You sound soooooo excited, and super optimistic, and encouraging to people. Maybe you will slow down just a bit in your communication (way too fast, not enough pauses to allow listeners to also pause, wheh), but awesome. Keep doing exactly what you want, keep pushing yourself to learn everything, and your path will be one of fascination and challenge and exploration. As a former teacher (20 years), I can see you realizing your dreams, just keep swimming (Dory reference). How you spend your "free" time will determine if this happens or not. Find out what others have done in order to reach their dreams (astronaut or food psychologist or whatever) and do the same, but add more so you bring more to the table than all those other youngsters who are competing for the position.

My favorite thing to do is put on an excellent sounding pair of headphones and watch rocket launches that have the proper audio levels. Then turn it up to the volume it should be and wow!! It has literally brought tears to my eyes, i had NO control over this, i got a little short of breath too!!
Even if it's more than likely that SpaceX will go to Mars before NASA, or may be they will have a joint mission, either way, SpaceX should let this passionate and brave girl be the first person to set foot on Mars. They should have her in their first human mission to Mars and let her do the honours of "the giant leap for mankind", coz she totally deserves it!

Why? What is so bad on Earth that you want to go to a lifeless rock? How about we improve Earth first. Maybe in 200 years time when our robots have created a habitable shelter there and supply sustainable energy/food/resources, not to mention breathable air.

Don't pamper spoilt brats, if she pioneers business in that direction whilst upholding moral ethics, good for her. Right now she is not in a position to decide what priorities the rest of us should pursue.
