The lies by the Guardian explained in 5 minutes.
thats exactly what I was thinking
ask the refugees about assad and his regime
you will know that this video is telling the truth because THEY ALL HATE ASSAD AND SAY HE IS THE CAUSE OF ALL SUFFERING
i am really suprised by how much poeple thinking that assad is the good side and the rest are all terrorists !!!
the poeple dying and the destroyed building and the plans that bombs the civilians are not actors and photoshop , they are REAL
wake up people
WAKE UP !!!ask the refugees about assad
@@redone4637 the refugees are against him they are strict sunni that support FSA dumb if you live in syria you can talk but you aren't living there like me so

First what does it tell you that all people who fled war are against him ? It tells you that he is the cause of their suffering
About the show ... Every one can make up stories and fake evidences
I have been following the syrian war since the very beginning so could all the news, turtoment videos by saa , all the dead children all the people saying they hate assad , all the civilian building destroyed by regime are all just actors and photoshop ... I can't believe they actually convinced you that the dictator is the good side and the sunnis population that are against him are all terrorists.
Media may lie and so do the journalists ... But can mellions of people decide make a lie and tell it to the world ? I doubt that
@@redone4637 i live in Syria LMAOOOO I know that Assad is good. People who fled support the FSA and say he is bad but only because his army is killing the FSA. And btw the FSA means free syrian army but they kill alawites so they aren't even there for "freedom" they are fake. Look at how beautiful Aleppo is turning after the liberation. And if Assad was that bad no one would vote for him. (He won the election in 2013 with above 80%)

SAMREZ-55 ?????
You can't say that without explaining.
SAMREZ-55 I'm syrian and this mostly accurate. The FSA in the first war was made up of defected syrian soliders who refused to shoot protestors. Even priminister riyad hijab of syria defected.
But now the FSA is mostly crushed after 7 years of assad using weapons of mass destruction. Now the most powerful rebels are alquada rebels.
So assad is responsible for the war and he is also responsible for crushing the syrian revolutionist rebels. And he is responsible for most of the casualties killed in the war because he dops missile bombs and barrel bombs on civilians populated areas and on your homes. My home was destroyed by a rocket from the regime.

Top notch propaganda, right there.
Bullshit.
care to explain in detail then?
It's too early to make documentaries or 5min summaries on it. We don't know who has what agenda. We can't afford to pick sides just yet by default because it could backfire horribly. The rebel groups have shown they can't be trusted and that they can't work with each other because they hate each other out of religious reasons too. Assad represents an old dictatorial cast of society but without him the country would fall into complete chaos. This 5min explanation is too shallow and it just draws a very naive line of dictator bad, civilians victims. History shows that this is very often catastrophically deceptive. So intervention in this situation could be the worst thing anyone could possibly do. IMO, at the end of this, we'll see 3 new small countries emerge just like in the balkans because you can't force ethnically diverse people to live under one roof.when the main force of oppression is gone.
Finally someone who isn't stupid. Assad is a dictator, the rebels are terrorists.
I do have to agree.
MilitantOldLady Why do you think the UN opposes intervention into the country and the US doesn't? China refuses intervention too. I don't recall anywhere in the video it says "The Guradian" supports {Who'evers interests here}?
Yes, it was short (thats the point of a short) Would you have wanted more information on the matter?
This is more complicated situation than just "picking a side" (like you have clearly stated). People from all walks of life from NZ to Switzerland, that have Syrian decent are trying to unify under a single country. Im interested to see this play out.
If one is ready to form an opinion out of a 5mins youtube video, he is defining the level of his intelligence to exactly that amount.

I am confused by the bullshit that "the guardian" comes up with.
Actually, the colonialist powers divided the middle east after WW2.
France controlled Syria. Which is probably why it belongs to the nations that are the more fucked up ones.
And no. Al Assad isn't even close to the most brutal force in Syria.
Among the demonstrators, were also an offshoot from the Muslim Brotherhood - Al Nusra, a faction that has since pledged allegiance to Al Qaeda. So no, the demonstrations weren't that peaceful. It is unclear who fired the first shots. There are many sources that state the government forces did, others point the finger to Al Nusra. Either way, Al Assad's government chose to generalize among the rebels and saw no difference between them.
