8) King Mackerel, 7) Orange Roughy 6) Tilapia 5) Marlin 4) Eel 3) Basa 2) Fish from tropical reefs and warm waters 1) Farmed shrimp
I avoid farmed fish and all endangered species.
Always appreciate cutting to the chase. Thanks!
All farmed fish is bad for us because of the garbage they feed those fish.
I'm sad that Orange Roughy are endangered. They are the best flavored.
Thank you for getting right to the point 🎉
I'm going to eat what I want.
Moderation is key
WHY???
Plastic is in everything we eat.
Plastic in the delivery package of our food.
Plastic utensils. Plastic cups,
Plastic water bottles,
Pesticides, insecticides on vegtables and fruit.
Overfishing means old fish are not among the catch now.
Thank you for the information
I totally agree with you!!!
You already have cancer, enjoy life while you can.
💯% agree.
I eat in moderation but I'm getting to the point to where I don't want to hardly eat anything. Except maybe to keep my strength.
I live in Portland, Maine. It's supposed to be cleaner here than other places I've lived. That's not always the case though. I go out to clean up the Back Cove and encounter TONS of plastic garbage scraps from the reeds along the shore. I've gone out 43 times, as far as what I've journalized. I didn't write down every time I've gone out there though. I'll clean an area, then go back the next day and pick trash out of the same spot where I totally cleaned before. But at least I only need a 5 gallon bucket now. Before I needed kitchen garbage bags. But still, plastics everywhere I see, from shopping bags to lobster trap line. The bottle caps are all over, and I keep on finding syringe needles. Today was one of the rare times I didn't though.
Everything we eat is deadly so I guess I'm going to start eating air from now on.
Hahahahaha, like the air isn't poisoned on a daily basis?! Nothing is good anymore like it was 200 years ago. We've traded our safe food supply for a poisoned lazy lifestyle. Unfortunately there's no going back. It's going to get much worse in the years to come
Just put some white cloud gravy on it, then it'll taste better. Raw air is too bland.
Nope eat carbon dioxide, it's called photosynthesis.
@@unsafe_at_any_speedanything for a buck, even if it literally destroys the world.
@@mattneil1449⁰00⁰00❤..😅
Just compile a list. I not only eat all the fish I come across but try to eat them raw. And I am a healthy 87. Don't need to live much longer.
Best is wild or wild caught seafood, thank you and may God bless you
Yes, I live by that wild caught also but just recently my husband saw a video where planes were dumping farmed fish in the oceans at large. I got so sick in my gut about this. I’ll tell you, it is by the grace of God and much prayer that I consume anything . 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wild may be best until there is none left
They said they mislabel fish though, so how can you trust a label saying "wild caught"?
@@willoughby1888 We live by grace and prayer🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🤷🏽♀️
Smaller fish may have less mercury. So wild caught sardines might be pretty good.
Canada does not even put them on their list for Mercury content, wild sardines are super good for you.
Sardines taste awful !! 🥶
Thanks for your video!!!Its a dam shame we have ruined lakes rivers and oceans. Imagine the gall of nations testing nuclear bombs in the oceans on islands in the middle of nowhere. Instead of all these wasted resources on global warming why don't they try to heal some of the damage they have done to our most precious resource.
People use to be very ignorant and little dumb😊
Not much have changed.. look at all these wars...
Wrong u are !!Administering the dangerous issue of global warming is never a waste of funds 🫤!
Fish and other sea foods are way cleaner than all the beef, chicken and processed foods, etc that we consume has some kind of pesticide and other poison ingredients THEY keep adding to the foods we consume on a daily basis.
I'm sticking with my sea foods 🤔
Sea Creatures are actually Sea Roaches bc they help clean the Ocean from dirt and toxins mostly created by humans...so how are they safe for consumption🤔😏😮
And the seas are as polluted as the ground…
The bigger the fish, the more mercury it's contaminated with.
I'll stick to grass-fed, locally raised, two and four legged friends instead.
I pray and ask God to bless my food 🙏🏼
No doubt, but God gave u a brain too....btw! Seems God don't like no dummies. Stay smart. Stay informed.

