Albanian soldiers attack a village defended by Canadian and American opposing forces during a situational training event as part of exercise Combined Resolve III at the Hohenfels Training Area, Germany, Oct. 27, 2014. Albania is one of over a dozen NATO and European partner nations participating in the bi-annual exercise at the U.S. Army's major training areas in southeastern Germany to enhance connections - personal, professional, technical and tactical - in a multinational brigade training environment.

You realize that this is just training? Albanian would never fight Canada. The real experienced Albanian soldiers are helping north America fight the Middle East. If it was real, why would someone be recording. The camera is a nice slow movie style stride, if it was real, it would look like there is and earthquake happening. Albania and Canada are really good allies for god sake.

The Albanians are very lucky for being able to be training with some of the best militaries in the world!
Our special forces train with the US navy seals and these soldiers in the video are just recruits doing training they arent actual ones, check videos of our soldiers in afghanistan working with the US army and see how much of a beast they are.

Worked with the Albanians in 2013. All they wanted to do was hand to hand combat and didn't have a clue how to clear a building lol

There are some ignorant individuals in the comment section making fun of the albanians because they "dont know how to fight" when you can clearly see these are legit beginners and nothing else, you wont expect recruits to beat a top 20 military powerhouse of the world when you are still a developing country... if you want to see real albanian military check videos of BOS in afghanistan with the US army. They are trained with the US Navy Seals aswell and were ranked as one of the best forces in NATO.
Its just Canadian Forces are one of the most well trained plus the Albanians are just learning how to assault

For everyone hating on training results; just remember Albanian army was in Afghanistan for 11 years and only lost one soldier.
6,500 albanians have been in direct combat only in Afghanistan while serbs laughing the only thing they might have done is scoping the goats in mountains.
I know The yellow butt stops at the end of the barrel are for training purposes but how do you know if you had hit the enemy?

They say that canada is full of cowards. Oven though we've taken Vimy ridge as other nations failed (U.K. and France) and held off German attacks at The Somme which One General at the time said was the most decisive battle of ww1. And in ww2 in Italy we cleared the path from the boot of Italy (Sicily) to Rome and to Juno Beach where the defenses of the Atlantic wall was greater than the other landing sectors (Utah, Omaha, Sword and Gold) and had greater resistance from the Germans than the other landing zones, plus penetrated deeper into German territory than any other Allied forces. Not mention the liberation of the Netherlands and the final push into Germany. Also just to end it off, we were the only country to ever have had the Opportunity to burn the white house. Also be Glad we're there Training these soldiers. By the time us Canadians are done training these particular soldiers they'll be fully professional soldiers and the rest of the Albanian Army will think there Special Forces. LOL😀😂

Canada was a part of Britain at the time the white house got burned, and the burning was done by the british army. Yes it was burned by people whom stayed in canada after it became independent, But technically the british burned er down.
Of course the British burnt it down, no Canadian that know's his history well will say the Canadian's burnt it. However, the Canadians were the ones that took Detroit, playing off the American fear. They defended Queenston Hights, took a whole US army captive at Beaver Dams, with much less forces.

He (along with others) was helping defend the village with the Canadians, This was a training exercise for the Albanian Army on how to take a village from a resisting force, That's why you constantly see Canadian and US instructors watching over the Albanians. So the uniform he was wearing isn't part of the Standard ACU-UCP but more of a Police style uniform.

If everyone was equal, there would be no need for training. Unfortunately that is not the case. I am glad the Canadian and American forces saw the need and provided training. Maybe it will save a couple of these soldiers lives one day.

+Thomas Quijote If you look at all the soldiers helmets and vests, theres black sensors on them, when you fire your weapon it sends a laser designation to the soldier and identifies that you are hit, thats why you here random ringing sounds in the video, it's the sound of people being tagged, it's like a way more awesome and bad ass version of laser tag.

99% of comment here are about one Vs another... But this is training with control scenarios and not 1 vs 1. Like any fighters they won't training by beating each other's face. Training is not a championship race.

The Canadians were supposed to "lose" to give the Albanians experience in attacking a village, however if this were real, the Canadians would of slaughtered the Albanians.
+blackfrost300 absolutely slaughtered. they have no accuracy past 300 meters with iron sights on aks and rpks. the canadians got c7s effective out to 500 meters with the c79 sights. c9 lmgs qith the same. probably a ar10 somwhere to hit past 900. they have lights packing taped to the heat shields of the aks

99.9 % of the time we fire Single shot. Even if the c8 c7 has repetition it's a waste of ammo. It's better to pump the trigger and aim your shots. Even when you do cover fire. We usually just pump some rounds down range. Full auto is useful for weapons like the C9 C6. SO for the Albanian side Even if they don't use burst ect they can still pump the trigger. A lot of civilian get hung up on the fact that a weapon is full auto or not... but really all you need is Semi auto! most of the people who own an ar15 or the fact that full auto is illegal is a but of a joke since a good shooter will usually fire in single shot 99.9% of the time any how. Sure its fun at the range to expand a mag in a few seconds just for the fun of it. But in battle you can expand your First line ammo Really fast if you go full auto! Just a thought.

Being a Canadian that knows anything about firearms even makes me minority. So i feel ya.
It's blanks combined with a "laser tag" like system. That's what those black balls on their gear are, they detect hits with that laser attached to the front of the weapon. Blank rounds offer more realistic weight and firing recoil and sound than laser beams.
