To withdraw and flank charge, you would need to pivot on your center after an inch withdraw. Could you make that pivot to charge? My group rules as a no unless a square base. (titans and heros)
Unfortunately for Andrew yes you can. Regiments of cavalry, infantry and heavy infantry all have sufficient space to pivot 90 degrees after the withdraw. Brinton Williams has a very helpful article on dash28 titled "You can do that? Kings of War gotcha moves and how to prevent them"
