After our roadtrip through Iceland 2 years ago Gareth and I were in search of a destination that offers just as much natural beauty and unique outdoor experiences as Iceland and ended up choosing Norway because of its rugged coastline featuring numerous huge fjords and thousands of picturesque islands.
Regarding our route we’ll be starting off in Stavanger in Southwest Norway to learn more about the history of the country before moving on to Odda for some proper winter trekking. After that we make our way to Bergen, one of the most picturesque cities of the country which is often referred to as the fjord capital. Then we hit the slopes in Myrkdalen together with a well known Winter-X-Games athlete to warm up for the next dream destination further up north in Northern Norway: the Lofoten islands, which we’ll be exploring properly from west to east. The capital Oslo will be our last stop to finish this trip in style by visiting some of the major sights of the city and attending an intense football derby.

Sorry for being MIA for so long - it's been a tough year but now I'm back with a proper documentary from our Norway trip following the Norway series which I published 2 years ago. I plan on doing more of these longer documentaries in the future...this way I can show more of the actual travel experience. May I ask that if I’m a tourist from Asia planning solo travel to Norway without any debit or credit cards , just cash , would I be able to find some cafe that accept cash and able to ride bus using cash ?

Have a great time! Our family visited Norway in summer 2019 and visited Bergen, Oslo, Voss, and stavanger. Norway is gorgeous and hypnotizing. We also had the opportunity to visit Iceland. Hope to return back to Norway as we didn’t get a chance to visit a bit north of Norway.

Trondheim is the third biggest city in Norway. Stavanger is the 4th biggest city.

hey, awesome video, quick question, do you have to pay to take a ferry to bring the car to Bergen? do you remember how much is the fee to take a ferry? thanks, I am planning on doing the same thing in a few weeks from Odda back to Bergen, I guess I have to take the ferry to cross and return to Bergen, thanks a lot
Yes you do - the prices for the ferries vary depending on the distance. It's between 10-20€ for the short ferry rides (up to 10km) as far as I remember. You can usually pay right at the spot. Only for the longer ferry crossings I'd recommend a reservation beforehand.