Al Nusra masked its identity openly, as a democratic rebel group and was financed by the lovely and democracy loving CIA, together with other factions. The escalation of violence last year, in neighboring Iraq led to ISIS seizing large parts of Syria and the Syrian civil war became more complicated.
There was division amongst the rebels so they joined forces under one flag: the FSA (Free Syrian Army), but where each faction have their own motives, objectives and alliances.
Al Nusra, as a typical Islamist terrorist organization declared war on YPG (the Kurdistan based rebel faction that fights for a secular democracy) and ISIS (too similar to Al Nusra for both to coexist). They are also at war with the Syrian government, Hezbollah, Iran and Russia since a few months
ISIS is a terrorist organization based on national socialistic and Islamist ideals adopted for guerrilla tactics. They are at war with everyone. They were primarily funded from Saudi Arabia before they received the PR they have today.
FSA (except Al Nusra) are at war with Al Assad, ISIS, Hezbollah, Iran and Russia. You will find everything from secular rebels, fighting for freedom and democracy, to hardcore Islamist terrorists.
YPG are at war with ISIS and Al Nusra. Not a rebel faction, they are a self protection militia, killing Islamist terrorists.
The regime, Hezbollah, Iran and Russia are at war with the FSA and ISIS. Syria would have collapsed without Russia's intervention. Barrel bombs are dropped on enemy positions. Killing civilians in large amounts.
CIA - fucking shit up, everywhere they go. The closest we get of the horsemen of the apocalypse in reality. Funded Al Nusra and other factions of the FSA in the beginning of the conflict.
The anti- ISIS coalition - a coalition with different agendas. USA bombs ISIS and Al Nusra (which they used to fund). Saudi Arabia funded ISIS and are now supporting their defeat, still funding Al Nusra. Turkey are bombing the YPG. Out of over 70 coalition members, only 11 are bombing something. Out of these, the targets can vary a lot.
It's a mess. And as always, we, the west are on the wrong side. Instead of funding the only group that have a similar ideology to us (YPG), we funded the FSA, which includes allies of Al Qaeda. As of now, the best for Syria would probably be to let Al Assad seize power again.
Troll Master
thank you for taking the time to explain this mess to me. i know i'm pathetically uninformed about this, so i thank you for your information. truly.
+Chas Freeman Assad is not sunni. And this video doesnt explain nothing, just shit ! The syrian or ''3d little world war'' is more than just fight between muslims and non muslims.
As a Syrian , I disagree with this explanation , none of it is true.
Tons of people have waken up. Rip propaganda medias
Don't trust The Guardian
How are you not gunna mention isis and the Kurds at all?
Max E Gonzales amen to that.
misinformation
This is what the US government want you to know...but the reality is completely different. No mention of CIA agitation over the last 10 years in Syria for example. Fortunately the only people who would believe this cartoon is people who watch cartoons.
Which is something like 75% of the US population -.-
Fuck
The Assad government didn't side with the Alawites over the Sunnis at all. In fact everyone in the Arab world knows that the Alawites are by far the poorest group in Syria. And the Syrian government is mostly Sunni, as well as the army. Assad is not sectarian- the rebels are completely sectarian though.
assad even protects the Christians that live in Syria
And you know that from your wild experience in the Syrian culture and community
it pisses me off all people on youtube turn into pro experts in the fucking Syrian war
well let me tell you that I spent the past 17 years of my life in Syria and no the rule the country and they are rich as fuck and in fact the reason the revolution began because an alawits leader cut of the penis of a 12 year old kid who cussed the president btw alawits killed 100 k sunnis 40 years ago when Assad's father used to ruled but of course no one would believe me cuz I support FSa although I am a Syrian atheist oh well just wanted to express what I know which is a lot more than all of you do cuz I was in the frontlines of the revolution
you know that Bachar al assad is a Alawite shia muslims like his father hafez al assad. The conflict is against shia muslims christians kurds(mostly sunni) druze against what looks like a mujahedin
DuSky But in the medieval time and forward the sunni committed genocide on the alawites and chased them to the mountains so its a wheel going around
PowermanGustav listen buddy I don't know where did you get your information from but I can assure you its wrong in the old times Hafez Al-Assad who is the current president father killed over 100 thousand sunnis in Aleppo cuz they were against him and he was the Ex-president Alwait always were the strongest ..and btw Shia and Alawits are 2 different religions and true kurds are not taking a part in the conflict they want there own territory I wouldn't blame them and Christians some are with Assad and some with rebels and when I say REBELS that does NOT include radical sunnis or extremists because FSA are fighting them 2 actually the radicals killed an FSA commander 2 months ago ..
