Switching to 12/12 tomorrow for my first legal grow, just a 3x3 patch comprised of 4 plants. This will be my red shirt baseline grow so nothing fancy like this, this time.

First things first, you’re a fantastic character GT. Don’t change a thing
Great stuff GT just started using this after getting Dailed in. I’m seeing every bit of 30-40 % larger buds on higher branches and 20-25 percent on the lower branches. Used at week 4 only and I’m at week 7 so we will see finally results soon.
That is the only chemical type of fertilizer I use. I mostly rely on a great soil with some silica, epsom salts, and cal-mag. Other than a PK booster all of my NPK amendments are organic in source. I am not a stickler for pure organic growing, but I like it's simplicity. I am also for using non-organic methods when it make sense. It's hard to argue with the results you get with a PK booster, so I use it. Best of both worlds.
There are omri listed pk boosters
incredible bulk is omri listed you can use it all the way to harvest. start small and work your way up. I increased feed amount by quarter tsp every water all the way up to 3 tsp a gal.

I was not aware of the incredible bulk. I'll check it out thanks! As I said, I am not a stickler for 100% organic. I use a combination of things but try to use as much on the organic side as makes sense.
@@jppagetoo give it a whirl man, do a side by side grow of a few clones and see which ones produce more that's what I did. Incredible bulk is a local product to me out of reno nv
Great video! I gave this on my first grow thinking I had a PK deficiency but it was actually excess that was causing the problem. Got worse with this and had to flush the 2 plants I used it on. So can definitely echo the only on HEALTHY plants lol
Yeah everyone always says it's a deficiency cause excess are rare but if it is an excess your screwing yourself if u add more I just went through that.

Always use MKP (0-52-34) throughout the whole flower stage. Recommended dosage is 0.5g per litre from the 4th week till finish… suggested dosage for first 4wks can be used at 0.25g.
That’s just MKP, I’ve got a bud booster that’s (0-32-28) that I’ll alternate during flower with another bud booster i have called MonstaBud - which also contains fulvic, humic and beeswax etc…
Another fantastic video GT. I'm still just top dressing with fresh FF soil no more than every 4th watering. Have not had nute burn yet and am working mainly working on plant morphology and watering correctly. Nodes stacking on branches! Thanks for everything.

Bud candy is pretty good but it’s just a sugar additive, big bud and I think bud ignitor and overdrive are also considered pk boost but not worth the money for 15 bottles in my opinion. Then if you try to only buy certain products you don’t get the results you should get

I used Bloom Yellow Bottle PK last grow. Works well.
You said in another video that "Budcandy" is used instead of Cal-mag from week 4 of flower onwards with every watering and nut feed. Are you confusing Budcandy with Overdrive for pK booster ?

Video and audio are both excellent. GT, are you adding the kool bloom on nute days with the micro as well? Koolbloom instead of bloom? Or are you using a pk boost by itself with water and feeding normally on other days?

Anyway. Question is. When you top . Do you only top the previous topped main sites. Or can you do the other boys that caught up from lower down.
Or the ones that come up after the lst ( I know you frown on lst. Works for me in the winter tho sir)
I'm always curious . After you top the first one. And then the 2 that come from that. Usually like 6 sites have caught up from the bottem and I always skip them when topping for the 3rd time.

Why does he frown on lst but not topping? Also for your question I'd say you could forsure if your still veging for a few weeks after but I'd only do it on thicker branches that can actually transport enough energy for two tops..but in my experience if you top more than once or twice anywhere you'll have more buds bud they'll be smaller forsure, diminishing returns ya know. But that's just me.
@@CornPop309 yano brother. I cant remember why exactly. It was an episode like 8 months back. I think it's just along the lines of keep it simple and don't fuck with it to much. Top. Don't touch it again till it's time to top. Instead of constantly tying shut down every few days to keep the canopy even. He has a simple method that works. And just tries to pass that on

You're absolutely right. I don't think he knows what he's talking about. Also, I just bought a brand new PK booster from culture biologix their PK booster is basically both of their kool bloom all in one in powder form and it carbon base not salt

My gh liquid koolbloom is 0-10-10 so not as concentrated as the dry version apparently. Also on a high frequency drain to waste fertigation schedule, i use it every feeding in flower. Like you said i start small like week 3 with .5-1ml per gal, and ramp up to 6ml per gallon in mid to end flower. I follow dr mj cocos chart and have had great success. Nice video ✌

Bud candy is advanced nutrients, carb product and is a 0-0-1.
That is pure expensive bullshit. One percent of potassium. It's a yoke. There's tons of better pk boosters.
I diched my hesi pk booster of 7.5 in late flowering
For pure synthetic product named "phosphite one" Looks clear as water.
Of 4-30-15. And it's a monster developer. Girls are in excess but the final product is also.
For an auto flower I start using a PK booster a week after buds start and continue until the finish line.

I would add that if you are growing more than 1 strain be careful because some plants can handle more than others. Don’t feed different strains the same amount of ferts. You’ll end up with one beautiful plant and 5 burnt ones
That's why it's always wise to go with a light feeding schedule and if needed just adjust accordingly from there.

I've been using Kool bloom for about a year now just a tiny bit at week 4 works wonders and I'll alternate with mighty bloom enhancer. I have pure Michigan going right now and mackinaw Island fudge in week 3 of flower so it's about that time. Focus

I used a local brand that is omri listed and did side by side grow had about 20% increase in harvest weight on the plants I used the PK booster

Plants can take up two forms of nitrogen: nitrate (NO3-) and ammonium (NH4+)

Hey GT love the info on PK Boosters, now when you feed them the booster should you still give them the bloom nutrients together or should I not give it to them together or should I just reduce the dosage of bloom nutrients when adding the PK booster? Girls are in 2nd of flower so I'm getting close to that time need your opinion GT don't want to burn them 🆘

I'm trying to make sense of athenas rep, telling me he aims to have a 15 ec runoff by the end of flower... because their "salts are higher quality, because they have their own mine " ..cpukdnt explain why, or if I can cut down the core product which is high nitrogen after flower and up the bloom powder.
