Anyone saying they are too militarized, you’re wrong. These guys protect the border not patrol it, at least these types of agents. You are not going to seem them flying or driving around town.
Lol
Learn how to spell first you illiterate fuck
This comment didn't age well.
@ eat some bacon
BORTAC does regular field work quite often.
Look at Europe. We need these guys and the Army.
Lexcellent One we don't need the army we just need more border patrol officers, maybe customs guys should be able to do Overtime patrolling the border.
Really Europe has the GIGN and the Grom and more so i think they good
All these people saying they look too militarized or are wanna be spec ops must not know that these guys are sent to Afghanistan and Iraq. There training mirrors Army special forces and these guys are one of the most elite law enforcement tactical teams in this country.
Their training does not mirror Army Special Forces! Stop spreading that garbage! These "law enforcement" goofs have the minimum of training. I have worked with some of them in Afghanistan, and I would not want them anywhere near me in a firefight!
I have not worked with them but i have met many of them in Afghanistan too. Many friends i served with got out and joined BP and a couple actually got onto Bortac and I know one in BORSTAR. Their training is absolutely based and mainly mirrors army SF training. Most fed leo tact teams receive training by military. FBI HRT agents are literally sent to part of BUD/s and various specialty schools and are known to train with Delta. These federal law enforcement teams receive a ridiculous amount of training and a full time team exceeds what your average Army infantryman will ever have.
+Cameron Strong again these BP agents do not get anywhere near the training of Army SF...now if you are talking about FBI HRT out of Quantico thats a different animal, and they are in a different league then BP. yes they(BP) may get a "little" different training then the average Army infantry men. during a fire fight I rather have that infantry man by my side then any Border Patrol clown.
+Cameron Strong have you been through any army SOF training?
i find it funny that you call BORTAC guys clowns when more than half of them are former military lol. I agree their selection process doesn't mirror SF, but thier CQB tactics and SOPs does mirror DOD SOF units.
What selection have you been to don't ask somebody else that question if you haven't either.
Alot of Go hard barracks infantry men in the comments. Just because your only deployment was Korea doesnt mean you can talk shit about these guys putting in work.
I appreciate the fact these guys have the equipment and vehicle for this type of work! The cartels and other international criminal elements they may face are well armed and have shown to use deadly force in order to conduct their business. So I'm 100% for the military style characteristics! Only thing is all of that show for one suspect? Lol.
Could’ve been a high profile target. Yet again it was only for demonstrational purposes only.
One day I'm going to be a border patrol agent.
I hope one day i will be one too
Hey I'm gonna join Bortac as well. Makes 3 of us. Hopefully they let us customize our service weapons.
And gear*
@@christopherorozco1021 that's the last thing you need to be worrying about
@L7M You're right I'm 15 so I can't possibly know but I've been learning a lot about the duties of Border Patrol Officers and the Military since I'm joining it before I join Border Patrol. Also been learning a LOT about firearms and plan to possibly collect firearms in the future and become an SOT dealer after getting an FFL.
This was excellent! Great demonstration of LEO equipment and team tactics!
Haters gonna Hate.
This video is so awesome!!! The way it begins with that cool chopper is really neat. Good job!!!
I love it keep up the good work and thank you
Very nice! Respect to the Guys from Germany! 👍🇺🇸
Great video
Look at those sexy outfits
I saw an article from the Washington post saying that they were using the U.S Army's newest operational Camouflage Uniform even though they were wearing Multicam, which has been in service since 2004. It was written in 2018

SupraGuy2jzgte well yea it’s a honda😂
Yeah you're doing a real good job boys bringing them into the country
They put the panic in Hispanic
some of them are probably hispanic though
Even though more than half of them are Hispanic. Ignorance. The BP wouldn't want people who aren't bilingual. You're lucky if you are English speaking only and land a job with them.
Rod Salka they are
LOL I literally spend my food out when I read your comment
funny.....but racist......you're a racist.
i wish i could pass the test but is so fucking hard
How hard is it?
All that gear and equipment just to catch and release... cool.
Its a training exercise and they are BORTAC. In thr Infantry we always ran scenarios in full kit. Keep it moving lil keyboard bitch
It’s funny, the way he slap on their heads :)

they could add at least couple more detainees it was too many bodies just to arrest one simple guy theyre good though
jovanny campa it was a training exercise
So wait.........Both Helicopter and the vehicle's conducting the traffic stop are in direct line of site of each other? Not even offset? hmmmmm

I don’t know if I would do good in this sector but fuck quite frankly anywhere you put me I will become great.

