Here she talks about how this passion blossomed when she was just a little child and how, in fifteen years, it will be her home: “Some of you might call it the Red Planet. Even though I'm overexcited that I will be alive to see you arriving in Mars, I can't avoid other thoughts I have when thinking about space travel.
I truly believe that mankind ultimate goal is space exploration, but I wish that we would have solved our global problems before we reach and colonize other planets, so that we can do it for the right reasons, to explore, to learn, but not for profit.
Hopefully your space adventure, which I will be following, will help mankind realize that we are all the same and, to evolve, we have to help each other reach our potentials, like your dad did to you, not continue with this struggle for power that makes noone happy.

she's pursuing a BS degree in astrobiology. she'd like to get an MS or even PhD in astrobiology, but unfortunately astrobiology will only ever be BS.

Whenever the first mission launches, first of all I hope it's crewed entirely by dedicated astronauts and colonists like this young woman, secondly, the first supplies rocket should be sent first thing after they set up camp, just in case, with several more following. It's going to be a Herculean task. I wish them total success.

My parents absolutely support me, but they have limitations. They didn't allow me to study abroad and having jobs outside my province, IDK maybe they are worrying myself too much, as I am the only child in my family, but still, I want to cross my boundaries, fly to another country and see peoples with a different perspective. How if you become me?