An invisible sky daddy, which is not real, will do nothing for you. @@LS-pv4dh
There is no god😂
HORUS doesn't 'bless' food.
japanese has longlife span but they consumed lot of fish like tuna seems they have no problem about fish they even consumed it raw what can you say about it?
well, Japanese are lucky enough to be resistant to toxins and parasites , specially after 2ed world War.
Long life primarily due to the fact they smoke like smokestacks. The nicotine in ciggies promotes healthy mitochondria, go figure?
Even veggies are grown in sprayed fields. I guess you should garden and hunt and fish on your own. Grow chickens and cattle.
"I guess you should garden and hunt and fish on your own. Grow chickens and cattle."
Well, govts are closing down farms and home grown operations left, right, and center, biden is trying to ban all guns which means no hunting, chickens lately have been infected w/the bird flu (even home chickens according to reports), and certain powers that be are taking issues w/cattle b/c their waste "destroys the environment." Good luck!
Wild catch never farmed raised and small portions
You didnt add farmed Salmon
Garbage
Eat fish sometimes not all d time, select those not mentioned on d list
Correct. Because it could be THE worst one 😮😮😮
That is why you pray over your food before you eat it
After praying the jump on the table and scream the Lord has saved me from this toxic food and then clap and dance around the restaurant or dinner table before throwing that fish in the trash, other words your prayer is meaningless.
😅😅😂😂😂
Want to hear more about whjch fish is safexto eat worldwide, including Australia, USA, UK, India & Srilanka?
Thank you for posting this concise link to avoid on the seafood menu. In the past, we had enjoyed both the Roughys (Orange and White) but learned of the overfishing and toxicity of the species, while being introduced to the Tilapia imports. The meaty texture and flavor was the allure, but unhealthy choices overrules the taste bud demands for my family. We further made the choice of Albacore tuna over the standard brands that contain Dolphins. The tuna fishermen's decision to not let go of his catch because he has Dolphins entangled in his nets with the tuna, apparently had some manufacturers labeling their product as "Dolphin free ".I am also seeking more information about the "wild caught " disclaimer that is now showing up on many "other " brands, even still marketed as Albacore.
Keep up your excellent advisements or respective cautions ! I know you only did eight reviews today's and that there's more to come. Thanks!
Fish that swim in that sun ray can penetrate (not the deep sea)
Sardine and Salmon are good.

THANK YOU FOR THIS VERY IMPORTANT INFO. ESPECIALLY FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES. FOR THE PEPLE WHO FEEL EATING SEAFOOD IN MODERATION, IS THE ANSWER, IT COULD BE DEADLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE CANCER. NOT SMART ADVISE AT ALL!
As to mercury, you can easily take a selenium supplement... Cheated Selenium is preffered, which is able to attach the mercury to itself and be flushed out of your system.!! That said, I have been using it for well over 2 decades, with no traceable problems, and besides that I eat very little of the fish your talking of.!! I mainly eat shellfish and lobster along with crab, salmon, Cod, shrimp, etc.. On occasion I will buy a nice Marlin or swordfish steak, but that i s minimal.!! In all....my fish consumption is small as compared to when I was much younger, and besides, the nutrients they provide can be obtain through other non water sources.!!
Thanks for the info!
Farming fresh water species introduces a lot of problems with bacteria. Salt water species do not contain bacteria in their meat like chicken. That is why you can eat salt water fish raw like in sushi. But all fresh water species can have a lot of bacteria and consequently a lot of antibiotics so that the fish lives long enough for you to eat.
For a future vidio, could you, would you kindly give us a list of all farmed fish, thankyou.
Thanks for sharing this… my fav is cod fish, tuna & king fish 🐟
Do you advice letting the shrimps or other fish in an aquarium to clean them before cooking?
Thank you Sir for letting us know
If you eat these fish every single day of your life you're in big trouble, but who eats these fish on a daily basis, no one...eating once in a while will not kill you folks...life is short, eat well-balanced diet...
I do...almost every single day...mostly sardines...love em
People don't listen. The Holy Scriptures tell people what types of fish 🐟🐠 to eat and what fish not to eat . Just plain hard headed for not listening. It's there for a reason. It was for the Israelites yes. But it was beneficial for all who listened. As this guy is teaching us why today.

