  • In this video I went to the One Garden Sustainability Festival with my Sony ZV-E10 camera and vintage Helios 44-2 lens to see if I could get usable stable 4k video footage without using a tripod or other stabilisation tools.
I was using the Sony ZV-E10 active stabilisation feature and trying to rest the body of the camera on my camera bag.
Some shots are better than others. Everything is still a bit too jumpy for my taste. I will continue to try out different combinations of lenses and supports until I find something that works for me.
The soundtrack is a new one I made over the weekend. The drums are played live on an AKAI pad controller fed through this bit of code I've been developing that lets me sound like I can play the drums much better than I actually can. Real drummers will probably disagree. The guitar track is a one take improvised take that had me juggling an ebow to get the long sustaining notes.
