Hey man thanks for this video. I did the swap and looks great. Wondering if you have ever cleaned oxidation off your rims? Im getting alot of oxidation, and dont want to ruin the rim by removing with products that will hurt the rim. Im using 0000 steel wool, and a polish. Maybe you have done differently? Im assuming its a standard aluminum rim. Im assuming a clear coat after cleaning. Any experience on this with your raider?
It's nice. I find it is easier with cornering and doesn't feel so stiff straight up an down. Both my stryker and Raider with the 210 felt like it was a flat spot and it's less effort to lean now with 240s on them.
How wide is the Raider's rim. I wonder if I can put a 240mm on my Yamaha Warrior. Any input would be appreciated. (By the way, I am running a 200/50/17 on it now)
From what I have seen the warrior requires a different swing arm to fit it and possibly a rim too, I'm not sure. I've never had any experience with the warrior myself just a stryker and Raider.
I actually used to use a car jack and put it on jack stands. But I ended up getting this guy www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/motomaster-motorcycle-atv-jack-1500-lb-0091015p.html#srp
I put a 240 on my 2013 Raider, fits and runs fine.

I had intermittent rattling on my raider. Ended up being the license plate and plate frame. Had to stick a couple pieces of foam tape in between.
Where did you get that sissy bar rack?
Is that 240 on a stock rim? What is factory rear?
Yes stock rim! And factory size is a 210
Where did you get the passenger sissy bar?
Came with the bike from the dealer. Believe they are yamaha oem stuff.
I have a Stryker it runs 210
How’s that ride with the 240 ? I’m thinking to put it on mine
Thanks for doing the video

so there is space to put a wider tire than what comes with the bike? did you have to widen the frame or other modification to fit in a wider tire?
No modifications necessary. It fits perfectly.
@@306garage thx. I guess the rim has to be new as well and we can't use the 220 rim right?
Nope same rim as stock!

@@306garage oh, okay. Again, thanks for your advice.
Which motorcycle lift/jack do you use?