Good presentation
World consumes 80% of farmed salmon which also can have health issue as farmed 5:43 prawns/shrimps
Kind of glad I have a fish and shellfish allergy. Makes life a bit dull because I can’t eat the seafood I liked when I was young. But there’s so much out there to just straight up avoid!
No frozen fish, no canned fish, no farmed fish, no fish of unknown source - resulting in hardly any fish maybe a “Bachforelle” (brown trout from a creek) high up in the Alps caught same day out of a known clean environment (or similar) 🤷♀️ oceans are polluted worldwide anyways
I eat whitting fish. Is it safer?
@@juliacolerobinson2265 🤷♀️ oceans are polluted anyways: Think about from where (which environment) is this fish coming from? What did that fish eat there? How old is that fish by age (eating more and more chemicals during lifetime)? How long is it already out of the water until you get it (should be not more than 4 hours out to be called fresh)? What is “safe”? You’re going to die anyway 😁
@@juliacolerobinson2265..whitting is a delicious fish and safe to eat..l catch mine at the surf .
Thank you
Forelle and Scholle (herring) 👍
I expected *tuna* to be on the list. It's a big fish, so it's top of the food chain, and it lives a long time.
Same here. Just to make me feel bad as I live of tuna cans...
Same here...
My doctor told me not to eat tuna.
I read yellowfin' tuna doesn't live so long in the sea and doesn't pick up so many toxins
I get my tuna from Portugal and Spain. I lived there and their waters in the Atlantic and the Azores are pristine. Online ❤️🤗
GOOD ADVICE THANKS
You can eat them all and be fine. It's about moderation. Same as with anything else.
Yes, I do not purchase Shrimp or any other kinds of shrimp and Salmon, from the far east including Vietnam. RUclips helped me with my decision 4 years ago approx.
I like fish in moderation, but no shellfish. I don't eat raw fish. Eating fruits and vegetables are the keys staying healthy. Keep smiling and have positive outlook in life with good heart towards nature, animals and people you meet along the way in this life. Help the needy if you can. Be kind to others.
We all try our utmost best for longevity but we forget what comes with it. Our site and vision become vulnerable, so are our movements, kidneys and liver. Overworked lungs. It's a lot! Enjoy your time here and beat it before you become a burden for the next generation! Sayonara !
One fish was left out Halibut from the Cook Inlet! In the 50’s and 60’s barge loads of batters were dumped in the shipping lanes in Kachemak Bay Homer Alaska!
I wouldn’t eat anything much over 50lbs!
Thank you for good information
I think the tilapias caught in the wild can be contaminated with mercury but here in the Philippines tilapia fish is cultured . The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources or BFAR makes sure that these fishes went through the correct process of culturing before selling it out to the market
Thank you sir for information about the fish
Add all crustaceans and catfish ...bottom feeders to clean the oceans and seas.
I wont give up my cat fish!! My favorite! I like blue gill too!

Excellent explanations and calmness voice to listen.

Cold water wild caught fish is the best. Hands down 60 years of fishing sport and commercial
How is farmed salmon not making it to the list, then farmed seabream, seabass and tuna?

I've heard that Tuna is very high in mercury due to its position on the food chain. I totally avoid Grouper and 'cuda with the ciguatera. A good one is lion fish specially since they are invasive and in So Fla it's open season..
Thanks for sharing…❤❤❤❤
I used to buy Tilapia imported from Taiwan because it cheap and has more meat, but then i stopped after i comepared between them and farm raised Tilapia raised in USA, i think they feed them with a lot of chemical and used a lot of preservatives, ect., and the one raised in USA is too small, seems more save to eat but ofcourse it has so much bones, and later somebody told me what people feed Tilapias in forereign countries, i would never buy it again even it is so cheap, sometimes i even feel like throw up thinking about that, yuck!!!
Give me some good ole channel catfish … maybe some brim and bass and I’ll be happy!! lol 😂😂
We got great channel cats in northern NY state. To bad the state let big business dump there trash in it. They do let us know what the acceptable limit of poison we should eat. Thanks NYS!
And perch!

