I'd only been at Wharton for a few weeks when I filmed this video so I know this isn't the most informative tour lol but I did my best! Hey man, you are at wharton. I would worry more about making connections than the business tbh. If u make solid connections you will be able to grow your busines with a greater degree of success afterwards
i'm still making a lot of connections so think it's all about finding a good balance. good point though and i'll keep this in mind!

I respect the rational decisions you make and your ability to maintain positivity consistently. I look forward to your future videos and wish your family a healthy, safe and a rich lifestyle.
On the other hand, I wanted to ask as an upcoming sophomore student at a semi target, what advice would you give me to maximize my chances of making myself a top candidate for IB industry. It means alot if you could give me a comprehensive answer. Finally, what resouce would you recommend to learn the technicals? Thanks ahead.
biggest recommendation would be joining the best business / student orgs on your campus. that will really help you know the ins and outs of recruiting and having friends with similar interests + alumni who can help with recruiting is super helpful.
besides that, would suggest you aim to get as many banking / finance internships during the semester and keep your grades up
for technicals the class 400 questions M&I guide is a good place to start which you can probably google and find online and then to really get good at modeling and don't mind paying i recommend wall street prep courses (you can use my code rareliquid to get 20% off)

To be more specific, I am currently attending Penn State University, and I wanted to know if you know anything of the school and its relations to the finance industry. Additionally, I am thinking of transferring colleges. Do you think it is worth devoting my time to college applications or should i devote more of my time towards staying at the same institution and investing more time towards networking, building a strong resume and preparing for interviews. Especiallly, for the future, does moving into buy side have a prereq of graduating from a top university?

i think it's all about finding the right balance! lot of classmates are going to be recruiting or working on their own businesses and i'm just working on rareliquid. but great point! good to keep in mind what you said
