close for that price