Atlantic Salmon is farmed Norwegian salmon. Reports that since Monsanto was banned from selling some of their chemicals for agriculture, they use it to feed the salmon. It moves into the fat of the fish. If your salmon has more fat than usual, best to only eat it rarely.
Why farmed salmon and blue fin tuna, not here???
blue fin tuna is wiled and very expensive, so that is out of menu.
Thank you for the very useful information about fish species that should not be eaten
Great video. First this is way I don’t eat sushi, period. I pretty much stick to Alaskan caught salmon, Halibut, cod, Oregon coast dungarees crab and mybe cold water north Atlantic fish only.
Thank you to our host for this important segment. Learned a lot
THANKS ❤
I love salmon but i guess salmon are farmed as well.😢
supposedly, not wild caught
I've heard that most canned salmon is wild caught. Don't know if it's true tho. 🤷🏼
In fact I've never eaten any of these other fish or see them in stores but I live on the West Coast!
I NEVER 'Like' anything until I have seen or heard something to like. Mackerel also eats carrion. Any farmed fish should also be avoided.
I like flounder, haddock, and cod. I hope they're OK to eat.
WILD CAUGHT salmon, tuna & cod.. I’ve recently heard tuna has a lot of mercury?…
Albacore worse than skipjack ( which albacore eat thus concentrate mercury )
Eat SMALL/light tuna, it has a LOT LESS mercury. Have some today.
@@zengreen7 thank you!
What about Escolar?...Many times mislabeled as "White Tuna"...but it is not tuna...It is also known as the Diarrhea fish...I know..my family and I suffered from this fish...
RED SNAPPER, PARROT & PORGY ARE WHAT I EAT!
THANKS FOR THE INFO ESPECIALLY, SHRIMPS.
HARD TO FIND WILD SHRIMPS AT RESTAURANT DEPOT! 😅😂
Basa, oh no, I will not eat that fish again.....
Some enjoy eating fish harvested near the Fukushima power plant in Japan that melted down from the tidal wave.
Pollock and Halibut
Fish, is it safe and healthy to consum?
Very important !
Talipia are used worldwide for sewage treatment ponds they devour turd flakes. Ask anyone that has a waste water license. What would an unscrupulous person do sell them as fertilizer or fish think about it.
Moderation is the key
Many thanks for an informative programme. I am a seafood lover and am aware of the toxin ridden fish. One thing concerned me was the mention of red snapper which you mentioned. We catch our red snapper in the local ocean around the Australian coast. I try to avoid the larger fish and stick to catching those fish which measure between 21 centimetres to 45 centimetres in length. I would be interested to know your thoughts on ocean caught snapper, Flat Head (a delicious fish) King George Whiting, Australian Salmon that are caught in our oceans (the call them Australian Salmon but they are not really a salmon) Cheers mate. Look forward to hearing from you. .🐟🐟🐟
Will leaving the fish in an aquarium with clean water render cleaning the fish from mercury etc.
I don't think so
What types of shrimp are not safe to eat? Where from? How can we look out when buying?
Do not eat any thing, eat only grass pumpkin and live for hundred years.😂
😂😂😂😂 that's right
Beware..eating may be hazardous to your health 😮

So many dangerous fish to not consume. I would be terrified for my pregnant wife to eat any of these fish ! 🥶
Surprised you didn't mention farm raised salmon, especially Alantic farmed Salmon. They spray the pens with herbicides and pesticides. Wild caught Atlantic Salmon isn't that great either because of the pollution. Uou can cross all farm raised fish off my list. Plus you have to be careful some prepackaged fish that's labled wild caught isn't. There's a little square box on packaging with a number uder it. You can Google it and find out if it's farmed raise or not.
I moved from meat to fish diet in my 60s n my blood test improved. As for certain fish its the trout thats bad due to high cholesterol. My mom preferred river fish without knowing they r high in cholesterol. So yes il
Continue fish
Bad cholesterol is a myth. If GOD made it and man has not altered it, it is good for us.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the SuperThanks! We really appreciate your support! 😊
Why all those expensive fish you mentioned, tilapia yes it's not good to eat because it's breeding in stagnant water, but blue marlin is good source of protein and king fish. Other same fish that has no scales are high in purine, but those who eat moderately it's OK all foods if you eat to much and always that's bad. Base on my experience, living near the sea in Philippines we don't see that some people eating King fish and. Marlin got bad feelings. It depends on how to cook. Even some are eating king fish with vinegar, onion, ginger and chili, cucumber but they don't get any problem or they don't complain
And also parasites, "like worms",
Thank. You
Wild caught salmon is my #1 choice
Why isn't halibut on your list for lead
For years I have only eaten cold water fish. Salmon,Tuna, Cod ,Hake. These do not upset my gut.
Eating seafood still is better choice than red meat.good video.thanks.❤jai jitendra
No it isn't,while seafood is good redmeat has anti inflammatory properties, and vitamins, lies about arteries cloggin' and cancer etc,a total.myth!!!
What about farmed Norwegian salmon is it not sprayed with a lot of chemicals in antibiotics?😂
Yes bless the food before eating & give Thanks to God the we have eaten.
If you eat farm raised catfish. It is the same as eating fish out of a toilet.
Now if we listen to to you, what else can we eat that does not have toxins in it? From farm products which used pesticides and fertilizers to sea products in polluted seas and environment, i think none of these food stuff is exempted from acquiring toxins. If we don't eat them then we die of hunger...for me, we just eat moderately in order to live because what we eat snd whatcwe do compliments with one another and provide stength for a healthier life.
Except for tilapia, how are we,in the U.S., consuming the rest on a regular basis?
Well, one thing that they did not mention was frogs I love frog legs and what do they eat bugs!
Australian professional fishermen decimated the Orange Roughy .
I was surprised that you didn’t put farmed salmon and farmed trout. Like other farmed fish , antibiotic and growth hormone is commonly used to combat sea lice and overcrowding. A very toxic fish
Fishermen on the Great Barrier Reef would feed the flaps of suspicious fish to the cat, a bit like canaries in a coal mine.
