2023 World Refugee Day

On June 20, 2023, DPSS came together with community, LA County, and LA City organizations to celebrate World Refugee Day at Gloria Molina Grand Park. The event honored the refugee community who enrich LA County and our nation while commemorating their efforts in search of a better life away from persecution and violence. The event featured live entertainment, community resources, and also raised awareness about the programs and services that are available to refugees needing assistance.
