Hi Anthony , nice to see you are back Thanks always for providing such quality tutorials and for your time in this busy world . List updated I may suggest Hey Hey My My , Oasis Rock and roll will never die
Hey William! Yeah back again, I'm never too far away, I just always seem spend a lifetime doing retakes and editing haha! But onwards and upwards, really glad the community are enjoying this one! I would actually really like to do one for Hey Hey My My, I absolutely adore that live performance where Noel looks black and white for most of it haha. I'm actually going on holiday to Canada for 2 weeks so could be a month or so till the next vid, will definitely be thinking about Hey Hey My My! Will post pictures etc, but as always thanks for all your support William, I love this community!
Ant's Guitar Tutorials Enjoy your trip and looking forward for the next one . Yeah we know that it takes quite while to edit some videos and just want to thank you for sparing some of your time in this busy World for doing that for this community I Have a safe trip I can’t wait for hey hey my my , I haven’t found a decent tutorial to follow up Cheers
Alright mate! Really glad these are helping, it's another classic from the Gallagher's isn't it?! Gonna be taking a couple weeks abroad so could be a month till the next vid!
Ant's Guitar Tutorials that’s fine mate, got plenty of videos I still have to watch and learn aha. Speaking of going abroad do u reckon you’ll be able to put out a tutorial for Columbia in the future? Anyways, have a good holiday mate
@@chrispbacon5441 it takes time to get through some of these, especially if you're either hungover or not in the mood haha! Columbia is a great shout, nice to jam along to, there must be about a thousand guitar tracks as well, I'll add it to my list! Could definitely try and make a practical/usable version of it!
Ant's Guitar Tutorials it’s fine if you can’t mate, I’ll be able to learn somewhere else. It’s just that you give the best tutorials as you show me how to play very well and give the best sound
Hey gang hope you're all rocking out to Don't Go Away! If you loved the video and the detail I bring to my lessons head over to my Patreon and check out what I've got to offer! I could be working on the song lesson you want me to make! www.patreon.com/antsguitartutorials?fan_landing=true
This blows my mind. Dude, you're great! I may have to stick with air guitar for this one. Doubtful I'll ever get this to where it sounds even halfway decent. Hoping to get just the opening licks. Great video and playing though!
Just started work on I Am The Resurrection! Will take me a while to get through it but it's going to be great, hopefully that will scratch your itch for some Roses!
Hey Glen, how're you doing? The wonderful thing we've the Oasis material is the tone can be made not using much, essentially you just need a rocking overdrive/distortion sound, either one on your amp (I used the amp distortion for this one) or a pedal, all you need to do is set the gain to a level where you can still make out the individual notes in a chord, so it's not over saturated!
Haha yeah I am due another roses lesson Ruth, I'm trying to get myself together for a look at I Am The Resurrection, seems quite a daunting task to be honest haha! I'm away on holiday soon so could be a month or so till the next lesson! :)
Yeah that's right mate! I've always found them to be a bit thicker, There's not a massive amount in it, but you can tell! To be honest generally I find my Fender an easier guitar to play, although the 335 is actually easier to bend, but if you want that roaring sound any of the Gibson models are obviously great! I've never owned a Les Paul, but have played a few, the weight does my back in after a while haha (depending on the model), and the 335 is great but it's just a massive body! Cant go wrong with the SG either, smaller, lighter, packs a punch
Great stuff mate. I’ve been playing acoustic for 2-3 years and trying to learn some lead. Question, on the lead guitar intro, on the original, isn’t there a quick up down muted strum?
Great stuff mate! Hope it helps for your own gigs and the like, and yeah quite possibly haha! Luckily for us that's a nice easy thing to fix while playing live!
Ant's Guitar Tutorials thank you for the reply! I was taught mostly on acoustic. I play all my scales with fingers at a right angle the the fretboard. I’ve noticed people on electric have more of an angle to them. Do you have any tips on how I can achieve this? Also, I am used to curling my fingers over and playing with my fingertips. On electric you seem to have your finger much flatter and almost play with your fingerprints. Is that correct? It feels like I have to relearn everything!
@@thelukos To be honest that's probably because I don't have my university guitar tutor yelling at me to play with my fingertips anymore haha! Sometimes it's because I'm being lazy with my technique, and sometimes I play with my fingers flatter to mute the strings above and below ..generally playing with your fingertips is better for dexterity, and also dropping your thumb down to the centre of the neck is good when you can. You might find the more you experiment with string bending and barring frets (which wouldn't be practical on acoustic) your fingers may start to drift into strange positions, and that's absolutely fine! For now as long as it sounds good and the position is comfortable for you then that's good enough to begin with, we have a lifetime to perfect the technique!

Weird questions but compared to a fender say, are gibson necks wider? Just wondering because im in the market for 1

Hi Bradley! I use a TC Electronics HyperGravity, really recommend, it's a great price point and reliable!
Ant's Guitar Tutorials thanks
Ant how do you record your acoustic? Do you mic it? I’ve never owned an acoustic. What’s the cable going into it? Is it an electro acoustic?
What strumming pattern please
thx a lot mate
