Thing people don’t realize is flacco played the easy part of our schedule and still turned the ball over at an extremely high rate and unfortunately that doomed us in the playoffs
He was a great fit for stefanski’s case keenum type offense but i think dorsey’s offense mixed with stefanski will be a great mix for DW

When I have a full season of tape to watch I’ll give you my opinion on Watson,he’s played 12 games in three years.
I believe the Browns have had a really successful offseason. All key performers have stayed, and there have been targeted reinforcements such as Jerry Jeudy, Jordan Hicks (who would have had around 140 tackles if he had played 17 games), and Jefferson, who recorded 6 sacks last year.
Additionally, all the injured players are returning. This includes Watson, Chubb, Delpit, the three best tackles, and McLeod.
All this list is, is a QB ranking not a roster rank.

@@scottgreen2042texans beat up an already hurt browns football team and Flacco was qb and threw not one but two picks watson wasn’t out there so him “sucking” is irrelevant to that game. Also not saying that to take away from the Texans but let’s see both teams with all of their players healthy before we use that to argue a point.

Last year was last year looking at 24 were better than 12th even if Watson is just average there defense

I agree browns have a top 5 roster if you exclude qb deshaun watson. They team is solid to great at almost every position. I cant believe how bad watson has played over the last 2 years. Ranking 53rd in pff grade since becoming a brown and 38th in qbr is mind blowing.
If only pff actually meant anything lol The guy hasn't played half as bad as people who don't watch the browns make him out to be .
he really wasnt that bad when he started. excluding the monsoon start he was 7th in epa/play in 2023 of all quarterbacks, which included his injured 2 pick start before he was benched. you could see and read stats which state he's largely an above average quarterback if he only plays, which is his biggest issue
@@Gagan_S he has been beyond bad when he plays he ranks 53rd in pff grade among qualified passers over the last two years and 38th in qbr over that time. That only take in to account the 12 games he plays. Last year alone he ranked 29th in completion percentage and yards per game. He ranked 25th in passer rating too. Literally every standard individual passing stat he is terrible in 25th or lower. Nbc just ranked him the 24th best qb in the nfl, 9 spots below baker.

Really ? Hell no ! Now way ! If Watson plays like he has the last two years they Browns will be dog piled to last in the AFC North . They stuck a bandaid on the LB position . Just resigned the same defencive line that struggled stoping the run last year. Ward is not the same DB . Their safeties got smoked quit a few times last year and the DB play as a whole was not great. Ton's of missed tackles. The offense line was one of the best . But loosing Bill Calahan will impact them in both the rushing and passing game . They won't be able to count on Chubb being as dominant as he used to be ! Watson obviously is not the same . Juddy won't have the impact everyone is hoping for. Cooper , Njoku and moor finally came alive with Flacco . Watson. Has not even sniffed 300 yards . Flacco did it 4 times . Year two in Schwartz's scheme now that everyone has a year of tape on the way he likes to use the Browns personnel the defence won't be as dominant. Ravens , Bengals , Steelers all had better drafts and signed better free agents. Then their is the revamped coachi.g staff . Will they gell with the players as well as last years staff ? Watson looked frantic at times , lost and confused even. Now he has a new OC . I Just can not be optimistic about throwing away the future of the team for hopes and prayers . Two years in it has not looked very good at all ! Browns biggest issue is Paul Depodesta and his moneyball BS ! 7 years of his analytic based Moneyball BS approach is enough. The cheif stratagy officer obviously needs a new stratagy. Its not working !

Your right Dak Prescott is better than Deshawn Watson. Dak Prescott was top 3 in MVP voting, top 10 in passing yards, and led his team to the playoffs. What did Deshawn do?
Lmao dak was mvp runner up last year, he's also won twice as many playoff games as watson. Watson has only thrown 14 tds since 2020 bro. Last year watson threw 7 tds and had 6 turnovers ( 3 returned for tds)

what does TJ watt do on a physical pass rushing level better than myles garrett? myles has better conditioning, speed to power, agility, closing speed, get off, and he's a better run defense. there are analytical stats which proves all of this. sacks are largely the function of luck and how much you're double teamed, in which watt isnt even in the top 10 of edges who are double teamed
Garret has good a run defence ? Really ? Every big run given up last year was right at him . Garrett definitely jumps offsides and just stands their better than anyone in the league .