First 5 seconds of the animation and its lying
All of that is not true bashar AL_Asaad he is the greatest man in the world
EU, NATO caused all this madness
... how? by existing and being democratic?
Alex R-T they were also democratic as they sold weapons to taliban during soviet invasion, what destroyed a whole country, the people lost their secularized social government to a barbaric radical regime of taliban. all became clear first after retreat of soviets, what begs the question when we find the truth behind the syrian war out.
KingExituS Last time i checked the vast majority of weaponry in both Assad's regime and in rebel use are Russian. I wouldn't then blame the Russian's for the Syrian war...
KingExituS So you would have rather Afghanistan became a soviet republic? The mujaheddin were used shortsightedly and America can't seem to understand that the only effective foreign wars they've ever fought end with investment in the region.
Alex R-T yes i do. i don't think the whole thing about mujahideen was a simple plan to make russians retreat. i think us knew from the beginnng where they were heading to and i'm pretty sure they don't care about afghanistan and establishing peace in the area. their invesments just sound like you busting somebody's legs and offering him help, while he couldn't even get up anymore without other's help. (at least in afghanistan case)
I think the main problem here, and this 5 minute bit only touched on it briefly, is the meddling of European powers in the affairs of the Middle East. The British and French drew the borders that have resulted in a centuries worth of conflict.
Lying
Shut up you tinfoil hatter. Quit watching InfoWars, RT, Sputnik, and Press TV.
@@thewisp7447 31 thumbs up for the "foil hatter," ZERO for you. Are you sure it isn't YOU who's swimming in seas of disinfo?
@@inaistat Oh look, classic "muh the corporate sheeple". Let's see, I don't watch InfoWars, Icke, RT, or Sputnik. Somehow, they put Fox "News" to shame. I barely watch CNN anymore.
I love going back to watch old western video journalism on world events to see how terrible they are at analyzing and predicting
They do it knowingly
Always good to know the American point of view of this conflict.
I thought Guardian was a British newspaper
@Zain Gardezi except that this time a war started without the US being involved. Disappointed?
It was always the American point of view
@@Conn30Mtenor except that they are involved and steal resources from Syria every day
@@Conn30Mtenor USA was very much involved in this war, like nearly in all war.
Forgot the Part where CIA Sponsored the Arab Springs.
I didn't hear America anywhere, who is actually the instigator of this instability.
vikash kashyap how about you just go somewhere else to circlejerk about your absurd conspiracy theories, boy?
Indian detected opinion rejected
The sick way Americans write history.
should've been a part of the UK and never got independent.
This is the UK paper
The rebels are not syrian people . We all know the reason why this is happening to syria its either they dont have central bank own bu rotchild(i dont know if thats the correct spelling hahaha) or because of the gas in syria .
Assad paid Russia and China for protection with oil, Obama created Isis to get oil for George Soros, Assad pays for his crimes, same as Obama, Hillary did to the media and congress for his crimes, Obama supported Hezbolla, Isis, to get the oil for George Soros, as Soros said who dominated oil, dominated the world, as China and Russia has power in middle east the only way to obtain the power is creating terrorists, as Obama did, with Isis, Hezbollah etc to maintain the power for Soros and all deep state
Look, more circlejerking tinfoil hatters
"Assad will fall eventually " next joke plz!
Assad will stay in power for eternity [..zing]
He will absolutely FALL Sooner or later!!
Darkness never wins😊
I hope he doesn't fall
but if he does i expect to be because he can no longer serve his people, not because his role does't suit US interests
+iseefurtherO Let's pray for that.
iseefurtherO how can a person killing his people serve them?! U make no sense..
They even lied in the title that this is 5 minutes long - they continued to lie from there.
VeganRevolution
1. I'm assuming the credits don't count
2. Evidence please?
This doesn't explain even 10% of the whole conflict
this is a very biased presentation.
"Assad will fall"
Assad: and I took that personally
Love to see the American point of view.
Dont try to fool us
Tuska Da Choppa Killa oh go away. Now I am really triggered
