One of the greatest bands/music projects ever. The fact that they actually came up with a third album that excelled all the high expectations after 12 years is unheard of... and after that, they even released "Chase the tear". What an outstanding achievement.
Looking out, looking in Going where never been Running round My defenses Been afraid, felt the grain Open doorways full of shame My own life I resented Winter sigh summer's gone Holding off tomorrow's sorrow Rushing out, Rushing in Losing out, losing the Identity of my heart Didn't fold, chase the tear Never let go, now I'm there It's over, it's over Winter sigh, summer's gone Holding off tomorrow's sorrow So I won't anymore
I love how much this band has evolved. They originally started with Beth minimalistically speaking to simple trip-hop beats, and over time they've incorporated more melody and intricasy to the actual music. This is a really interesting direction they're moving in.
Nothing can replace Portishead. They are one of a kind. But there are substituts, not quite as good as the real one - but maybe enough to soften the withdrawel... like "Ingrid Schroeder - Paint you blue" (1996) "Crustation - Down down" (1997) "Dot Allison - Colour me" (1999) "Esthero - Swallow me" (1998) "Supreme Beings of Leisure - Truth from Fiction" (1998) "Lovage - To catch a thief" (2001) ...let me know if you need more ;-)

AmaZZZing British band. Portishead was and is still such an original and groundbreaking band.. Been texting my fellow Americans to help them see the light... Thanks. JYO
amazing track. Bristols a city i would love to live in. Great musical place with guys like Massive Attack, Tricky, Kosheen, Roni Size, Smith and Mighty, AllFlaws cutting edge musicians and thats just a few of many acts listed.
this is their newest album? sweet! long live portishead! the show Numb3rs ended an episode with the song glory box, and Kiss of Fire, a movie, had it in there too.

No me estoy quejando, solo escribi lo que pensaba de este tema, eso es todo.. ¿acaso para eso no es este espacio de ''Comentarios''? No voy a decir que es una gran cancion solo porque es un gran grupo, me parece una cancion comun y corriente.

Looking out, looking in
Going where never been
Running round
My defenses
Been afraid, felt the grain
Open doorways full of shame
My own life

Winter sigh summer's gone
Holding off tomorrow's sorrow
Rushing out, Rushing in
Losing out, losing the
Identity of my heart
Didn't fold, chase the tear
Never let go, now I'm there
It's over, it's over

Holding off tomorrow's sorrow
So I won't anymore

Vždycky radost vidět krajana poslouchajícího Portishead.

I'm die hard fan from Taipei, Taiwan. There's no other band that can exceed this one.. in terms of musical style or the lyrical presentation. Amen.

My obsession, depressing, a nightmare, the band of my life, I love you guys. ciao.
I like how they keep making new sounds. They are not stuck in a rut at all. Beth looks as happy as ever, of course.
Con ésta música crecí, es la música que amo y será la que me acompañará el resto de mi vida como mi único tesoro.
Serene & kinetic. Ethereal & propulsive. Portishead is sui generis. This is one of my all time favorite tunes.
Beth Gibbons is a fantastic human. Look at how rad she is.
look at her go!
Right off the bat, this song gets you movin' (:
🏃🏽♂️
those vocals take me to another place, another time, another feelings

it looks like a very interesting direction for portishead: reducion, and more elctronic and monotonic. hell yeah
Great Muzik!!
THANK YOU, Portishead!!!!
Me too TWICE in NYC!!!!!!!!!
This New Exclusive Track is 4 years old... That is NEW for Portishead! :D
it's pretty different with older material, but -I think
after Third... portishead was going to be a bit more electro than trip-hop...
it's still has of course its escence...
Beth sounds amazing...
I loved the lyrics

Love this song. For some reason it sounds like it could fit perfectly into the Scarface sountrack...
this is reel music !
This is amazing
they could have easily done the same thing and made millions but they did their own thing, and i thank them for it
It sounds similar to Caperucita Feroz, by the rock band Orquesta Mondragon, from Spain.
Quality!!!!
I love it, relax in 101%...