Lamigra! Lamigra!
I can understand the pain of border guarding forces
...less pay and facilities than the armed forces plus step motherly treatment by the federal govt.... Same happens to the border guards of india i.e. BSF, SSB and ITBP.....those who says border guards are nothing compared to infantry man of army....they must understand that unlike army they are much ahead in the borders and also deployed 24×7 .... Even a border guarding paramilitary unit during 1965 war against pakistan defeated a regular infantry brigade of the aggressor....
why are they so close together, why are they both in a direct line of sight with each other and wouldn't it have been quicker to just land the helicopter lol
Casey Reed This was a demonstration. Did you not watch and see the large crowd at the end? If this was a real scenario, the ground may be uneven or there may be bushes/other obstacles that may obstruct their landing capability. And the ground team was pursuing until the air unit could cut them off. It’s called an aerial and vehicle based interdiction.
It’s called landing on the x and you don’t do that unless you have a strict time on target, also factoring in ground exposure to enemy fire for the bird
Will you guys ever have a video of USAF security forces?
Not much video of them out there.
they have the right equipment for the job! working the borders and ports can be very dangerous giving the fact this is how all of the imported drugs come into the country! the people sending the drugs are not your inner city corner boys either! the gunmen from these cartels have powerful assualt riffles. Many are ex police and military as well! only problem i have with this video is the description. in says joint LEO operation, which agencies would be great to know.
These guys are ex special forces and Navy seals or more
@Yo ming well yes they are though
@@motorboat3478 🤣they really aren’t
Cross Fire.
It would have been easier to make a short touchdown and have everybody scramble out of the helicopter. KISS
+MrTryAnotherOne yes yes it probably would lol maybe someone could explain why fast rope was the best ooption here or did they think it would look cool lol
#1- Pilots have an armor plate preventing their upper body from being hit by gunfire from the sides, and a round won't pass thru the hull and not the front window either. 2- Its training. They're practicing roping because there's an abundance of situations where landing isn't an option (roofs, terrain gradient, ground obstructions, etc). Figured this stuff would've been pretty obvious
MrTryAnotherOne you are totally right because when theres bullets flying in a real combat situation u really dont have that much time to waste fast roping people one by one they could got the whole bird compromise
In a real life scenario the ground may be sloped, full of shrubbery, they could possibly be simulating an urban or forested environment where there might not be enough room for the helicopter to get any lower. Also in this instance the ground is solid asphalt, no point in risking an injury while disembarking to try and save a second or two
Easier yes .... but this was about TRAINING! Many times the terrain is not hospitable for landing. Choppers are vunerable coming down & going up. At hover they can move quickly.
Let this be a lesson kids, if you try and sneak in drugs and guns on your backk, you will get attacc and get clapp from BORTACc. Stay in school :)

So sad it has come to people cheering for this, fucking sad.
looks like Jade Helm to me.
what kinda police officer is that? i also heard that they were taking away a lot of weapons from the border patrol agents... so is this just really for show? oh ya, ARIZONA PRIDE BOYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
oh im guessing this is bortac
Kids TV - Cartoons & Nursery Rhymes haha “boyeeeee!”
Id say stick to nursery rhymes
The guys were too close together. Easy to be taken down. A grenade would killed them all. This is not how the military performs a takedown.
They aren't the military, it's federal law enforcement. Large difference between enforcing laws, and offensive warfare.
@@knightlykin1499 My guy, these guys are trained in special operations and know how tactical skills work. If you think you're such an expert then by all means jump right in. You're right they aren't military, but they undergo a lot of the same type of scenarios and BORTAC does do operations in other countries as well.
You probably were stationed in korea and never deployed 😭😂
This is not call of duty idiot
Too bad they aren't allowed to do their job! TRUMP 2016!

@@E_deck18 they are people dumbass you don't just shoot
ak -47 would end all this play ground shit.
what is this for joke
still think they are a bit too militarized
+Agent Smidt yes yes they are. I understand why its important to have specialized units and training for the worse case scenario but we have toolk that principle a little too far.
when you deal with drug cartels everyday you need to be dumbass
Anyone saying they are too militarized, your wrong. These guys protect the border not portal it, at least these types of agents. You are not going to seem them flying or driving around town. They protect use from cartels with billions of dollars in weapons. They defend it.
James Cowan what I think they are not militarized enough ..I'd like to see more armored cars, tanks and attack helicopters it's the BORDER not the interior of a metro area . BORDER PROTECTION
There've been units like them in every police department since the early 60s...these aren't the regular guys, by a long shot. These are the worst case scenario guys. And even then, they aren't really militarized. They aren't using artillery, air strikes, tanks, or heavy machine guns or light machine guns. They don't even use frag grenades.
Every time somebody makes a "militarization" argument, they are usually commenting on the cosmetic side of it, simply because they are using better armor than the regular guys. Can you blame them for thinking about individual safety for a change?
So they use blackhawks, oh well, they're a damn good aircraft for getting from point A to point B. They don't have mounted weapons on them. So they have armored vehicles, so what, they didn't replace the patrol vehicles. They're used for emergency situations, like when the special teams are called in or when there's rioters are destroying cruisers. They've always had an armored vehicle, but this time they got a better one from the surplus of vehicles coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Wannabe spec ops :)
+Bakesy jk You do know that most of the guys in BORTAC are prior military right? They all come primarily from US Special Forces, Navy SEALs, Army Rangers and etc.
+Jonathan Choi k
Assuming you pass the test. You can become seal team 6 with just navy experience you know that right?
