Would appreciate some advice, please. My wife and I want to buy a Sportspal. Our usage would be approximately 75% lake fishing and 25% floating streams. We have a 2.5 hp long shaft Suzuki four stroke. Not sure whether to buy 13’7”pointy, 13’7” narrow square stern, 13”7” wide stern, or longer narrow/wide stern 15’ or 16’? Would a 20” shaft still be appropriate on narrow or wide stern? What would you recommend, please? Your advice appreciated - sorry to be annoying! Butch
The pointed canoes are a little tricky with the gas motor as it's out the side and start moving as soon as they start running, so one has to be ready to go I use the wide and love it, but I never paddle as wide transom canoes paddle like a boat. The square stern would take a motor as well as the wide transom while still paddling like a canoe and only going up a little room in the stern area. Hopefully, there's something in there that you can use. Cheers
Awesome . Looks like it would make a great musky lure
And that looks pretty cool

Very helpful - thank you very much!
Does the duck spit water up with its feet or does it just spin in the water
Feet spin around and throw water
