As a Texans fan that was 14 years old at this time, idk how I put my self thru this grief. I shed so many tears for this team. And now I have shed happy tears watching cj stroud and COACH Ryan’s do their thing rn in Houston. I will forever be a proud Texans fan.
I stated supporting HTs earlier this year as got in a work sweepstakes, it was painful watching this late loss in retrospective! when i picked them (out of a cup) everyone was like "bad luck mate". Tbh been great with Stroud, Collins and Dell, Singletray, Beck, Grenard, fairbairn... Well all of them, even mills out for 20 yards. really enjoyed it. Just wish they could try put it away a bit sooner than 5 seconds before the game each time!
The 2009-2010 New York Jets were a extremely fun team to watch, stellar defense with a explosive offense as well as two deep playoff runs (all games being on the road in very tough environments). It’s such a damn shame that they have fallen apart since those playoff runs
@@Hybridswimmer Inconsistent yes but they’re receiving core carried big time. Say what you want about Sanchez but he could absolutely cook with Santonio, Braylon, and Cotchery. Games like this that they were able to pull out of their ass were incredible. Was the main reason why he went downhill after they left
I remember being at this Jets game because my parents and friends forced me to travel to New York to watch this game, even though I wantdd to watch my Cincinnati Bengals play on TV because I'm a Bengals fan but anyway this was one of the best games I seen growing up as a kid
This is also the game where there was a fan who ran onto the field, and there was funny commentary between gumbel and dierdorf (the commentators of this game)
Insane finish and comeback by the Jets after nearly blowing a comfortable 4th Qtr lead. 09-10 is the last time my Jets were actually fun to watch. Bring me back!
Umm. This Texans team had a bright future tho. 2011 they were a really good team, but Schaub got injured. They won the division and beat a healthy Bengals team while starting Rookie QB TJ Yates. Even the Watson Texans were up 21-0 on the Chiefs, who won the SB that year.
I wouldn’t say that. 2011 was a good year (even though they didn’t make the playoffs), and 2012 started off okay, then of course, the rails fell off. 2013 was seen as the last hope, then of course, they became the dumpster fire we knew since 2014
@Venom3254 2011 was straight till the giants beat them and we went on that 3 game losing streak to end the season. 2012 we were about to be real good till we lost our best Defensive and offensive player with Revis and Holmes within the first 3 or 4 games of the season.
@@MP-yc2ou Nah, they lost to some teams they should've won. Loses to the Eagles, not even beating the Patriots once, fucking Broncos, and Raiders costed them the season before that game. They could've beaten the Dolphins after that game to at least have some hope.
Mark Sanchez was a shinning hope for jets fans that thought they had their guy. He would lead the jets to the playoffs this season, beat Brady, and lose to the steelers in the AFC championship game. Unfortunately, this was just a fluke.
Mark sanchez defeated- Tom Brady, Carson Palmer, Phillip Rivers, and Peyton Manning in the 2 years the Jets made the playoffs back to back in 2009/2010.

Didn't see that one coming, but I figured it would be a tough game, Texans are a young team and the Jets defense is no joke. You have to play them a certain way. Hope Stroud is OK tho, brutal 2 weeks for then injury wise
As a lifelong Jets fan, Sanchez has a special place in my heart and memory. He wasn’t great. He had terrible years. But he was a gamer. He never looked scared in big moments. He had a pair.

This 2010 season was rough as a Texans fan. They had games where they could have won, but their pass defense was historically bad that actually cost them games this one in particular. I thought they had this game won, but the secondary let them down
Yup but injuries really derailed his career. He was suspended for the first 4 games of the 2010 season then made the pro bowl in 2011. But was injured the next 2 years with his season cut short in 12/13 and I felt like he wasn’t the same player after that

Mark Sanchez really ran the 2-minute drill well to perfection
If LT doesn’t get 20 yards on that checkdown it’s probably completely different end result.
