I've never replaced wheel bearings on anything before, much less a bush hog rotary cutter, but in this video I show how I replaced the wheel bearings on a 2615L legend bushhog.

Check to see if a boat bearing buddy will work on it, you can pump grease into it with a grease gun because it has a zero fitting on it.

Thanks for the advice, great idea. When we ordered the bearing kit, I had no idea what I was doing. When I finally got the pieces together and the wheel off, it was obvious and I thought I could have gotten a cheaper bearing from an auto parts store if I knew what I needed. Next time I will look for a greasable bearing with a zerck fitting as you suggest.
