What are your thoughts? would you use the ZVE10 for Photography?
Usually evfs are now unusual for some users as we are mostly adopted shooting with phone. So if some one can compromise with evf and better screen output its good to go with this one.
Best bang for the buck. Regarding your complaint on screen brightness, do you use sunny weather mode? It's actually brighter than the highest setting (+2). Photos are brilliant.
I am using it for Photography
@@momokomo7762 Im planning to move from a Nikon D3400 bcs I need video too (I mainly focus on product photography). Do you recommend this sony?
@@YuumChaak yeah I do recommend this sony! 😇
Thank you brother this was really helpful
very informative video, Thomas. But brrrro those photos look amazing!!!!
Those photos look amazing!
I started video work with a ZVE 10. And now I have a FX30 as my main camera and keep my ZV for Photography. The ZVE10 is such a bang for the buck camera. Especially paired with nice lenses !
agreed! hoping to get my hands on an fx30 or a6700 soon. seem like great cameras
Which lens would you suggest for photography under a minimum budget
@@zyzennn I started with the sigma 16 F1.4 as it's cheap and has a beautiful image and bokeh
Also for versatility, the Sigma 18-50 F2.8
Hello I'm a beginner. I wish to ask which budget lenses do you recommend for street photography and zoom in astrophotography. Thankyou
@@zyzennnI would suggest Checking out 18 135 by Sony.
Hi, I love your content! Quick question: is it true that this camera doesn't have a minimum shutter speed option in aperture priority mode?
Great job with your videos by the way.
thanks!
I started with a used a6400 and like you said, the battery does suck on it but it's a great camera. The EVF is what made me pick that over the ZV-E10.
I find i dont use an EVF all that often, but i definitely miss it when i dont have it as an option
I was on the fence about this camera cause i knew the video was amazing but i wasnt sure about the photography aspect and your pictures just sold me on it.
Why tho? It has exact same sensor as the a6100/a6400. Its video based on features and it has no EVF, but its generally an amazing all around camera. Compact APSC
Thank you, Thomas. I should be getting my ZV-E10 from Amazon tomorrow. I'll be using it to start my youtube channel soon. I'm in the process of buying my equipment to build my channel with. It'll be my second camera ever. I have two Go Pro Hero 9 cameras that I'm looking to outfit with custom cages and on-board Rode mics for my B-roll cameras until I can upgrade to the FX30 later on as my channel progresses.
Sounds like a great plan! I really don’t know much about GoPros to be honest! I’ll be looking forward to seeing your content with it!
Very useful video 🤝🏻
thanks!
I've been binge watching videos about this camera for days and out of everybody else, you used it to take the nicest, juiciest photos that I've seen. I don't have your skills, lenses and editing software, LUTs, but I'm simply blown away.
My camera will arrive in 2 days and I will pair or with the DJI RS 3 mini as I'm planning on getting into car videography with it, but I will be taking lots of photos as well. I'm just curious to see what my experience will be with the kit lens. This is also my first Sony camera to which I'll be upgrading from my Nikon D5300.
Wow man thanks for that! The Nikon D5300 was where i started! You’ll love it!
There must be a theme here, as my camera to date has been - the Nikon D5300 (!) and have just “upgraded” to a ZVE10 and an a6600!
My favourite lens with the Nikon was a Tamron 60mm. When I saw all the reviews of the Sigma 56mm 1.4 for Sony apsc, I was sold!
Thanks for sharing folks ❤
Thank you
Good video Thomas - I’m totally new to photography and just started my YT golf vlogging channel so would you recommend the ZV-E10 for that cheers
if it works within your budget and youre willing to learn how to get the most out of it then absolutely!
I have the zve10 as well and love it! The size and price is unbeatable. Been using the signa 16 for a while and now looking to get a second lens....oh let the internal debate and struggle begin :p
Haha i know the feeling! The sigma C series for Sony apsc is hard to beat!
What lens would you recommend for photography with Sony ZVE10?
Nice video! I have a doubt though, I have the budget for sony a7iv, but considering it's like 4x more expensive, I don't know if it is 4 times better, so would you still recommend zv e10 as better value for money or should I just buy a7iv once and use it for a long time?
I think there are a lot of great options in between those two options. Depends what you’re doing, and if you have lenses/budget for lenses. An a7iv is going to be a lot better for sure, but there’s things like the a6700 is fantastic, the a7c ii is a little cheaper than the a7iv
Thanks iam from Indonesia, and next week i will get my zv e10 .
Enjoy! It’s a great wee camera
Does it support Wifi Mic ....?
My concern about the zv e10 is the fact that it has no flash. I want to be able to take pictures with flash
I have a question im planning to buy the zve10 but i see on the internet about fungus and you need to buy a dry cabinet, do i need ? it necessary and a high maintenance camera?
All cameras are succeptible for fungus. Fungus can be acquired depending on how you care and store your camera
I am using Zv e10 with 50mm 1.8 lens. But I am not getting good sharpness for photos. The photos looks just a little bit higher quality than smartphone. Could you help me how to sort this please?
Which 50mm lens are you using? Sonys one? And is it the full frame model or the apsc model?
Hey, I own the nikon d5200 and I bought the zve10 only for video, I'm not a photographer or videographer, I just like photos and cameras instead of smatphones.
My question is, should I sell the nikon and invest in better photography lenses for the zve10 or should I keep the nikon for photos and the sony for video? Thank you in advance
what did you decide?
I’m planning to buy a camera, primarily for photography and looking for ZV E10. Should i buy it or should for some else camera in this approximate price range. Please guide me
Canon R50 is amazing for photography and it is in the same price range if not cheaper. It uses an almost identical sensor so the quality is the same but it has a viewfinder and more photo settings. Basically, for photos mainly go r50 and for video mainly go zve10
Is this worth getting if I already have an s23?
Wtf are you talking about
Yes, because shooting on a real cam is a different feeling than shooting on a little small sensor and camera that look like hotplates…
I really like your channel mate
I will be picking my zv e10 tomorrow
The ambition is for film, following your lead
Would love to see some footage of your cinema rig in action and the result, thanks.
Thanks man! I will do!
Better than canon eos 250d?
Never tried it honestly, if you have canon lenses already then probably worth looking at canon. But Sony is what I know and what I’m most familiar with using
watching this I'm thinking, should I listen to someone about cameras when this video has dogturd quality
